Hello, I’m Kazuhiko Goto. Please call me “Kazu”. I'm a national-licensed tour guide. I have a wife and 4 children.
I was born in Osaka city near Kyoto, although I have lived in many places across Japan. I used to work for multinational electric company and I traveled to many countries (U.S., Thailand, Hong Kong etc.) on business.
I have enjoyed guiding many foreign tourists in Kyoto, Nara, Osaka, Hiroshima, Tokyo, Mt. Fuji etc. for many years.
During your tour, you can discover a rich Japanese history spanning about 2,000 years, learn about and experience profound Japanese arts (tea ceremony, flower arrangement etc.), feel the spiritual atmosphere of Buddhist temples or Shinto shrines, see a breathtakingly beautiful scenery of Mt. Fuji, bamboo forest, Japanese gardens etc..
Moreover, you can taste Japanese cuisine that each season has to offer (Sushi, Tempura, Soba or ramen noodle etc.).
You can get close to nature and feed wild deer or monkeys or even a build snowman in winter.
I’m sure that I can provide a splendid tour of Japan that will be a lasting memory for you to treasure.
Experience the mysteries of Japan with 5 senses !!

Dear Ms.Monica I appreciate your nice feedback. I’m very pleased that your nice family enjoyed their tour. I had great time as well showing your family around Nara. I'm sorry that I made you walk a lot. I'm anxious that your children got tired. I sincerely hope this experience was memorable. I sincerely hope you visit Japan again and if so I would be glad to guide your family again. Thank you!! Best regards, Kazuhiko Goto
Kazu was asked to organise a traditional dinner and later karaoke......he picked us up at our hotel. There were 15 in our party in Kyoto. He walked us to a beautiful traditional restaurant where we had a private room with our own waitress, he also arranged for us to pay separately for the bill which seems to be difficult to do in Japan. The setting and the meal were delightful. We then moved onto karaoke however half the group did not come and the other half found that the karaoke was not what we were expecting. Perhaps it’s the way Japanese do karaoke but not westerners....we did not stay. However Kazu was understanding and very polite when we declined to stay at karaoke. He gave us all paper cranes as a parting gift.
Dear Ms.Sally I appreciate your feedback. I’m very pleased that your group enjoyed Kaiseki dinner. I sincerely hope this experience was memorable. I sincerely hope you visit Japan again and if so I would be glad to guide you again. Thank you!! Best regards, Kazuhiko Goto
We had a great time with Kazuhiko in the Nara region and Deer Park. He was able to find transport options to assist one of our group who had some mobility issues, and paced the day perfectly so that we could enjoy many special attractions. The Deer Park experience was quite unique and fabulous, not to be missed. He provided us with extensive information regarding both the area and also Japanese history. Kazuhiko has excellent English skills and a very personal attitude to his guests and I highly recommend him to any prospective clients.
