We had a fantastic tour with Fumiko and would recommend her as a guide for anyone looking for an experienced and personable guide in Tokyo. We asked for a tour that was a mix of old and new Tokyo and that was varied enough to keep our young family interested (kids aged 8, 6 and 4 years old) and she planned it perfectly. We visited Meiji shrine and she taught us how to follow the rituals and pray which the we all really enjoyed - leaving our prayer board hanging in this beautiful shrine was very special. It is super hot in August so Fumiko scheduled a stop for ice cream at a lovely quiet spot and whilst there taught the children some origami and then joined them throwing their newly made paper planes which they loved. It was so nice of her to get involved with the children and they real... read more
Dear Alison, Thank you very much for your review. I also had a very good time with your family. Your children were so lovely and behaved well. Before starting the tour, I was a little bit worried, whether such small children could enjoy Meiji Jingu Shrine and very crowded Takeshita Street. They might have got tired as we had to walk a lot. I dinnot need to worry about it. They walked a lot and all your family members eojoyed everything in the tour such as beautiful senery of the forest of Meiji Jingu Shrine as well as Shirine itself, Origami, 100 yen shop, cupsel toys and raimbow sandwiches, which made me very happy! I hope you will enjoy the rest stay in Japan and see you again some day in the future. Best regards, Fumiko
Wow! Japan can be a challenge to say the least. I don't know how we would have navigated the area we were in without Fumikos help. Just getting to Tokyo from our hotel was a challenge, but once we got there, Fumiko was a life saver. If your traveling with a family, I would highly recommend a tour guide, as the energy needed to get around can be depleted quickly. Having questions in advance for your tour guide will go a long way in making your adventure worthwhile. Learn some basic phrases and ask as many questions as you can at the airport info desk.
Dear Rick, Thank you for your review. I had a very nice time with your family. I hope you will enjoy the rest of stay in Japan. Please take care of yourself. Best regards, Fumiko

Fumiko is a wonderful ambassador for Japan. Not only is she very knowledgeable about the sights and customs of Tokyo, she showed incredible kindness to help us with regard to some lost luggage. I am forever grateful for meeting Fumiko.
Dear David, Thank you for your review. I am very happy that your luggage has found and you could return your home country with it! Although Tokyo was very busy especially during the golden week, I had a very good time with you and Atisha. Please visit Japan again. Tokyo is not always such crowded. I hope you and your family's happiness and good health. See you again someday ! Best regards, Fumiko
We had a fabulous day with Fumiko, who guided us around the cultural sights of Tokyo. She carefully arranged an itinerary to cover the sights I requested including the Imoerial Palace gardens, Meiji shrine and Sensoji Temple, Fumiko was full of information regarding the history of Japan and kept my 3 boys interested, even though temples and shrines are not exactly their cup of tea. Fumiko found a couple of shops for them to keep us going, and kept our tummies full at a delicious udon noodle restaurant . She answered all our questions and also gave us a little insight into living in Japan. We had a really great day and this tour was the best way to begin out time in Tokyo. Thank you Fumiko !
