I'm Kazumi. I am a qualified tour guide.I have been guiding Hiroshima since 2010.
Through guiding Hiroshima, I can give my guests my knowledge of this area and Japanese culture. At the same time, I can learn their understanding of Japan and the differences between our culture and theirs. Which is very interesting. I also believe that meeting with local people is the best way to know the area. I was born and grew up in Hiroshima. I am very happy to give you wonderful time and memories in Hiroshima. I am really looking forward to hearing from you.

My wife and I and our teenage daughter thoroughly enjoyed this day with Kazumi. We asked Kazumi to combine two of her tours and she was happy to do this we got to see the shrine on Miyajima before heading into Hiroshima and the peace Park area which was incredibly moving. Kazumi is both knowledgeable and engaging and she shared a lot of personal stories and we also had a lot of laughs. Great day highly recommend Kazumi.
We only had a short time ...but had a wonderful time ! Thanks!
Thank you for your comment, Alan and Carol. Yes, it was very short but I am glad that you enjoyed the day in Hiroshima. Have a safe and great cruise. Please come to Hiroshima again! See you soon! Kazumi
We just returned from our cruise around Japan. One of the ports of call was Hiroshima And here our guide was Kazumi - very nice, courteous young woman with excellent English who was very accommodative to our needs. She met us in the port We wanted to visit Miyajima Island and Peace Memorial Park during our tour. As my husband has problems walking for extended period of time Kazumi recommended to take a taxi to get faster to the ferry and reduce walking time. When we got to the island we just strolled around Itsukushima Shrine, took pictures and enjoyed the scenery. We wish we could see this shrine during the high tide but that day high tide was available only in the evening. Kazumi was giving us a lot of explanation about this shrine, it's importance and traditions of Shinto Shrines. We ... read more
Thank you for your fantastic review, Tatyana. I am glad to hear that you enjoyed my tour and could finish your cruise and come back safely. It was good that you didn't catch a cold after that rain. I hope Bob is fine as well. Thank you for your maple syrup. My kids love it so much. Thank you again and hope to see you sometime soon. Kazumi
The Miyajima tour was the first of two tours that I took with Kazumi and the second tour were visits to my family monument in the Saeki district and the Peace Park. Both tours were excellent, but the visit to my family monument was special and this is where Kazumi shined. Kazumi arrived at my hotel at the prearranged time and we took the JR train, then Ferry to Miyajima. We arrived at high tide and the water covered the entire base of the Itsukushima Shrine. After a short lunch, we were off to Mt Misen and after two tram rides, we were ready to hike to the top. Kazumi indicated that it would take about 1 hr to the top, but I read that it was a 30-min hike. Kazumi was right, it took a good hour to reach the top. The cool October weather was perfect. The uphill hike is mainly on stone ... read more
Hi Lyle Thank you very much for your great review. I also had a unique and memorable experience through your tours not only as a guide but also as a person. I hope you can have a safe and wonderful time in rest of your trip . Please write me when you come to Hiroshima again. Kazumi
Ms. Kazumi is really fun, energetic and kind person. She also can speak English fluently and gave us a lot of informations about hiroshima also with its history. She gave us a lots of options which to go first and gave her opinions. We went to a memorian hall, peace park, museum, etc in the morning. At lunch we we planned to eat okonomiyaki, but for some reason the places were booked so we can’t enter the shop. She asked us if we want to eat lunch near there or go to the Miyajima. We decided to go to Miyajima and eat our lunch there. She recommended us Oyster food in Miyajima. It was really fantastic! Also she recommend the the best Momiji Manju souvenirs in hiroshima (for me). Despite the bad weather, we really enjoyed spending time with her! Won’t forget this amazing experience!
Thank you for your wonderful comment, Nicolleta. I was happy to be your guide although so many unexpected things happened today. You and your family are very easy going and accepted many changes. Today's experience actually made me think I need a lot of options for any matters during tours as a guide. Thank you for a picture of us and good luck for your future. Kazumi
