My name is Akira.
I am certified national guide interpreter.
I have been living in Tokyo for more than 30 years.
I love walking in the city with no particular plan finding trasures in the streets such as nice ramen noodle restaurants, cafes, funny billboards, and most of all, narrow alleys that remind me of good old days.
I will help you enjoying the days in the city fully and making your vist memorable one.
I am looking forward to seeing you soon.

One of the main reasons I selected AKIRA was that on his demo video is English was excellent and he seemed as a genuine and warm person. We were not disappointed. We booked him for 2 days and we were very glad that we did. He spoke English well, clearly and not too fast and he was the best English speaking guide we ever had in Japan after several trips. He was punctual, very knowledgeable and helpful in organising a detailed itinerary which suited perfectly our specific requirements. He was polite, considerate and a real gentleman. We can only recommend him very highly as he will be a great asset to make sure that your stay in Tokyo is productive and enjoyable.
Thank you so much to Akira for the lovely tour tailored perfectly to our family. Your rapport with the children at the temple and the great experiences at the rabbit cafe and Pokémon cafe where total highlights :). Thank you ever so much. I would recommend you to anyone!
We found Akira to be friendly and open to any requests we had. He answered all our questions and took the trouble to find the answer if he did not know it. We visited traditional areas of Tokyo, and he brought them to life for us. We had a great two days, and would heartily recommend him.
Akira is an excellent tour guide! We enjoyed his company, conversation and he is easily to understand and funny. He displayed good knowledge of Tokyo, although at time, he has his confusion as well with the complexity of Tokyo train and rail system. We enjoyed the places he took us especially the local ramen, with Afuri as our number 1 favourite. Akira, in a very short time, established a great rapport with my son, who at time was impatient and tired. Akira remains my son’s favorite tour guides out of many tour guides we have used from Triplelignt.
We had a wonderful two days with Akira. He was very knowledgeable, funny, and customized an itinerary based on what we wanted to see and do. His English was excellent. We had a lot in common, so spent time in between sights talking about literature and movies. I would highly recommend him as a guide!
