My name is Akira.
I am certified national guide interpreter.
I have been living in Tokyo for more than 30 years.
I love walking in the city with no particular plan finding trasures in the streets such as nice ramen noodle restaurants, cafes, funny billboards, and most of all, narrow alleys that remind me of good old days.
I will help you enjoying the days in the city fully and making your vist memorable one.
I am looking forward to seeing you soon.

Thank you Akira, I told him on many occasions- because I needed to tell him in person and not wait till this review. I could not have picked a better person. In all manners he was punctual. I was happy to have had two good days planned by Akira to include all the places I was interested in seeing around Tokyo. You could do Tokyo on your own but you will not see as much and you don’t need to worry about checking where you are or asking for directions. Akira was just wonderful with his knowledge of history, Temple etiquette and where to take you to eat & have coffee. He did not rush you and there were moments where we just sat and enjoyed the scenery. We did about 4 spots each day, which is very do - able, but you must be prepared to walk and catch trains. I loved my two days with you Akir... baca lebih lanjut
Dear Franca, Thank you sooo much for the great review. And also, I would like to thank you for giving me a happy vibe from down under. I am so happy that we could share the wonderful time together including fun and interesting talk about our cultural difference, good meal. I wish I could be a happy and jolly communicator like you who can be friend with whole wide world. If you have another chance to come back, just let me know and let’s explore more about my loving city together again. Sincerely, Akira
Akira was an expert guide. He was flexible as the day progressed and made changes as we talked and walked. My 33 year old son lives in San Francisco and loves coffee so Akira suggested we visit a coffeehouse which was the Blue Bottle coffee inspiration in Japan. He took us to an off the tourist route lunch counter for fresh fish, We saw Sumo wrestlers at their morning practice. He was kind, aware of walking paces and just a delight to spend the day with. Highly recommend!
Dear Virginia, Thank you so much for the great review. I’m so happy that you did enjoyed the tour. The tour was mixture of famous spots and local one for local people as well so I hope you could enjoyed the contrast and I hope that it became good introduction to Japan. I am wishing that you will have a great time for the rest of the days in Tokyo and discover more about my loving country and people. Sincerely, Akira
I cannot recommendation Akira highly enough. He had to make some changes on the fly due to weather and our kids interests but still managed to provide an amazing tour of Tokyo.
Hello Tammy, Thank you very much for the great review. Well, the weather was as not as good as we expected but I am so happy that you all had a great time. The dumplings were delicious, and the view of the capital city from the tower was somehow mysterious and not something that we can not enjoy when it is sunny. I hope the tour was a good introduction of my loving city and I’m hoping that you all have another chance to come back to explore about the city. Sincerely, Akira
What a wonderful welcome to Japan. Thank you Akira - we had been in Japan only hours when he met us at our Hotel, went above and beyond and had such a wealth of knowledge not only about what we were seeing and where we were going but was able to answer all of our collectic questions. He has the patience of an Angel - thank you again for all your help with Suica cards and familiarizing us with Tokyo's transport system!
Dear Dianne, I hope you well and having a great time in Japan. Thank you so much for the great review. I am so happy that you all enjoyed the day with me. It was short tour but I think it was long enough to get a glimpse of the city and to have good sleep after the long flight. I am hoping that you enjoy my loving country fully and this trip will be a memorable one to you and your loving family. Sincerely, Akira
Akira, Is the best tour guide I have ever had. He is very knowledgeable and kind. He answered all my questions, I would recommend him to every one. And if I have the chance to visit Japan again he would be the one I would pick. Akira's English was very good.
Dear Joseph, Thank you very much for the great review. I am so happy that you enjoyed the day with me. Guiding someone like you, very curious, and good observer, was fun and very interesting experience for me to see the world that I am living from different angle. I hope you have another chance to come back to the city (with your future wife!) to explore more about my loving city. Sincerely, Akira
