He shown me around the major shrines, temples, smaller shrines and explained the history of each of them. Very friendly, very knowledgeable, and it was fun. Even took me to the Nintendo headquarters but to look from outside the gates, not to go inside(after all, it is a business). It was memorable. Thank you very much.
Thank you . Enjoy Japan!
We were a group of two families with kids. Toru showed us very interedting places in Kyoto. He did his best to make it easy and interesting also for the children. On the second day he took us to one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen to the mount Kurama. It was really wonderful experience. Toru is a great guide, very professional, patient and plesant. He knows a lot of interesting facts about the Japanese history and the places he guided us. Dear Toru, thank you for these wonderful days, hope to see you again some day. With love, Gruzdev@Paprany families
Thank you very much. I am sure that you have a good time in Japan. Please come back again.
Punctual, knowledged, good human knowledge of his clients, very flexible, Toru does everything he can to make sure you see what you have askes for.
Thank you for your appreciation. Enjoy your trip!
Toru guided us with expertise throughout Kyoto and Uji. We were showered with light rain throughout the day in Kyoto, which made the sights even more beautiful. Toru was flexible with our itinerary and accepted a last minute change to guide us in Uji to avoid the crowds in Kyoto. One of the highlights of Uji was the Byoden Myseum’s expansive collection of Buddhist carvings and relics. The commentary Toru provided regarding Japanese artifacts and history far exceeded our expectations. Overall, Toru crafted a very memorable experience for us in Kyoto and Uji.
Thank you very much. I enjoyed so much with you. Please come back again spring or fall season.
Toru was waiting for me at the appointed time in the lobby of my Osaka hotel. This was his suggestion as I was storing some luggage there for my return later in the week and he thought I may have trouble finding my Kyoto hotel, so he accompanied me there. We visited most of the prominent Buddha temples, Shinto shrines, Nijo-jo Castle, pagodas, gardens ( the Japanese maples were just turning and the colours were beautiful),bamboo forest, central area of city - Pontocho street, theatres, Gion area, and its geishas. Toru explained well the history of all the places we visited as well as explaining Japanese culture. With our late start, Toru went well over the normal tour time; he seemed happy to do this because of his enthusiasm in showing his home land. I had a a pleasant and very informa... read more
