Hello! My name is Kaori.
When I was young I was interested in tourism.
I was studying and working as tour conductor around Kanto area in Japan.
I lived abroad from my early 20s to mid 30s.
Australia, Taiwan, Central America, Great Britain, Spain and Italy.
Now I came back and live in Osaka where I was born.
The reason why I applied for the tour guide is because I was pleased when I guided my foreign friends around Japan.
Me personally love traveling a lot.
Especially trekking in the mountains and MTB trip by myself!
I’ve done El Camino De Santiago in Spain 4times!
Camino francés, Vía de la plata, Camino Norte, Camino de Madrid, Camino de San Salvador, Camino primitivo.
I’ve done Kumano Kodo pilgrimage, too.
I’ve travelled around Morocco, Greece and Italy by MTB :)
I love adventure!
I love to look up sightseeing informations and listen to the story of travelers!
In japan I also lived in several different prefectures such as Osaka, Nara, Wakayama, Tokyo, Kanagawa.
I might be able to guide you not only popular touristic sites but also to local hidden sights!
Please focus things what you like and want!!
I promise to do my best to organize a tour that is consistent with your interests!
Thank you for paying attention for my self-introduction.
I’m looking forward to see you soon.

We had the pleasure of having Kaori as our guide in Kyoto. From the moment we made first contact via the Triplelight site, she quickly reached out to me to learn more about my group and I so that she could customize the experience for us. She kept in regular contact with me to see if we had any changes or new requests. Upon meeting Kaori in person, she greeted us with a big smile on her face and we all clicked instantly. She went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and that we had the best experience. She was patient, knowledgeable, fun, and extremely accommodating. After spending such a memorable day with her, we feel like we made a new friend. I can’t say enough great things about her and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER!
Koari was a delightful guide for our tour to Kyoto for a day. She met us at our ship in Osaka and led us through the intricacies of taking the subways and Bullet Train to Kyoto. She designed our itinerary around what we would find fun and interesting starting with the Golden Pavillion which is a must see and then going to a historic district, Gion Higashiyama, for a trip back in time to another era with women in Kimonos, rickshaws, wooden houses and Pagodas. Her lunch suggestion in a traditional Japanese restaurant was perfect. We learned a tremendous amount about the culture in Japan and her enthusiasm was contagious. You won't be disappointed with Kaori as your guide!
Hello Holly! Thank you for your great comment :) I am glad you had beautiful memory in Kyoto. We started from port of Osaka,,,, which we have to change the train a lot to go to kyoto,,, But you all are always enjoying details of local Japanese scenery and stay very positive! I made my time bright and fun! Thank you for sharing your time in kyoto. Thank you for your cooperation! Kaori
Kaori was absolutely wonderful. We had so much fun getting to see Osaka. Kaori put together a tour based on our interests. She was also very understanding when our cruise ship was a day late getting into port. Kaori helped us get around quickly using the metro system/walking so we could see as much of the city in the short amount of time that we were there. Kaori even brought us to a sake bar which we never would have found on our own. Kaori gave us a lot of information about the areas we were visiting and also answered all the questions we had. The tour was exactly what we wanted. We really want to come back and spend more time in Osaka!

Kaori guided us (me and my 24 years old twins ,from Israel) for 2 days in Kyoto. We had an amazing time with her! Kaori has great knowledge and she planned our days in a great way so we got to see and learn about the main city attractions in the best way we could. Kaori also knew how to adjust the plans according to weather and our preferences. We highly recommend choosing her for your trip.
