My name is Akira.
I am certified national guide interpreter.
I have been living in Tokyo for more than 30 years.
I love walking in the city with no particular plan finding trasures in the streets such as nice ramen noodle restaurants, cafes, funny billboards, and most of all, narrow alleys that remind me of good old days.
I will help you enjoying the days in the city fully and making your vist memorable one.
I am looking forward to seeing you soon.

We all thought the guided tour by Akira was the highlight of out stay in Tokyo. Akira was great not only did he create a great itinerary that covered everything we wanted, but he also had amazing knowledge of each location and was able to answer all our questions. I highly recommend booking a tour with Akira, you will not be disappointed.
Dear Sophie, Thank you so much for the great review. I am so happy that you enjoyed the day and everything went smoothly. Yes, indeed, it was a one brilliant Sunday in Tokyo. Weather was moderate and nice, the garden was beautiful, pork cutlet was soooo delicious, and the temple was magnificent. I am pretty sure that you still have a lot more to see in my loving city and I am so glad that you have a reason to come back. So, see you next time. Sincerely, Akira
Thank you, Akira!!!! The tour guide was incredibly helpful and you have patience of a saint. My wife and I felt really good about traveling with you, and most importantly we felt safe. You helped us to navigate through the subways, plus you took your time to help show us the finest parts of Tokyo. You are truly a blessing. I would strongly recommend you to all first time travelers to Tokyo. Thanks again, and have a fantastic day!!!
Dear Ricardo and Latonya, Thank you so much for the great review. I enjoyed that day, too. I was so glad to be a part of your happy anniversary trip. I still can’t help smiling anytime I remember how you enjoyed nice Okonomiyaki and Gyudon for the first in your life, funny conversation about anime and Miami Vice, and most of all, great happy vibes with love that comes from two of you. I am looking forward the day to explore my loving city together again. Sincerely, Akira
Having never been to Japan we were slightly nervous. However Akira totally eased us into the huddle and bustle of Tokyo. We loved every place he took us to. Would highly recommend.
Hello Marty, Thank you so much for the great review. I’m so happy that the tour became good introduction for your very first Tokyo trip. I’m looking forward to having another chance to explore together the chaotically organized city with nice people. Dewa mata! Sincerely, Akira
Akira was the perfect guide. Very accommodating, polite, considerate, knowledgeable & great English. He paced our tour perfectly & while he gave us plenty of information, and answered all our questions, he didn’t bombard us with too much information. He also took us the the best Ramon we have ever had. Absolutely delicious!!! A great person to introduce us to Tokyo & would not hesitate to recommend Akira to anyone wanting a guide in Tokyo. Thankyou so much Akira, we had a wonderful couple of days with you.
Dear Catherine Thank you so much for the great review. One of the most happiest moment that I experience as a guide is when my client discover that they love what I love, just like what we experienced today at the ramen restaurant. It was just a bowl of noodle in soup, but perhaps it was more than that for us. Please do not worry about your half good fortune that you picked at the temple. You had a damn good bowl of ramen without standing in a long queue! You are very lucky lady. I know that you will have a great time for the rest of the trip in Japan. I’m looking forward to having another chance to explore my loving city together. Sincerely, Akira
Akira arrived promptly at my apartment ready for the day ahead. He was well prepared and from the word go everything went smoothly. I have been to Tokyo several times and so I was very keen to see the less famous places, having done the well-known ones already. Akira organised the day by combining the kind of things I wanted to do with his knowledge, and I was able to relax, knowing that I could never have found these places on my own. We covered a lot of ground but I didn't feel tired or overwhelmed as Akira had everything in hand. Everything was enjoyable, Akira is a very thoughtful person - and I am looking forward to my next tour with him.
Dear Pamela, Thank you so much for the great review. It was so much fun for me to show you “Tokyo without make-up” and I am so happy that you liked it. I am looking forward to the next tour, too. According to the forecast, the weather on the day will not be as bad as we had expected. I know that we will have another fun time in Tokyo for the next one. See you next time! Akira
