Hi, I’m Chizuru Morofuji. Please call me Chizuru. I’m a government licensed guide and I’ve been working as an interpreter guide for seven years in the area of western and southern part of Japan.
I love my job and I enjoy meeting people from various countries. I have an experience to study in the U.S. for two years. During my stay, local people gave me a plenty of help and kindness. Thanks to their help, I was able to finish my study there. Now it’s time to express my appreciation to people who need help.
I love the word “Ichigo-Ichie、(一期一会)”, which means “Treasure every encounter, for it will never recur”. I’m sure, I’ll do my best to make your experience in Japan the most wonderful and enjoyable one.
Let’s have wonderful time with me! I’m looking forward to meeting you soon.

Chizuru did an outstanding job coordinating my 2 nights/3 day stay in Naoshima. She sent me a detailed daily itinerary with the times for the trains and ferries. I took the Shinkanzen to Okayama and then she met me and to save time hired a taxi to take us to the port of Uno. Took the ferry to Naoshima. The Benesse shuttle took my luggage to the hotel and we started touring right away. She had purchased tickets to the Chichu museum ahead of time so we lost no time. Then we did the Art House Project area. Took the shuttle back to the Museum Hotel where she went over some of the highlights and told me I could see more of it when I stayed there the 2nd night. Then we walked to the Park hotel seeing some of the art work along the way. The 2nd day we took the ferry to Teshima and had a... read more
We couldn’t recommend Chizuru more highly. She was knowledgeable, fun, flexible and definitely ensured that we enjoyed our two days in Okayama to the full.
Dear Denis, thank you for your review with a high evaluation. I really enjoyed the tour with your group. I was so happy to spend wonderful time with you because you were always cheerful and energetic and tried to entertain us. The two day tour ended in a short time. I hope you enjoy the rest of your stay in Japan. Thank you Denis.
A marvellous guide ! Met her on time and she guided us to our sites effortlessly on multiple modes of transportation. Very knowledgeable about our destinations and passionate about their past and significance to the area and Japan Enjoyed a unique and delicious local lunch and the pace of the day was spot on landing at our hotel exactly on time . We woul highly reccomend Chizuru to any future visitors to Hiroshima or other surrounding cities. We count ourselves very lucky indeed to have shared our only day in Hiroshima with her Paul and Sam Tamaki
Hi Paul, thank you for your quick review. I appreciate the high evaluation and lots of complements. The tour with you and Sam will be one of the most memorable days of my tour in Hiroshima thanks to both the visiting date, exactly the next day of Super Golden Week and the beautiful weather. There weren’t many tourist in the both sites which are Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and Miyajima. I can hardly see such a wonderful view from the top of the mountain, “Mt. Misen”. The uphill to the rope-way stand was hard but it was worth trying. I’m happy I could help you have a wonderful day and make your visit Hiroshima memorable. Thank you Paul and Sam.
We arranged a day tour of Naoshima art island with Chizuru from Azamara Quest, which docked at Takamatsu. Chizuru is charming lady, superb tour guide and speaks excellent English. It was easy to detail our day via the Triplelights website beforehand. She met us on the island having given us clear instructions on which ferry to take as she came from elsewhere. We saw far more in Naoshima than we would have done on our own or on a ship’s tour. Chizuru knew the time of all the buses and location of all the stops and could also guide us to all the key sculptures and art houses tucked all around the island quickly. She also advised us to book tickets for the ChiChu Museum (one of the highlights) months earlier and advised us on the best time slot. (On the day we were there it was fully ... read more
Hi Mary, Thank you for your tour review. I appreciate your message with lots of complement and the high evaluation. you visited the island at the best timing, just before the art festival starts. There weren't so many people. So we could see all Art House Project. That is often impossible under the limited time. I'm glad to help you make one of the good memories of your visit to Japan. Thank you Mary!
She was excellent at organising where to go and how this should be undertaken. We used four different modes of transport, which included train, ferry, taxi, street car and shuttle bus. She was knowledgeable about time tables and modes of transport to maximise the experiences. We were able to ask extensive questions to aid our experience. She was obviously experienced and ensured that had a fulfilling itinerary with contrasting traditions. Would recommend.
Hi Liz, Thank you very much for the review of the tour in Hiroshima with a high evaluation and lots of complements. This moment is when I feel the happiest as a guide. I felt uneasy at the beginning of the tour because we were waiting in separate places. I was at the cruise ship port. You were at the train station. Thanks to your phone call, we were able to meet each other. After that everything went so smoothly. I could spend a great time with two of you. Thank you!
