Hi! My name is Keiko. I am a nationally licensed tour guide who loves meeting people from different countries and cultures. I was born in Hiroshima and have spent most of my life in my hometown, Hiroshima.
I have been working as a freelance tour guide since 2014. I have a passion and love for my job, with my commitment to make your visit memorable and fun. You will find me friendly, cheerful, flexible and knowledgeable. I love kids and and I am happy to be with them. I love guiding elderly people and I am happy to talk about Japanese history walking at an unhurried pace. Because of my 9-year career as an English teacher at elementary schools, I am good at guiding people whose native language is not English. I can use very simple and easy English in my guiding so that non-native English speakers can easily understand me.
Hiroshima is world famous for its sad memory of the atomic bomb. But at the same time, Hiroshima is a brilliant city where you can enjoy beautiful scenery on Miyajima shrine island, eating local foods and tasting Japanese sake. Why don't you have a memorable day in Miyajima shrine and peace park with me?
I hope my tours suit your interests. Please feel free to contact me for further information. I can customie my tour based on your needs and I will do my best, with Japanese spirit of hospitality, to make your tour comfortable and happy.
Thank you for visiting my profile and I look forward to welcoming you in Hiroshima!

Right from the very beginning when I contacted Keiko regarding the attractions I wanted to visit and the activities I wanted to see, Keiko patiently answered every question I had and offered valuable advice. When she brought us to the historical attractions such as the A-dome site, Kintaikyo Bridge and the Itsukushima Shrine, she always gave interestingly detailed information and made sure we had time to take lovely photos. Thank you so much for welcoming us warmly to Hiroshima and letting us feel at home, away from home! We really enjoyed these 4 days with you :D Eileen Singapore

She was an interesting, active, polite & eloquent tour guide. I will recommend Triple Lights to my family & friends who will need a tour guide in their journey to discover more of Japan.
Thank you, Vienna! We had a really great time in Hiroshima. This tour visits an educational peace park and a fun Miyajima island, which I think has a good balance. Glad to hear you liked it! May peace prevail in the whole world.
Keiko was amazingly knowledgeable right from the start. She connected straight away with our 12 year old son. Her guidance and knowledge of the history, culture and sights was faultless. We had a beautiful day on Miyajima- I would love to have her guide our whole trip in Japan.
Hello Jodi, Thank you for your review! I love kids and I really enjoyed everything he asked and talked to me. We talked a lot and laughed a lot together, which I believe will be a small piece of a peaceful world. Typhoon is approaching. Please stay safe and enjoy the rest of your stay in Japan!
Keiko was my guide in Miyajima and Hiroshima over 2 days. I had initially cancelled the week before as my costs travelling round Japan were mounting. I eventually decided to ask Keiko to be my guide again and it was the best decision. Keiko is a superb guide. She does her job well. She's full if knowledge, she navigates the city well and is very well organised. This is what one expects and she delivers. She guided me in Miyajima and I had what has been a standout experience. It was just magical. The Hiroshima your was also superb. The walk around the peace park was very moving and Keiko shared a lot of information that really brought it to life. The walk around the gardens was also very very good. What Keiko bribgs to being such a good guide is her genuine excitement about travel ... read more
Thank you Derin, I had really wonderful two days with you, too! Scenery was amazing, food was good, our conversation was so much fun, I will not forget this tour with you! Visit Japan again and see you again!!
I was very lucky to have such a kind and knowledge guide, she was very helpful in explaining everything in detail, her English iwas perfect, she assisted me in taking as many pictures as I wished, the day was raining, nevertheless she made every effort that I don’t get wet. At the end of the tour, she took me to the railway station and made sure that I don’t miss my train back to Tokyo. I consider Keiko to be the perfect asset for Triplights.
Thank you for your warm message, Hasan. It was really a great day for me, too. We talked a lot and exchanged our opinions a lot, which I enjoyed very much. And I am sure this will be a small piece of a better world. May peace prevail all over the world!
