My name is Akira.
I am certified national guide interpreter.
I have been living in Tokyo for more than 30 years.
I love walking in the city with no particular plan finding trasures in the streets such as nice ramen noodle restaurants, cafes, funny billboards, and most of all, narrow alleys that remind me of good old days.
I will help you enjoying the days in the city fully and making your vist memorable one.
I am looking forward to seeing you soon.

This was our first trip to Japan and Akira was so helpful! He not only spent 8 hours of our first day in Japan showing us the sights, but he assisted w getting us acclimated to the culture and transit as well! I would highly recommend Akira. He was patient, kind, flexible and knowledgeable. Thank you, Akira!
Dear Kate, Thank you so much for the great review. I am so happy that your first full day experience in Japan was a good one, and so happy that the tour helped you acclimate to things you need in Tokyo. I discovered in few seconds, soon after we met at the hotel lobby that you and Michelle have good vibes and I knew that we would have a great time. And I can easily imagine that the rest of your adventure in Japan will be enjoyable and memorable one. I am looking forward to another chance to explore my loving city together some day. See you next time! Sincerely, Akira
Akira took us on the less touristy portions of Tokyo and took some very quaint Japanese places. Would definitely recommend again.
Dear Hailey, Thank you so much for the great review. I’m so happy that you enjoyed the local atmosphere of Tokyo that day. Please enjoy the rest of your trip in Japan and I’m looking forward to another chance to explore my loving city together someday. See you next time. Sincerely, Akira
We visited Tokyo in Nov. 2019 from US, with our 2 young children (3 and 6 year-old). We were so relieved and pleased to choose Akira to guide us through Tokyo. He was so attentive and easygoing that he felt like our family member. We really appreciated his style of guiding us and steering us subtly, without making us feel rushed. He was also extremely kind in taking our spontaneous family pictures which we really appreciate. He is a great conversationalist as well and very perceptive. We are very thankful for his patience and sweetness to our kids. Thank you Akira!
Dear Hina, Thank you so much for the great review. I am so happy to hear that you had a great time that two days, just like I did. It always make me feel so good to be guide for happy family like yours. Thank you so much for having me, and also, thank you so much for making me feel like you family member. I am looking forward to another chance to explore my living city together someday. See you next time. Sincerely, Akira
Our day spent with Akira was amazing his warm personality, passion about cultural traditions and his local knowledge helped to show us many places within Tokyo. He took the time to speak with each of us including our teenagers inorder to know what we wished to see. We highly recommend Akira and endeavour to see him again on our next visit.
Dear Cynthia, Thank you so much for the great review. I am so glad that you enjoyed the day. It was my pleasure to be a part of the first Japan trip for wonderful working family from Cairnes. I enjoyed too, that day surrounded by jolly, warm and generous people, you, Paul, Lael, Kade and Kyrin, hearing about their life. I am looking forward to another chance to explore my loving city together some time soon. See you next time. Sincerely, Akira P.S. I was looking for the VB, stands for funny nickname, that your son was telling me about, but unfortunately not available in Tokyo. I’m looking forward to try and see how it works when I have a chance to visit Down Under.
If you want to see Tokyo and learn about its history too, Akira is the person for you. Akira, thank you for planning a great itinerary and showing us the parts of Japan we would have never thought to explore. Your enthusiasm and passion for your city shows and we felt it too! Thank you for a wonderful day of exploration, for taking us to the all lovely little secret spots, and for being great all around. Hope our paths cross again! Happy new year :)
Dear Sue, Thank you so much for the great review. I am so happy that you enjoyed the tour though our time was limited that day. I hope it made good introduction to Tokyo. I’m looking forward to another chance to explore my loving city together. See you next time! Sincerely, Akira
