I had a wonderful day with Marcus. The walking tour of Mejiro that I chose was a fantastic balance of architecture and nature, modern and traditional, and different sacred buildings. Marcus was an enthusiastic and knowledgable guide. I always enjoy walking around a city, and this tour was a great snapshot of a part of Tokyo. At every stop Marcus had lots of knowledge to impart. We did quite a lot of walking, but the stops seemed to be spaced quite regularly along our route. We had lunch at a small and charming cafe. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. By the end of the tour I felt I had learnt a lot and had a great time. I really recommend Marcus. This tour is great, and I'm sure his others are, too.
We enjoyed very much our family tour with Mari - it was a 5 h guided tour that ended a family holiday in Japan, and Mari was extremely helpful in communicating with us to arrange this tour to fit exactly our needs, capacities, and interests. Mari prepared a really informative printed itinerary each of us got, with a simplified version of Japan history to help us understand Japanese art history, and added color-printed images of art works and architecture points of interests that she discussed and presented to us. We wanted the tour to be informative, that we would be able to really learn new things, and Mari made this a true guided seminar. All this, with great atmosphere, great conversations, and a lot of fun (including trying black ice cream! :-) ). We highly recommend touring with Mari and learning from her enormous knowledge of art history and of Tokyo.
We enjoyed a great tour of Shimuzu organised for us by our tour guide Koji. Koji was extremely professional and very helpful in understanding the needs of someone in a wheelchair. My husband is a high functioning quadriplegic who uses a lightweight manual folding wheelchair. We appreciated the excellent communications prior to our tour from Koji- regarding our itinerary and our wheelchair access requirements and having informed Koji of our particular tour requirements, he organised a wheelchair accessible van with driver for our tour and planned a wheelchair accessible itinerary for us. Thankyou for a wonderful in Shimuzu. Peter & Suzy Hengstberger Australia
My husband and I enjoyed the time we spent with Eriko. She is very knowledgeable in all the places she took us - the temple, shrine, parks. She even managed to get us to a free Geisha show. Amazing. Wonderful trip. Jim and I are very grateful to have her as a guide.
Thank you Mr. Hideaki! The best and caring guide especially I have 2 elders that just cant cope walking so long and Mr. Hideaki is a patient guide who kept looking and concern for their needs. We love the birthday candles that you have brought for my dad's birthday and bringing us to the halal restaurant in Ginza. Overall you are the best and will recommend our friends to use you when going to Japan. So many beautiful places that you have brought to us and we should book you more days in future. Love from Siti and the rest of the family!
