Hello, I’m Kazuhiko Goto. Please call me “Kazu”. I'm a national-licensed tour guide. I have a wife and 4 children.
I was born in Osaka city near Kyoto, although I have lived in many places across Japan. I used to work for multinational electric company and I traveled to many countries (U.S., Thailand, Hong Kong etc.) on business.
I have enjoyed guiding many foreign tourists in Kyoto, Nara, Osaka, Hiroshima, Tokyo, Mt. Fuji etc. for many years.
During your tour, you can discover a rich Japanese history spanning about 2,000 years, learn about and experience profound Japanese arts (tea ceremony, flower arrangement etc.), feel the spiritual atmosphere of Buddhist temples or Shinto shrines, see a breathtakingly beautiful scenery of Mt. Fuji, bamboo forest, Japanese gardens etc..
Moreover, you can taste Japanese cuisine that each season has to offer (Sushi, Tempura, Soba or ramen noodle etc.).
You can get close to nature and feed wild deer or monkeys or even a build snowman in winter.
I’m sure that I can provide a splendid tour of Japan that will be a lasting memory for you to treasure.
Experience the mysteries of Japan with 5 senses !!

Kazuhiko was a good tour guide for our group of 6. We were able to understand his English, appreciated his personal stories, and his knowledge of the areas we visited. He was flexible when we wanted to adjust the itinerary due to time constraints. He took us to a lovely, authentic Japanese restaurant for lunch. A pleasant experience all in all.

Kazuhiko, or Kazu as he asked us to call him, was an exceptional guide who went above and beyond to make our experience truly memorable. Even before meeting us for our tour, Kazu was extremely helpful. Our group was rather large (17) and he not only planned a full day of site seeing but also made lunch reservations for the entire group at a delicious soba restaurant. Everyone in our group loved it! During our day, Kazu took us to four of Kyoto’s most beautiful sites and at each location had handouts with details and important information. He did so much pre-work to make the day run smoothly. I highly recommend Kazu as a guide because of his knowledge, helpfulness (a member of our group lost a phone at Konkani-ji temple and he helped us located it), attention to details and delightful p... read more
