My name is Akira.
I am certified national guide interpreter.
I have been living in Tokyo for more than 30 years.
I love walking in the city with no particular plan finding trasures in the streets such as nice ramen noodle restaurants, cafes, funny billboards, and most of all, narrow alleys that remind me of good old days.
I will help you enjoying the days in the city fully and making your vist memorable one.
I am looking forward to seeing you soon.

Akira delivered as promised and was really knowledgeable, helpful and kind. It was really helpful we had him to help us apply the Suica cards & navigate the JR and metro systems. His food recommendations were also very good and reasonably priced. Very patient with my little boy who was very excited and curious with the train systems. Thank you Akira, for a lovely experience for our first visit to Tokyo, we had a great time!
Dear Callie, Thank you so much for the greatly review. I am so happy to hear that you all enjoyed the tour. It was my pleasure to guide happy family with active and (very) curious children sharing a great time with them. If you need a navigator for your next visit (I know you already have the little one...) I’ll be very happy to serve you again. Please take care and hope to see you soon. Sincerely, Akira
Our day with Akira-san went smoothly. He brought us to the places as planned and more. He gave us enough time at each place for photography and provided information to us to better appreciate the history. He was understanding and kind and accommodated to our requests. It was a pleasure to have Akira show us Tokyo for the first time with my boys.
Hello Lisa, Thank you so much for the great review. I could only show you just some area but I hope it made a good introduction to my loving city to make you feel come back again. Please take care of yourself and I hope to see you next time. Sincerely, Akira
Akira was fantastic! He met us at our hotel in Ginza and accompanied us on a tour of the "G-Cans" facility outside Tokyo, arranging all the transportation, translating important instructions, and answering our many questions over dinner at an izakaya afterward. He made all three of us feel welcome and comfortable, chatting with us on topics as diverse as hydrology, soccer, and cycling. He's a superb and organized guide: hire him! You won't regret it. Not to mention, he has excellent taste in bikes (among many other things).
Dear Karoun, Thank you so much for the great review. I was so happy to see all of you enjoying every moment that day even during the long train ride. I can still recall you excited at the thing we saw in that “Shrine” in the suburb of Tokyo where not many people, even locals, normally go, and good foods and drinks at Izakaya. I hope you’ll have another chance to come back and I’ll bhappy to explore more about my loving city together. Sincerely, Akira
Met Akira in the lobby of our hotel and from there we saw Tokyo. Akira was very informative explaining not just the sites that we visited but also about Tokyo and Japan. He paid a lot of attention to our 12 year old grandson and had great conversation with him about the shrines and temples that we saw. If you really want to see Tokyo TripleLights and Akira is the way to go, because at the end of the day you will have a very good understanding of Tokyo and the sites that you had visited.
Dear Jim, Thank you very much for the great review. I am so happy that you had great time and also so happy to be chosen as a part of fun trip for happy family. It was so much fun for me to guide cool kid with cool grandparents from America. You all made me feel like I was cool middle-age Tokyo local during that day (and hoping that I am...). Hope to see you again next time, with more cool family member. Sincerely, Akira Nakashima
Akita was everything we had hoped for and more. He took us to parts of old Tokyo that gave us a glimpse of the past. He even took us to little mom and pop shops for an authentic Japanese experience. Highly recommend him for a tour! Arigato gozaimasu!
Dear Christopher, Thank you so much for the great review. You may not know how I was nervous at the beginning since you told me that you works for travel industry and I wonder how you would evaluate me as a guide...! However, I’m so happy that you enjoyed walking while experiencing diversity of my loving city in one day. Hope to se you soon. Sincerely, Akira Nakashima
