Mitsuru was very careful when planning our visit, and made sure we got exactly the experience we wanted from Tokyo, with the right balance of tourist hotspots and local finds. His patience when explaining local habits and teaching us how to ride the tube were the reason we were able to get around the rest of the country, and his impecable guidance made it able for us to cover all of Tokyo in the little time we had with him. We would strongly recommend him to anyone looking for a fun and educational experience in Tokyo. Thank you Mitsuru, we hope to see you again soon!
Hey Catarina!! You & Andre have such a great vibe and I enjoyed a lot introducting Tokyo to you guys! Thanks for trusting on my recommendations plus being your new friend on IG. I am also glad that you spent awesome time in multiple cities in Japan and that my tips were useful during your stay. Thanks for your cooperation and support to our people. Considering this global pandemic, Japan still has not so many cases of covid-19, but Tours in Japan or anywhere in the world may take time from now on. So, I am sure you guys were very lucky and took the right decision, on the right time. Stay safe and healthy, so we will be able to meet again soon here or who know in São Paulo!! Super obrigado e abraços!! ?
We had the pleasure of spending two separate days with Mitsuru. He was the best guide we could have asked for. We initially booked him for the day after we arrived to show us around Tokyo, but more importantly to teach us how to get around. He met us at our hotel, and we immediately felt comfortable with him. He showed us not only how to use the subway, but what all the signs meant, what to look for, and how to top up our cards when needed. By the end of the day, we had not only seen many sights, learnt a lot of history, learnt many customs, but most importantly felt comfortable getting around on our own. He also engaged well with the kids (Aged 19, 17, & 11) and made them all feel comfortable and happy to ask questions. We then booked Mitsuru to take us on a day trip to see Mt Fuji.... read more
Hey Cass, oh you guys are so easygoing.. cheers Aussies!! Since the 1st contact with Andrew, I could fell we were all going to spend a great time! Thanks for trusting on my recommendation for both Tokyo and Hakone! We really had so much fun in both days!! Remember the waitress in Tokyo? She took tons of pics and only one was good! ?, on the other hand the waitress in Hakone took us the best pic of our days!! Btw, Hakone day was also so nice, covered by snow everywhere and we couldn’t take better pics!! Especially at Mt. Owakudani and around the lake, where you guys quickly found a great similarity with Queenstown in NZ! Ah, not to mention of throwing snowballs, OMG I miss Jack! ?. It was great for me to customize this tour, showing you guys how to get bullet train from the crowded Tokyo st... read more
Mitsuru took us on the most wonderful tour of Tokyo, he impressively navigated us around on a rainy day and tweaked the plan to accommodate the wet weather, delivering us a spectacular day full of culture, food and fun. We were so impressed with how he found something for each of us, which is pretty amazing when you have two adults and three children aged 13yr, 10yr and 7yr! Each one of us found something so special from the day. Was particularly impressed with Mitsuru who learnt my husband was a chef so took him to an amazing food hall that was an absolute delight. We learnt so much from Mitsuru, about Edo, I loved our trip to Ryojuku and particularly the Sake vending machines :) without his help we would not have been so confident on the trains for our remaining days! We would not... read more
Angeee, thank you!!!!! It was really an awesome day for me! What a wonderful family you have.. I enjoyed all the moments we spent together, including seeing Castor having fun at Pokemon store, please say your boys that I envy their hair style and I wish I could have a similar one when I was in their age! :) Benn, wish you success on your business!! Yeah, Ange.. sake tasting is always fun too, kanpai! Cheers! ? Hope to visit your area some day and hopefully to learn something about wine with Benn and definitely try some great dishes from your restaurant! Please come to Japan again and let’s visit other areas, including some off the beaten path, like you region in the beautiful countryside of NSW ?! I am already following you guys on IG.. Hugs and thanks a lot again!! Mitsuru Japan
Mitsuru was a joy to be with. I would highly recommend his tour and encourage you to tell him what you want to see and he will customize the day for you. He has an easy going, relaxed vibe and his english is fluent. 5 stars all the way.
Hi Mike!! Thank you very much for your words! Not that fluent, but I learn a lot from easy going people like you & Lisa.. Fortunately it was a sunny day and not like those too hot days of the last summer you were here! Hah.. Please take care and I am waiting for you and Lisa again to explore others regions around the archipelago!! Hugs, Mitsuru Japan
Mitsuru is really an excellent guide!!! Everything was tailored to perfection! He did tour with exact time tables and we got to see the most possible!!! Speaks both English and Spanish and is a very caring human being and also fun! Our tour was a total five star experience!!!
Querida Ana, you & Nito are always welcome!! You guys are so well traveled and still can find the beauty in every situation and even in small things like Japanese sandwich! ? Just ? it! I really appreciate that you realizedthe tour to KAMAKURA was tailored and YOKOHAMA was a plus, due to your plans to Kyoto. Next please enjoy Kansai and I will see you soon in the near future! ¡Muchas gracias por todo! ?
G’day Donald & David! Thanks again.. you guys are goood too! ?
I booked Mitsuru to do exactly what he provided and then some! We talked several times via email and turned out great. I asked to get familiar with the train lines, get Suica cards, see points of interest around our hotel area and help me redeem my U2 tickets at 7-11. He had a great personality and my family and I enjoyed every minute. It was a downpour of rain that day and we just adapted around it. I feel like we gained a new friend that day and would have gladly spent more time with Mitsuru.
Lisaa, thank you so much! I also enjoyed our day trip with you and the “kids”, lol.. very impressed how active you are and how much you love U2 shows, your “Disneyland” ? .. yes, all went well cause you asked in advance! ? I am sure you enjoyed the show at the Saitama Arena and hope you come back soon my friend, hopefully in a sunny day, although I really love your way of thinking “it is what it is”, instead of “OMG”!! By the way, I hope kids enjoyed the real Disney as well :) Hugs and regards to all you guys, Mitsuru Japan
We had the pleasure of spending a whole day with Mitsuru. We visited several exciting sites and had some great meals together. I would (and already have) recommend Mitsuru to friends.
Hi Stian, it was very nice to guide you guys from so far away! Thanks a lot for your coming to Japan and all F&B, aperol spritz at the new Shibuya Sky was very cool! See you again here or in NORWAY.. by the way, good lucky friend! ;-)
With a limited time (3 days) in Tokyo, I was incredibly fortunate to have Mitsuru as a guide. Prior to meeting, we communicated about putting together a custom tour to learn about both the historic and new aspects of Tokyo. Mitsuru appeared on time with a planned itinerary to show my girlfriend and I the Nehonbashi Bridge as the center of Edo, and explained the historical significance of the nearby markets. We attended a department store opening to welcome its customers, a sake tasting, a cruise in Tokyo bay, fashion boutiques, samurai gardens, sumo stables, the 2020 Olympic site, and much more to learn about Tokyo past-to-present, hopping around via the metro. I definitely recommend having a 24-hour metro pass to make the most of your time. Mitsuru happily answered any question and was ex... read more
Dear Jeremy, I am really glad that you & Victoria enjoyed those days in Tokyo.. I feel lucky for attracting nice couples like you guys! You are very active and young, so I thought metro could be a good way to explore the city. Tokyo is very challenger city and for each type of visitor, there is a right mean of transportation, right spots to be visited etc. So, thank you for letting me know your preferences, physical condition and interests, then I could plan and customized your tour accordingly! Thanks for the nomination Tokyo’s ambassador ?.. If you have a chance, please come again and let’s visit others parts of Japan! Thank you so much and see you guys again here or in PA! Hugs, Mitsuru Japan
Mitsuru was an absolutely fantastic tour guide. He took time to customize our agenda in Hakone for the day based on our requests, and along the way took time to explain each area we visited all with the perfect balance of culture, history and conversation. He has a great personality and was also thoughtful enough to help us pick out authentic souvenirs for our family before the day was up, as well as to recommend additional things for us to do while in Tokyo. Highly recommend Mitsuru!
Hi David! Yes, this tour was well planned since typhoon Hagibis really damaged Hakone and as for now, the main transit area (Tozan train from/to Gora > Hakone Yumoto Sta) is still under reparations. All went pretty well, taxi, bullet trains, locals transportation etc!! Thank you for your cooperation and understanding! It was a great day for me too! I am waiting for you and Denise in the near future to show others parts of Japan! Please take care and hugs from Tokyo, Mitsuru
“We wish we could have had Mitsuru with us everyday in Tokyo. He is a wonderful tour guide and the next time we’re in Tokyo, we will definitely request his services again. Five Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️” “He did a wonderful job showing us how to get around in Tokyo and most importantly, how to interact with shop and restaurant owners/workers. We felt ready to conquer Tokyo after our day long tour with our amazing guide Mitsuru. ??” Most importantly he met us at our AirBnb!
Dear Mrs. LaValle, thank you for the 5 stars and your kind comments!! :) I enjoyed to guide you, Tsu (lol) and Lisa and I liked your travel style with no hurry, whatever time allow us to do! Let’s enjoy the present moment, this is more important than itinerary or destination, right?! Thank you for your cooperation and really hope to guide you guys again in others cities in Japan! Cheers, Mitsuru
Mitsuru’s attention to detail, flexibility, knowledge and amiable personality make him an outstanding guide. I wanted to see some of Tokyo’s highlights in one day, and Mitsuru exceeded my expectations. He navigated an unfamiliar city and showed me many different characteristics of Tokyo. One day became a lifetime of good memories.
Dear Brian, it was a pleasure to show you things found only in big cities!! Especially after 1 week of cultural exchange spent in a fish town of the country, I could imagine what things you’d want to see and what food you’d be excited to eat! ? Hope to see you again here or in DC!! Hugs from Tokyo, Mitsuru
Mitsu was a very agreeable guide, anxious to make sure we saw what we were interested in seeing. We were going to Nikko one day and had a day in Tokyo by ourselves. He spent a lot of time making sure we were comfortable traveling by ourselves. Highly recommend!
Dear Carolyn, thank you for your great comment :) I am glad that you had wonderful time in our day tour of Tokyo! Yes, I was really worried about your trip to Nikko, since it is far and not so easy for first timers, couple of important transfers to be done on time and you had no access to internet!! ? Anyways, thank you very much and all the best!! :)
We arranged for Mitsuru to guide us in Tokyo due to limited time in the city and to make sure we made the most of our day. We was on a cruise and so only had 9 hours to see the key sights of the city. Mitsuru met us in Yokohama where our ship docked and guided us around using the Metro system and by walking where possible (which was our choice!). He had a prepaid card to use on the Metro system for us to use which meant that using the transport was easy during the day. He had produced a suggested tour but had options for us so that we could choose what to do. We covered the key sights as expected, had some great food in a teppanyaki restaurant and had fun at the Cat Cafe. Mitsuru was friendly, informative and punctual and a real joy to spend the day with. We had a great day in... read more
Dear David, I also had fun guiding you and Bozina! Definitely, cat cafe was really cool, especially we went there coincidentally on their dinner time! ? I wish we could have more time to show you some others nice spots of Tokyo, but our time was tight to take the risk to miss your cruise to Shanghai! I am glad that you saw the expected key spots and enjoyed the teppanyaki dinner! ? Please come to spend more time in Japan next time! Looking forward to meet you guys here or in UK! Hugs and thanks a lot again! Mitsuru Japan
Before my brother and I travel someplace new we always try to do our homework. Despite our best efforts, we found ourselves making rookie mistakes basically upon arrival. Thankfully our past selves had the brilliant idea to hire Mitsuru. On the first real day of our trip, Mitsuru gave us a succinct crash course tour of Tokyo. We covered various places of interest as well as basic navigational tips that greatly benefitted us all the days that followed. The metro seemed daunting to an outsider but after Mitsuru thoroughly helped/showed us, every time we stepped on a train we felt like pros. The tip about various discounts for foreign passports saved us a lot on our Shinkansen tickets to Kyoto. In my opinion, Mitsuru went beyond what was expected when it came to helping us out. On top of ever... read more
Dear Rachele and Nick, thank you very much for writing me such a wonderful review!! I like to see how you and Nick are close, great siblings! :) It was awesome guiding you guys and I was so impressed with the excellent homework you did! But yeah, although we spend a lot of time studying things about our travel destinations, it is always not enough.. surely helps a lot, but in practice, things can be different. In the case of TOKYO, things change every single day, especially due to the Olympic Games 2020. Every time I walk around Shibuya Ward, scenarios are different, it’s unbelievable how fast we can change the city’s geography.. I also hire local guides when I travel abroad and this is so convenient these days.. Different cultures, systems, languages, values and point of views that enrich... read more
We spent a full day with Mitsuru touring Tokyo. We also hired a van and driver for the tour which was excellent. Matsuru did a great job! He knows Tokyo extremely well, including the history, but more importantly he is clearly proud of and passionate about both Tokyo and Japan. He speaks great English which makes it all easy. I can’t recommend Mitsuru enough - as well as a great guide he’s a great guy!
G’day Mike! It was awesome to guide you, Irene, Jenny and Bob! What a multicultural group.. Also, private van service that you hired was soo convenient, especially during some rainy moments and to pick us up at the pier in the other side of Tokyo Bay! Yes, I love Tokyo and Japan from Hokkaido to Okinawa, but also NZL, Korea, USA and AUS, especially Queensland lol. I know this is reciprocal, since this was not the 1st time in Japan for you guys! Hope you can enjoy the rest of your stay, including RUGBY matches, bronze and the final at the massive International Stadium Yokohama. Thanks for everything and cheers Wallabies and All Blacks!! Please don’t hesitate to contact me in the near future! Hugs and all the best, Mitsuru Japan
It was a Pleasure to spend time with Mitsuru. He spoke very good English, very knowledgeable, flexible and prompt. He also helped us to navigate through Tokyo alone on our off days. He educated us & gave us tips on how to use the train system. He was just GREAT! We HIGHLY recommend Misuru. We look forward to seeing him on our next visit. A genuine and pleasant person to spend a few days with.
DEAR Roberta & Hass, it was my PLEASURE to spent some days with you, wonderful couple and full of things to talk about! Thank you for trusting in my ideas, everything flowed perfectly and time flew! KYOTO, the ancient capital is always a great option when we have rainy days in Kanto area (Tokyo, Hakone, Fuji..). Thanks HASS for your book recommendation, very interesting and I hope to have time to read it some day, on the other hand, try Ikigai! ? ROBERTA, I heard form someone that you did a lot of shopping in Shinjuku, it was your day! ? Cheers and thanks a lot for everything! Really hope to see you again in the near future! Hugs, MITSURU JAPAN
Family of 4 with two teenage boys and 1st time to Tokyo. Mitsuru showed us around some great sites targeting things of interest for our teenage boys. We saw things that we never would have by ourselves. His navigation of the transport system was top class. We all had a wonderful day. I would recommend Mitsuru very very highly.
Hey Stuart, we had two great days and ? Hagibis in between! Fortunately, we managed everything in the name of our safety! ? Thank you very much for your cooperation! Also you made a good decision moving to Roppongi area. This let Tara and kids more relaxed and all you need nearby. As for Rugby, no Sakuras, no Wallabies, even neither All Blacks, we will see!! ? Cheers and thanks a lot again! Mitsuru
Mitsuru was the perfect guide. He met my boyfriend and I at our hotel at 9am. He even checked in that morning to see if that time was still ok for us. When we met in the lobby, he pulled out a planner binder and showed us a map of Tokyo. He reviewed all the things we wanted to see and did a quick recap of everything we were visiting and confirmed the types of transportation we were comfortable with. We were excited to use the public transportation system but was happy to be advised when taxing was the best time option. We visited Tokyo station, double bridges at Imperial Palace, a brief stop at Tokyo Tower, Zojoji Temple, Nihonbashi Bridge. Nakaima Dori, Senso-ji Temple, Asakusa Beer Hall, Hachiko Statue and many more before he returned us to our hotel. He gave us so much informatio... read more
Aloha Joslyn! Thank you so much for such a kind comments!! I am very glad when clients notice how much efforts are put into the customized tour preparation. Yes, Tokyo’s public transportation system is massive, complex and efficient! Sometimes requires some long distance walking, so in such as case, I recommend taxi or others means of transportation to make your day more productive and less tiring. Also glad to see your excitement along the tour all the way! I hope this has been your first of many others future visits to Japan. From Hokkaido to Okinawa, so many different landscapes, culture etc!! Thank you guys for your cooperation before and during the tour. I see you guys again some day by here or on the Pacific, Mahalo!!! ☀️??
Mitsuru was the guide for my 12 year old son while we were in Japan. I had business two days so we were looking for a guide to show my son the sights while I was working (two days). My son has a strong interest in Japanese culture, architecture, and history. Mitsuru was a perfect choice for this. He was punctual, had great suggestions and my son got along with him very well. At the end of each day my son would comment about how much he learned and how well he got along with Mitsuru He knows all the best spots and is not shy about "rejecting" some of the ones I brought up from the tour books as he had much better suggestions! I'm glad he overrode me! I would recommend Mitsuru, and if I'm ever fortunate enough to visit Japan again, I will look up Mitsuru!
Hi Ryan, tour with Will was fantastic.. oh god, what a nice and intelligent boy! Never met a kid with such a strong interest on Japanese culture. I am glad that he enjoyed everything, from cool things for a 12yo boy, The Gundam Base, mangas, comics in English, Digital Museum.. to Japanese samurai’s history, gastronomy, gardens, ride the bullet train, pirate ship etc. We really had 2 awesome days in Tokyo and Hakone town!! I am sure you also spent memorable days with him at Tokyo Dome, Sumo Tournament etc.. this is the kind of trip that will definitely add value on his adult life. Please regards to him.. Thank you for everything and hope you can come again with all your family in the future! Hugs from Mitsuru Japan
A great way to see Tokyo. Mitsuru really knows the city and creates a personalised tour to make sure you see the things that interest you in a hassle free way. Highly recommended
Hello Davies! It was a pleasure to tour with you and your colleagues. I am glad that the customized itinerary have pleased you guys! Thank you for your cooperation and hope to see you guys in the near future. Thanks a lot! Mitsuru
For my parents was a very nice expirience
Oh, thanks Maria.. Your parents are wonderful!! Wish next time they could have a chance to fully enjoy the city. All the best, Mitsuru Japan
Abrazos, Mitsuru Japan
He was already during our preplanning very helpful. He was on time in our Hotellobby, showed us around the hotel interesting things( old shows, sake shops, elegant departmentalized, measurepoint under bridge and explained a lot historic details like Edo and others. Then he guided us sadly through the Tokyo Metrosystem to Waseda University, where I wanted register for a Congress. Due to the poor organization we could not find the right place but Mitsuru could find it after an hour finally. After such a stressfull search in the heat we needed a lunch. He accompanied us and bilingual he spoke in Portugese with my friend Bruno and in English with me. So we had a delightful and interesting day. Hallo Gregor, what a honor to have guided you and Bruno!! You were my first Austrian client and it was an excellent experience.. Despite I could not provide the tour you deserved, I am very glad to get such a great review from you. I did my best, but I am very sorry about Waseda’s poor organization for this level of international congress and under a 35 degree heat walking around different campuses, it seemed too long. Surprisingly, today was an unusual day tour for me. I appreciated your decision in spending the rest of the day, having a awesome lunch, kakigori (wow, that one was great!), coffee and mainly, a great conversation!! Very impressed with your knowledge of different cultures, countries.. so, I also learned a lot from you and hope to meet you guys again here or in Europe some da... read more

Good morning Matt and thanks for your comments!! it was just great guiding you guys! “Kids” and Gina are funny and I enjoyed your easygoing personality, which also makes things easier! Ah, please thanks Gina for her Insta advices on the way back from Hakone. Sorry for the weather, next time we can visit Kawaguchi-ko area and hopefully seeing Mt. Fuji! Please have fun at snow monkey park and keep in touch!! Hugs, Mitsuru
We enjoyed a customised tour of Tokyo with Mitsuru for 4 hours. He met us at our hotel and took us on our way. Mitsuru is knowledgeable and very polite. He provided us with a folder detailing a history of Japan including maps and and points of interest - this was very helpful and a great reference for us after we finished our tour. It was a great morning and it was a good introduction into Tokyo. If you are customising your tour be sure to give Mitsuru a good understanding of what you want to do as there is so much to see.
G’day James & George! Thanks for your comments! Lynne did a great job arranging this tour with me and comfort pack. Thanks to her we could spent a short, but wonderful time at a couple of historical sites. As you said, there are so much to see in Tokyo. Please allow you at least 3 days in Tokyo in the next year! Looking forward to meet all your family in Tokyo 2020! Thank you so much! Cheers from Tokyo!
My wife and I had a layover in Tokyo on our way back from Bali. We had about 10 hours which is not much time. Instead of just staying at the airport the whole time, we decided to try and see as much of Tokyo as we could. I contracted Mitsuru, who helped us plan down to minute a short tour of the city. He picked us up straight from the airport terminal and ran (sometimes literally) to a few landmarks. A few hours later we were back at the airport with some wonderful pictures and a better understanding of what Tokyo is all about. I highly recommend Mitsuru. Without him, there is no way we would have been able ton6see as much as we did in such a drastically short amount of time.
Hey Travis!! Oh yeah, we ran a couple of times to not miss a train I guess! Haha.. I only do that with people full of adrenaline like you & Angela! Layover from Narita is actually one of my favorite tours.. travelers from Southeast Asia have not so many expectations, it all up to me, I am on the control of the time etc and at the end, we finish seeing a lot of spots. But as I said, this is not for any visitor!! I really enjoyed doing my work with you guys. Thanks for adding me on your SNS and do hope you choose to spend you next holiday in Japan.. from Hokkaido to Okinawa, Japan is awaiting for you and Angela! Hugs from Tokyo, Mitsuru
Incredibly helpful, great communicator, wonderful personality.
Dear Jason, thank you for such as kind words. What a honor to have guided you guys! Very impressed with your humbleness. Hugs, Mitsuru
Mitsuru was an amazing guide in Tokyo. We did two days with him and hit all the major sights. Very organized, professional, excellent English. Couldn't recommend more highly.
Hi Jay, I enjoyed a lot guiding you and Maggie! As I said, you couldn’t give a better 10 years old present! She will take it forever.. just priceless! By the way, we really did a lot in only 2 days, one of them under heavy rain, even so, no problem for super Maggie, the little girl who loves rain! :) Say hi to her please! Hope you can come again with the entire family! Thanks a lot! Mitsuru - Japan
Our group of 2 middle aged couples just returned from Japan having spent 3 wonderful days with Mitsuro. We are all well traveled but this was our first visit to Japan. Mitsuro was friendly, professional and knowledgeable as he helped endear us to Tokyo and Hakone. He became our friend during these three days and tremendously added to our experience. His primary language is listed as Portuguese as he spent much of his life in Brazil (which has the largest concentration of Japanese outside of Japan) yet his command of both English and Japanese is second to none. If you use Mitsuro as your Tokyo/Hakone guide you will be rewarded with a truly exceptional experience.
Hey Miles, it was 3 spectacular days thanks to you guys!! I enjoyed your group and your easygoing personality and all the days we spent together both in Tokyo and Hakone. It was cool seeing Kate trying to talk with a girl in the train and that pic with the sumo wrestlers! Haha.. Although Mt. Fuji was hidden, the tour to the small town of Kanagawa is always nice. Hope to see you again here or in Florida. Thank you so much Miles and warm regards to all you guys!! Mitsuru
My family of four had a great day with Mitsuru. He kept us moving, but we never feel rushed. We had a great overview of the city and we saw so many places on our ‘must see’ list. Hire him and you won’t be disappointed. My 19 & 22 year old kids really liked his easy going personality. Thank you for everything!
Hello Jennifer!! I also enjoyed guiding you guys in different places around Tokyo. I hope you have visited everything from your list, including Nara, Kyoto etc. Hope your kids can come to Japan again in the near future! Thanks a lot and all the best, Mitsuru - Japan
From the first time we met Mitsuru in our hotel lobby we we're greeted with his big smile and a positive attitude. Our 2 days of touring were absolutely enjoyable and seamless. We highly suggest you tour with Mitsuru.
Dear Myra & Phil.. It was a great pleasure for me to have met you guys! 1st day in Hakone was all according to your request and the day trip to a heavy rainy Nikko, became a day trip to a sunny Nara, which was simply amazing and I got very glad that you have accepted this idea! At least it was hundred times more enjoyable! Haha.. I do appreciate the way you guys enjoy travelling and I feel honored with your invitation and advices! I do hope to be able to see you in TX, CO or CA. See you! ;-)
Mitsuru picked us at the cruiseship and started our special Tour for 2 persons by taxi , as we are not so good in walking. He showed us many interesting places, shops, Cafés, eateries and an artgalerie. We Bad two perfect days,
Hallo Eva & Thomas! It was a pleasure to have guide you guys for 2 days in some of the coolest places in Tokyo and after having visited many Japanese coastal cities. Tokyo is a big city and unique, especially when it comes to new trendies, modern art, fashion, architecture etc.. so, I think it was something that you and especially Thomas were looking for! Danke and hope to see you guys again!
We spent half a day with Mitsuru touring a few places in Tokyo. He was so attentive and helpful in making our requests happen, and such a nice and friendly person in general! I highly recommend Mitsuru
Dear Warren, thank you so much and it was a pleasure to be part of this layover. I think everyone should do the same instead of waiting for hours at Narita airport for the following flight. It was really an overview, so please if you have a chance, come again with your family to see and enjoy Tokyo and so many other beautiful places all over Japan! Take care, Mitsuru
What a great all day tour! Mitsuru met us promptly at our hotel at 10 am. We were off on an all day metro and walking tour of Tokyo. We went to both the east (Imperial Plaza) and west side (Shibuya Crossing) of Tokyo. Mitsuru did a great job at going to our pace and taking breaks when needed (we ended with close to 30,000 steps that day). We stopped for lunch at a ramen restaurant, so tasty! He did a great job at filling us in on some of the history and traditions of Tokyo. We had a great day and so glad we had Mitsuru to show us around. We would not hesitate to hire Mitsuru when we return to Tokyo again!
Dear Joline, thanks for your great review! Yes, we did a lot thanks to your physical condition, nice sunny day and interest to visit as many places as possible in Tokyo.. I hope you had spent nice days back to Disney Resort as well. Please come again in the future, maybe to experience Fuji-Q highland, Osaka Universal Studio or the Tohoku region to see Fuji apple or even the most beautiful cherry blossoms in Hirosaki city! On the other hand, hope to see blueberries in your region one day. Kind regards, Mitsuru
We had a good experience with Mitsuru, he has a good attitude, very helpful and willing to adjust to our needs. Good Spanish as well
Vale Antonio, thank you for your good review.. hope this little tour could have given you some an overview of Tokyo. Saludos, Mitsuru
I booked the tour with Mitsuru for my parents and their friends, they had the best time and loved everything about this trip. Mitsuru is very kind and helpful. He would explain to me everything they would do during their time together, so I wouldn’t be worried about not being there with them. Recommend Mitsuru 100%!
Querida Sarah, we definitely spent such as wonderful days in Tokyo, Mt. Fuji, Hakone, Kyoto and Nara!! Thank you so much for trusting on me, since I couldn’t make an itinerary before you book me.. between March and May, as we talked, I was guiding in different cities in Japan, from Okinawa to Aomori and Hakodate..Thanks to you, your parents & friends was able to see all those beautiful cherry blossoms, the Japanese culture, lifestyle and everything you had experience in the past. As I said to Glad and Emilio, I’ll see you guys one day in RS and let’s have an authentic churrasco gaúcho together!! Grazie mille ;-)
From A-Z - everything you can ask for from a Tour Guide and MUCH MORE! Mitsuru became a friend through our trip together. We learned so much from him about Japan and he was very flexible with our schedule as well as the things we wanted to do. Mitsuru did a great job with our kids and they enjoyed seeing him every single day! For our 1st trip so far away from home, Mitsuru made it extremely easy for our family and was genuinely concerned for what we wanted to do and followed our agenda. He put together an easy and extremely well thought out itinerary for our trip! We HIGHLY recommend him to anyone looking to tour Tokyo and especially those with kids! Mitsuru, we want to take this chance to thank you for everything you did for us and we look forward to booking you in our future adventures i... read more
Dear Raymond & family, first of all.. sorry for such as late feedback! I can’t thank you enough for all those days we spent together around Rayden’s birthday! Junior & Rayden are smart little boys and was fantastic to see them enjoying all animals at Ueno Zoo, theme cafes, Aquarium besides Ferris wheel, parks, playground etc. I learned a lot from you too.. California is definitely on my list and hope to see you guys again in the future! Hope your business can grow more and more, reaching worldwide markets, since your product is a great idea and I am sure it will.. your employees should work for you because you see them as part of a family and that makes a huge difference. Our tour with Mitsuru was excellent. A half day tour covering a lot of the east side of Tokyo - we went to areas and experienced things that we wouldn't have done or found on our own. He was really helpful with recommendations (especially how to find vegetarian restaurants), tips for the area around the hotel we were staying at and how to use the subway and local trains and he maintained the tour at a pace that worked for us. His suggestion that we cover Asakusa and Ueno on our own time was really good (it was very easy to do on our own). I can't recommend Mitsuru highly enough! Thank you for the tour it was fantastic!
Hi Sally, everything was excellent thanks to your cooperation and trusting! When customers come up here with this kind of feeling, all comes out! Thanks and hope to see you guys again!! Mitsuru
We had a wonderful day with Mitsuru in Tokyo. We wanted a guide for our first full day in Japan as all but one of our five member family had never been to Asia. Mitsuru was so nice and very knowledgeable about Japan and Tokyo. He took us on and off the subway to all corners of Tokyo. Most importantly, he showed us how to purchase tickets for the subways and walked us through the process of getting Bullet Train tickets as well. We were so well prepared after our day with Mitsuru that we navigated our way through Kyoto and Tokyo by ourselves for the next nine days nearly flawlessly. I truly believe that we would have floundered for days and wasted our precious time in Japan had we not had the opportunity to spend our first day with Mitsuru.
Hello Cynthia, thanks a lot and I am very glad to hear that you could transit between multiple Japanese cities stress free.. logistics is the vital part of any trip! At the end, we did more places than expected! Cheers and hope to see you, Toivo & kids again.. maybe here or in MA! :)
Very accommodating to our wanting to stop and see/do things.
Dear Carmela, that was only the very first day of 5 in multiple cities in Japan! Surprisingly winter is the best season to look on Mt. Fuji, sky is so clear and the white snow makes all difference!! As you usually say: that’s a fact! Haha.. it was a great pleasure to have spent part of your long global holiday with you and Manny. Please come with your grandchildren next time.. let’s do Hokkaido up to Okinawa.. cheers!!
Mitsuru was very flexible and attuned to our preferences and time schedule. With 2 teenagers finding great things for them as well like coffee with our photo imprinted in the chocolate, best grilled tuna sticks at the fish market and a view on the shibuya crossing from an observer deck. We could have never seen and done so much in one day! He was kind, efficient and very nice company speaking fluent english and very knowledgable. Arranged our metro passes beforehand all well thought through! I highly recommend Mitsuru!
Hi Sara, thank you for your comments. It was great to have guided my first Dutch family!! Japan and the Netherlands has over 400 years relationship history and we learn so many things from you guys.. from architecture to medicine!! Very glad to see kids enjoying all things from Harajuku & Ginza (specially Itoya's stuffs!). Also you and Oene enjoying fine crafts around Aoyama, Nezu Garden & Omotesando area. Please come again next year to see the Olympic Games - Tokyo 2020. Thank you so much and see you guys! :)
Mitsuru has such a warm personality and is a highly motivated tour guide! Also honest and considerate. Even assisted us after the tour ended and accommodated all our last minute requests with a smile. He doubles as a great photographer and choreographer as well! Thank you so much for the wonderful experience!
Hey Nadia!! Thank you for your kind words. I was so impressed about how you and all your family members are fluent in English, pretty much like a native.. hope to get there one day!! It was a great day in Mt. Fuji area and a nice experience for me to pick you guys up in that small town of Shizuoka Pref. Bthe way, very nice Airbnb! Please say hello to all your family!! Kind regards, Mitsuru
Golan, thanks a lot for the chance to have guided you! Do come again next time with your family to tour around Kanto, Kansai and Okinawa.. or if you prefer, why not Floripa or F. Noronha! Cheers!!
I had a 12 hour layover in Tokyo, and rather than spend it in the airport, I spent the day with Mitsuru. He and I communicated before I arrived about what kinds of things I thought I'd like to see, but I left the itinerary in Mitsuru's hands. And he did an AMAZING job. I literally saw Tokyo from the fish market to the royal palace grounds, famous Shibuya pedestrian intersection (check it out on YouTube) and parks, Kabuki theater, this cool temple for seeking blessings for your business, the Tokyo station, Nissan HQ (OMG you won't believe the macha latte) and a skyscraper view of the city. Ending with the absolute best sushi I have ever had in my life - and I am a sushi snob. Truly it was a perfect day, and Mitsuru was incredible. He designed a well thought-out day, had boundless en... read more
Hi Elizabeth!! It was really a perfect day and can’t thank you enough for your trusting and for your collaboration, taking in consideration your previous flight, you were full of energy!! Hence all worked out perfectly! Thanks for sharing your travels experiences around southeast Asia too! That might be my next holiday trip! Yeah, sushi was so yummy! :) And at least, after lots of walking, stairs, metro transfers, bus etc you were exhausted and probably could have a good rest on your next flight back to the US! Please come again to visit other regions of Japan. We have so many beautiful and interesting areas to explore!! Take care, Mitsuru
We had a fabulous day .family of five with funds age 19-16 who though getting a guide might be a bit naff ...but mitsuru was so easy to be around. Shared some interesting info but mostly helped us find a more authentic Japanese tokyo experience than we ever could have in our own Money well spent Highly recommend mitsuru
G'day Miriam! Very happy to see you enjoyed my tour! I always have fun with Aussies.. so much in common! :) All you guys were so easygoing and flexible since the hotel, so we could visit many places thanks to your cooperation. The last part, ferry at night to return to Tokyo was possibly the most beautiful scene, just perfect! Well, see you guys one day by here or in NSW, cheers!!
We had a very enjoyable and comfortable experience. I would definitely book again or recommend to anyone
Hi Shilash! I enjoyed a lot to take you guys to see Fuji-san.. I hope you can come again with more time next time, then let's visit the Yamanashi Pref. side. Glad to see you enjoyed shinkansen experience as well.. thank you and see you guys again!!
Mitsuru did an excellent job on our busy full day Tokyo tour. We managed to cover the majority of locations/items that we wanted to see, despite being difficult. We were very impressed with his organization and planning for our tour. It seemed like we arrived at just the right time to get a memorable experience and some amazing pictures. . He also did an excellent job at preparing us with tips and advice for the rest of our trip. Thanks Mitsuru!
Hi Ashley, thanks a lot for the nice review!! It was great to meet you and Matt.. I was really impressed with your planning and knowledge about the Japanese culture! You really studied a lot!!! Once again, congratulations for the 7 years wedding!! I am sure you enjoyed your multiple days in Japan and please come again in the future with your princess or let’s meet in Curitiba some day.. I am sure Matt will feel nostalgic!! Thank you Ashley!!
This was our first trip to Japan. We decided to just see Tokyo since we were here for only four days. Our first day here, Mitsuru showed us how to navigate the subway which was so helpful during our next three days. He showed us how us the JR, the monorail train and we even took a bus! He gave us a taste of Tokyo within 10 hours. He took us to shrines, gardens, parks, bridges, towers, a museum and recommended restaurants. We had a late lunch at a wonderful Ramen restaurant (I don’t remember the name) and it was so delicious. We are still talking about how good it was!! He showed us the traditions when entering a shrine so we knew what to do be respectful in this spiritual place. He took us to Mitsukoshi which a department store with opening ceremony which was so incredible! He showed us... read more
Hey Susan!! Oh, you guys are so easygoing.. cheers Florida!!! yeah, bus was not on the plan, but I realized how excited you guys were, that I thought, hey why not?! Let’s cover and explore the most and get used to all ways of transportation!! ;-) Next time, let’s experience tram around shitamachi!! Very glad to see you guys enjoying ramen in Harajuku! I think Natasha was dreaming with it when Jimmy took that funny pic inside the train. Thanks to trust on my recommendation and for your cooperation along the day!! Btw, I went to the Digital Museum and the new expo is further immersive!! At long last, an amazing day with so beautiful people! Please keep in touch for new adventures in or out of Tokyo!! Hope to see all your family again in the near future! Hugs from Mitsuru!!
We spent a wonderful and memorable day with Mitsuru touring Tokyo. We are a family of four with two boys ages 8 and 13. It is our first time in Japan and it was our first full day in Tokyo. From start to finish, Mitsuru was exceptional. We covered a lot of areas which was exactly what we wanted and started the day exploring the center of Tokyo from Nihombashi to Tokyo Station to the Imperial Bridge along with other places in between then, made our way down to explore the outer Tsukiji Fish Market and enjoy a delicious lunch and off to Odaiba on the monorail crossing the Rainbow Bridge to check out some great stores at the VenusFort mall, the Toyota Mega Web and the Trick Art Museum. Our 8 year old son struggled throughout the day because of our 14 hour time change and felt very badly by th... read more
Hi Rachel! I think I am so blessed to meet you guys.. very glad to see you enjoyed my company!! Thank you for your cooperation, for your kind review, for understanding my late feedback (many times)! Whenever we meet people like you guys, it’s just a pleasure to go an extra mile.. it’s like we are doing something to our friends, yeah thanks btw! Yeah, we did a lot and I think Moe is a very strong boy considering everything! It was so funny to see the two boys having fun with the pics we took at Trick Art!! :) Glad to see you have enjoyed the tour with my recommended guides all over Japan! Please come again and let me take you guys to Okinawa next time! ;-) Have a beautiful 2019!!
Misuru was attentive to our needs and was adaptable, flexible and always put our interests first. I travel with two young kids who enjoyed his company very much (he was great around kids, especially my young son who is not usually very friendly towards strangers, but took an instant liking to Mitsuru the moment he saw him). I also brought along my parents who are 60 plus years old and my mum gets tired at times from walking too much. Mitsuru always ensure she is ok and looked out for my parents whenever the situation gets crowded which happens very often especially in the metro station. We appreciate the fact that Mitsuru went the extra mile to look for halal eating places and prayer spaces for us and always checked on the restaurants the day before and make reservations. I can't thank enough to you and Fadzli for your cooperation and understanding that a couple of things didn't worked out as we expected.. thank you to consider and assess the tour as a whole!!
Muchas gracias y felicidades! :-)
We had such a special day. Everything was perfect. From the set up, communication and planning through to day itself where we managed to pack in so much. It was great to see and hear about each place and understand the history, background and stories. Mitsuru provided great overview, maps and guidance making everything easy and effortless. Mitsuru is a gentleman and we very much recommend him to everyone. Thank you.
Dear Matt & Louise, thanks a lot for your kind review! No Matt, if there is a gentleman.. definitely it's you! Not to mention you guys had attended Fuji Marathon in the previous day :-) We covered a lot thanks to your collaboration! It was so excited day and the Kimono photo session almost was going away!! By the way, I have seem all the pics and just can say you guys did great job! Well my friends, thanks again, it was a great pleasure to have met you!! Please, come to Japan again to visit other areas! See you guys, cheers!!
Narita, Tokyo, Mt. Fuji, Kamakura, Enoshima Island, Yokohama, Kyoto, Narita.. wow, we did a lot!! Ou devo dizer uai soh!! Haha..
Mitsuru is a kind gentleman who is flexible and timely. I reflected for several days on what rating to give him but after using other triple light guides in Japan, I decided 3 stars was appropriate. He met us at our hotel and was flexible to start earlier than discussed as we had jetlag (this was very kind of him). The things that bothered me is that he did not seem to know much about Japanese history-the other guides brought pamphlets and explained things extensively. I had a clear itinerary in mind and when I relayed it to him, I felt that he didn't want to see it through. I also felt that he wasn't listening to me in that we wanted to see certain landmarks like the imperial palace-he suggested that we do this ourselves so we don't waste our time with him. However, many website... read more
Hi Divya, thanks for your feedback. I took it to heart to improve my future tours. I am glad to know that you got what you expected from my colleagues. As had explained, Tokyo is a new and modern capital, very different comparing to Kyoto’s old capital. Sometimes, city tour is not simple, sorry we couldn’t see everything you wanted in 2 half days tour, including under renovation TMGB, fortunately we compensated the time. On the 2nd half day tour, as Imperial Palace takes long time to be covered, I could only suggested Seimon Bridge of the Palace plus a couple of spots.. hard decision, but glad for your family to have opted for the Great Buddha in Kamakura city at the end! Also I could learn a lot from Mr. Vish about India's history, culture and movies! Thank you guys and regards.
We spent half a day with Mitsuru visiting Tokyo and had a great time. Mitsuru arrived at our hotel on time and came ready with a proposed itinerary. We changed the itinerary throughout the day to adapt for our two daughters (age 5 and 7) and Mitsuru had good recommendations. Mitsuru was knowledgeable of the different sites and neighborhoods we visited. He contributed information as we were walking very naturally, not trying to share every single thing fact about a site or neighborhood. He also helped us get organized for our Tokyo and Kyoto (incl. helping us buy train tickets to go to Kyoto) which we were thankful for. Finally, our daughters loved him as he kept playing with them throughout the day which is always a big plus for us. We'll recommend Mitsuru tonfriends and family... read more
Hi Kote, thank you very much for your kind comments!! Could not be different.. your girls are so talkative and lovely.. Miri and Mehiti were specially so cute at Kawaii Monster Cafe watching Japanese cosplay show! :-) I got so glad to have met you guys and I just wished you could have more fun with them at your next destination. So, my Kyoto colleague sent me a couple of recommendations, so hopefully you had enjoyed the charming city of Kyoto! Thank you and see you again in Tokyo or in California one day!!
I had a great tour with Mitsuru! I would highly recommend him as a tour guide in Tokyo!
Hello Josh, thank you.. I enjoyed a lot chatting with you and give you an introduction of Tokyo city! Hope you can come next time on vacation with Allison.. Cheers!!
Mitsuru was a wonderful guide. We had well balanced days of busy tourist attractions, quiet local escapes and always lovely meals.
Dear Margaret, thank you so much for everything! We really spent a great time in Tokyo, Mt. Fuji and surrounding! Food could not be different! I wish you and Seamus also have enjoyed Kyushu Island tour. Please come again next year!.. cheers!!
Mitsuru met us at our hotel on time and we started our day right away. He was great with providing us information about using the subway and helped us with navigating the rest of our trips while in Japan. His tip to use a particular subway allowed us to travel during morning rush hour with our luggage without any issues and avoiding the Shinjuku station during that crazy time. We had a great time with Mitsuru and kids enjoyed their time with him. He kept us all engaged and made for a great day. It was a long day and we went over all pre-agreed time but he was willing to take us back to our hotel which was not necessary. Great time and hope to see him again. Thanks Mitsuru.
Dear Shane & family, thank you for the chance to have guided you guys! I got really impressed with Sophie and Nick.. amazing kids! They just reflect you & Maureen! Yes, Shinjuku station and surrounding is really insane, so many people, trains, passages etc. Hope you have enjoyed Hakone and all other Japanese cities! Thank you so much and God bless your beautiful family! Kind regards, Mitsuru
Our guide started the day by coming to our Airbnb which was very nice. We had an action packed yet relaxed day! His English was great and he was very friendly and informative. Worth every penny! I think everyone should start their trip with a guide and Mitsuru was wonderful!
Dear Janice, Johnny & Ema.. you guys are terrific!! I felt part of the family, typically Mediterranean!! Nice to hear you enjoyed Airbnb house in Nakano.. yeah, very quite area and at the same time not too far from downtown. I hope Tsukiji had gave you good inspiration for your restaurant and hope Ema can came here to experience some ski resort in the future! Thank you and take care!
Mitsuru was a wonderful guide and exceeded our expectations by far! Not only did he provide an excellent tour, he really taught us how to get around the city. We saw so many sights, it was incredible. He is patient, sensible and has great intuition. His English is excellent too. I highly recommend booking with him and cannot say enough nice things.
Dear Gray, you and your partner are so educated.. Thank you very much for such as kind review! I was very impressed with your photos from Naoshima! Hope to visit there in the near future. On the other hand, if you have a chance in the future, you should visit a “similar” open museum called Inhotim, make sure to have a couple of days, since it’s a huge attraction. Well, take care and be happy.. cheers!
Mitsuru has been such a responsive and all-out guide althroughout from the very first time we inquired up to the very end of our tour. Very professional, responded at once to every question and fetched us at our AirBnB place exactly on time and even taught us how to figure out our rides and the ticket system on the trains. He has helped us figure out a way to go to all places we wanted as much as possible and to our own pace. We were a group of 7 and 4 of which were in their 60s already so walking far and long caught them on a bit of a surprise. But Mitsuru did not push on and simply led us on a much better route with lesser walking for my companions. We had.time for eating and shopping as well! I did not expect it too, but he also brought us straight home again after the tour. A guy who w... read more
Dear Mae & family, sorry for late feedback! Many thanks for your comments.. You guys are so easy going! It was a pleasure to have guided you, Iñigo and your relatives from the US / Philippines who did great, taking their age in consideration.. I was glad to see them enjoying super fresh sushi at Tsukiji Market and you having a delicious sake at Golden Gay! Most of all, I was pretty impressed with your fluency in English, pretty much like native speakers! I hope you had spent great moments in Kyoto / Kansai area as well. Please come again to Japan.. still many beautiful places to be visited such as Nikko, Mt. Fuji, Kamakura, Okinawa etc.
We had so much fun with Mitsuru going to all the “must see” Tokyo locations on our list! There is no way we could have seen everything we saw on our own as I am certain it would have taken us twice as long just trying to navigate the metro and rail lines. Mitsuru is knowledgeable, kind, respectful, curious, punctual, funny, and communicates very well. He went out of his way to find stores that carried the items we wanted, carried packages for us, brought an umbrella and extra phone battery just in case, and kept us on schedule so we could see everything we wanted. I wish we could take him to Kyoto with us! Mitsuru started out as our private guide but by the end of our two days together, We now consider him our friend! You can’t go wrong with Mitsuru...I highly reccomend him! read more
Dear Dana & Tim, wow.. I don’t know what to say after this wonderful review, no words to thank you guys and express my happiness! It’d awesome to go down to Kyoto if I could go! I am sure you enjoyed this traditional and beautiful former capital, so much to see there.. and thanks a lot for all gifts! More and more, I want to visit the beautiful nature of the USA, including middle West! Please take care and I do hope to see you guys again in the near future, cheers!!
Mitsuru was great, we found him to be knowledgeable and accomodating. He managed to squeeze a lot in in a half day tour. He showed us how to use the subway and purchase/top up our cards for the best value. Thanks Mitsuru it was a pleasure to meet you.
G'day Mark & family! It was great to tour with you guys.. since the beginning, we didn't spent time discussing places to be visited, you just trusted on me, so thank you so much.. then we could do a lot in such as short time! Hope James can come here again next year for the 2019 Rugby World Cup! Cheers!!
I am very grateful to had the opportunity to meet Mitsuru and have him as a guide for 2 days in Tokyo. I reccomend him to anyone that would like to have a local experience without being pushed to all these touristic venues we are tired off. Mitsuru knows exactly how to adapt the customer needs and is very flexible. Thanks Mitsuru and hope having the opportunity to come again to Tokyo and having you as a local guide again.
Grande Gustavo, to not say Doutor Gustavo, kkkkk.. you know Doutor’s story could be yours! Rss.. well, that's just single things that makes Tóquio so interesting, unusual, weird and also funny, isn't it? Please come again next year with your others Doutores mates from all over the world! Abs!!
It was awesome meeting Mitsuru! He was really helpful and adaptable when organising our one day tour in Tokyo. We had a great day with Mitsuru in Tokyo. Our tour included different sites around the city that we were keen to visit, and we traveled around both by foot and subway. I'd definitely recommend booking Mitsuru as a local tour guide.
G’day Deb! You came with such as cool and friendly Aussie group! NSW, VIC and QLD.. cheers!! Yeah, I think we spent a fantastic time together, just sorry for two things: your other friends that got sick in the cruise and had to stay at Yokohama Port and the heavy raining that hit us suddenly at the end.. you guys are awesome!! Thank you so much and please come again!!
We really enjoyed our three days with Mitsuru. His proposed agenda took in a great selection of the main tourist "must see" items, as well as some off-beat and quirky things, exactly in line with our pre-meet preferences. His English is excellent and his manner is easy going and engaging, yet never intrusive. We were very glad we booked with Mitsuru, as we would never have covered all the destination points in the same timeframe, nor understood them in the way we are able to with him Would recommend his guiding for anyone with just a few days in Tokyo and an appetite to discover the "best of" what the city has to offer Thanks again Jon & Brenda
Hi Jon & Brenda, it was a honor to have guided you guys, thank you so much! 3 great days with such as lovely couple.. I am glad that the tour was like you expected, thanks to you too! You are a very organized guy and pretty flexible at the same time. No way Jon, my English is ok, not excellent! I should spend more time with you guys to get some British accent! Btw, I was very happy yo see Brenda, with her beautiful blond hair wearing kimono with you for the photo session. Also you guys were fantastic at the tea ceremony!! What to say about the teppan restaurant, you said it is very rare to return to the same restaurant, because you like to try different places! But yeah, that was an exception, right? Definitely that dinner we ordered twice deserve our respect! Haha.. btw, thank you so muc... read more
We had a great day exploring Ueno, Akhibara and Tsjuki outer market with Mitsuru. Our whole family appreciated his kind and patient manner and insight into Tokyo. Mitsuru had so many great suggestions and came organised with maps and an overview of Japanese history. Our daughter was not feeling so well and he made adjustments to make sure she was comfortable. Thank you Mitsuru for a great day!
G'day Katy! Omg, what a cute twins you and Frank have! They are very easygoing! Zak is so talkative and Lucy is so sweet!! :) Happy to see Lucy was getting better.. hope you had fun with them in most of the recommended places.. Cheers! Thank you Kate.. see ya later!
We really enjoyed our two days in Tokyo with Mitsuru. To begin with.....prior to arrival, I loved how we communicated through the TripleLights website. It was so easy and Mitsuru always responded within a number of hours. Considering the time difference, that was great! He asked lots of questions about us to try to learn about my husband and me before we met and what we would be interested in. That said, we gave MItsuru a list of things that we wanted to try knock out in our two days with him. Mitsuru is very fast in moving about the city and we loved that. We wanted to move quickly so that we could fit in as much as possible in our two days with him. He listened to our feedback from our first day and helped by making a couple changes to our itinerary on the second day. Mitsuru was very ... read more
Hi Susan, thank you so much for such as great review.. yes, we did a lot for 2 days tour and I appreciated a lot! Specially when people are confident enough to open their plans, lifestyle, background.. hence there are more chances to take customers to the places that they will probably enjoy.. I was also surprised to see your physical condition! I thought we would miss the opening ceremony in Nihombashi at our 2nd day, but we got in time! I hope our tour around Hibiya, Chuo-dori and Omotesando area have gave you many ideas / inspiration for your business. And thank you for the happy hour at your place, cheers!! A big hug in you & Ken and come again please.. let's have some wine or I can take to see more baseball games!
G'day Larry! Thanks a lot.. Cheers :-)
I met with Mitsuru on September 5th. He was really great guide. We met at my hotel. We went to a lot of places like Ginza, Akihabara, Shijuku, Roppongi... So many wonderful places we visited. I must say if you come to Japan first time and don't know where to go. To hire a guide like Mitsuru is the best choice. Mitsuru is very good guide and warm-hearted as well. He can arrange some places that you can see the better city view. He can recommend some special food which might not pop on your guiding book. He even carried my bags while walking. And he helped me to ask things I wanted to buy in Japanese. At the end of trip, he sent me back to my hotel. The back time didn't count in our hiring time! Very good experience with Mitsuru. If I come to Tokyo again, I think I will still hire him a... read more
Hey Jason, thank you for your great review! Yeah, definitely we did a lot for a full day tour.. you are a so young and friendly guy, I enjoyed a lot to guide you around the city! Thank you for invite me to visit your home town, I would love to have a chance to explore China. It was fantastic that you and me could arrive in Tokyo safely during /after typhoon nr 21, as I said, I was afraid to not be in Tokyo to tour with you. Fortunately, all has gone well for both of us! Thank you and pls come again to explore other parts of Japan. Xiexie!
We had a wonderful relaxed stress free day seeing so much of Tokyo and it’s culture and history . Wonderful experience. Very happy .

Mitsuru was the perfect guide for me. He was informative. I truly was able to enjoy my site seeing with no rush. Mitsuru it was an honor to have you as my guide. Thank you.
Hi Cyprian!! Thanks a lot for your review.. it was a great pleasure to have met you and I hope to see you again for the 2020 Olympic Games with all your family! :) Yeah, London > Rio > Tokyo.. Gambare!!!
Mitsuru was professional and contacted us leading up to the trip. He helped us navigate the airport and find our hotel when we arrived. This was invaluable for first time visitors! He recommended the best local dining spots and his tour itinerary was the perfect pace for my son and I! We saw amazing exhibits he recommended and got a great taste of Tokyo!!! He is knowledgeable and energetic and knows the city, but tailors his time and keeps it fresh and relevant. I highly recommend Mitsuru.
Hi Tara and Javin! Thanks a lot for such as kind review :-) After a long flight, I think it’s convenient to have a local to welcome you guys! So, you can reach your hotel, stress free and just relax on all the way, specially when you have few days to enjoy the city.. I got pretty glad to know that Javin enjoyed a lot the ramen restaurant! Thank you to be open minded, thanks to that, I could have some ideas in advance suitable for you, specially for the 2nd day! Thank you for teaching me on your amazing state in the US! I really need to visit it, yeah, one more to my list! Have fun in Nagoya and take care!
Truly the prince of Tokyo! Mitsuru knew exactly what type of tourist's we were and he hit the ground running... literally! we did an enormous amount in one day and all of his recommendations were spot on! everyone who asks about our trip he's the first topic of conversation. Mitsuru was very knowledgeable, courteous, attentive to all of our needs and requirements, had a great sense of humour; we felt like we'd known him for years! even after our tour was done he recommended some great places and wrote it down so we didn't have any trouble. No better way than to experience Tokyo. if you're reading this no need to go further. Book Mitsuru i assure you you wont be disappointing.
G’day Simon, I have no words to express my gladness to have met you guys! You and Maha are so easy going and funny couple.. whenever I meet an Aussie, it’s always very good, cause your life style reminds me the great time that I spent in OZ.. I also got glad to see you guys enjoying yazakaya at Shinjuku’s alleyways and thank you to have treated me at Tsukiji Fish Market! As I said, you guys are lucky.. in a couple of months the current and old Tsukiji Market will move to Toyosu and after you have left to Kyoto, a typhoon had just came in Tokyo! I hope you had spent a nice time in the beautiful Seoul!! And I hope to meet the baby in the near future! Thank you and see ya later!!
Grato e boa viagem! Mitsuru
Mitsuru did an exceptional job showing us interesting sites in Japan that we would not have visited if by ourselves. He was very courteous, polite, respectful, and a lot of fun. His personality fit our family of four with two teenagers very well. He communicated well with all four of us as a group and individually. He took extra steps in making sure we understood Japan’s Public Transportation system before ending our day with him. We highly recommend Mitsuru.
Hello Mr. David! Thanks a lot for such as kind review.. it was a pleasure to have met you and your family! I just wished I could take you guys to the last spot, but I see how hard is to be good after a long flight and was so surprised when the girls said they had woke up around 3am due to the jet lag! I hope Stephany is fine as well and please enjoy the next destinations in Japan! Kind regards, Mitsuru
Apart from fitting into my demanding and changing wants of covering many areas in just 1 ½ days, Mitsuru did a great job as a tour guide. Right when I landed in Haneda, he had a file ready for me with my hotel information and train map. When I left from the hotel (even though he was not responsible for me that day), he made sure that I have safely reached airport. Also made me comfortable riding the complex maze of subways in Tokyo of my own in just one day. Walked 67,000 with him (fitbit). Highly recommended from my experiences. Saved me money providing useful tips (Paid Vs free views of Tokyo, 5-20X cheaper transport to airport etc which are just hard to know without being a local). Page will crash if I list down what places I visited.
Hey Pritam, I really appreciate your review! Definitely, we visited so many places in such as short time thanks to your physical condition even under 34C degrees!! Fortunately, the time was enough to take the great pics you wished. Hope the few I took are not bad! I am sure those ones you have clicked got a state of art! Thanks for your tips on photography as well. Next time you come to Japan, I would be glad to guide you around Kamakura city (former Japanese capital) and Enoshima beaches (1 hour and half southwest of Tokyo). Cheers!
This was our first time in Japan and we hired Mitsuru to help us get to our airbnb from Narita as well as booking a full day tour with him. I can't say enough what a helpful, wonderful, knowledgable guide he was. Super helpful in getting us acquainted with the train and metro system which can be very daunting. He tailored our tour to our family's needs perfectly. He was super flexible and responsive. I wish I could have hired him the whole time. He was amazing!
Dear Suzanne, thanks a lot for your kind review. Definitely it was my pleasure to be with you guys at these days. Very glad to see you and the kids enjoying the spots we visited and I got surprised about Nel's interest on the Gracie family. Yeah, I just felt sorry that airbnb was not that good. On the other hand, now you can feel at home.. and thank you for such as nice invitation to enjoy the pool! Your family is beautiful.. wish you can do many other international trips together from now on, since the kids are growing up!! Thank you so much!!
Tour with Mitsuru was a great decision! He is very easygoing, punctual and well traveled, so along the tour we had lots of places in common to be compared with Tokyo’s districts. It was my first time in Japan, being Tokyo the very first destination. Without him, I would probably get lost and spend much time with details on the road, specially with the excellent, but complex transportation system! Also thank you for taking me to that nice restaurant (all food was delicious), for your tips and for nice time we spent around this fantastic city!
Many thanks Paulo for the review!! Yes, people who live or work in Tokyo use mainly these hundreds subway stations, monorail, other thousands of local stations in the Metropolitan area.. specially Shinjuku district is hard for first timers! But railways are convenient and environmentally friend.. now enjoy Japan with your JR pass, but careful with the heavy rain in West Jpn.. Thank you for threat me at izakaya! Have fun in Jpn and Asia. Grazie e arrivederci!
I booked Mitsuru for a client and he was great to work with. He was very responsive and detailed, and put together a great day for the clients. I would be happy to recommend him.
Hi Suzie, it was a pleasure to have guided that beautiful Californian family! The couple was so glad eating sushi at restaurant in Tsukiji and the girls had fun in Harajuku even under the rain. Thank you so much, all has gone great thanks to you too!
:-) ¡Abrazo amigos!
Spend a day with Mistui with my daughter age 10 . Mitsuru was very accommodating and helpful . Thank you for a wonderful day
Mrs. Dalia, it was a pleasure to have guided you and your dear Laya. Thank you and please enjoy the rest of your time in Japan!
Mitsuru was such a wonderful tour guide. We had a list of unusal requests since we had a teenager traveling with us. Temples and shrines were not our top priority. Ninjas, samurai, sumo and Gundam! Mitsuru was able to accommodate them all. It was such an incredible experience for our first trip to Tokyo and had Mitsuru guided us through it all. Best of all, we have made a new friend in Japan.
Hi Christine, it was a great pleasure to have guided your beautiful and funny family! You and To are so easygoing and I realized that you guys are the type of people more interested on experience and practical information related to Tokyo’s lifestyle than a lesson of Japanese history or so! Also I have saw Xander as my nephew, because of his age and personality. So, I hope you had the kind of experience you expected! Although we come from different countries and cultures, at these days it seemed we were a group of friends sharing different experiences of our lives and that’s priceless! Thank you very much for being a new friend of you guys!! See you in the US some day!
A very good experience visiting most important points of interest according our suggestions, Mitsuru was very carefully trying all time to exceed our expectations. Our visit was perfect , thank you very much.
Hello Arnaldo, thank you for your review! It was a really great pleasure to me to have guided you guys. Hope you enjoy the rest of your trip around Japan and relax in CA on the way back home! Abs.
My wife and I have had a great experience of Tokyo with Mitsuru. Mitsuru provided an exciting overview of the city and its major spots, and was very inclined to share interesting tips about Tokyo daily life and Japanese culture. We strongly recommend Mitsuru for a guided experience in Tokyo, arigato Mitsuru! Thomas and Anne
Merci Thomas! You guys are so friendly couple, it was a pleasure to have you as my guests! By the way, I am in debit with you regarding to Asahi Beer’s building (the one with that golden flame).. it was designed by French Philippe Starck. I hope to visit Paris one day! Also was really nice to know we share the same love for Australia! And thanks to Anne Laure for invited me to Café Paulista! Arigatou Thomas and au revoir!
Matsuri was our guide for one day in Tokyo He picked us up at the hotel and took us to a lot of places with public transportation We went to Odaiba , Shibuya and Omotesando He is a very nice guy , gentil , kind and for us it was perfect since we are Brazilians and he speaks Portuguese We had a very nice experience with Mitsuru as our guide
Hey Tatiana, thank you for the review! It was really cool to see how you guys were excited on the way back from Odaiba at the Bay Zone, at Shinjuku’s TMG and mainly at Shibuya scramble crossing.. Take care of Ariel, hope he gets fine asap.. Abs a tds!
My husband and I came to Tokyo for the first time. Mitsuru helped us to see, in one day, so many of this cities different faces. We traveled to various neighborhoods where Mitsuru helped us get oriented, instructed us on how to use public transportation and services, and even helped us book one of the best eating experiences for my birthday. We were welcomed as honored guests because of his wonderful reputation. He has excellent English and an infectiously positive attitude. Without him, it would have taken us many days to get our bearings and we wouldn’t have seen nearly as many amazing things.
Dear Yuliya, you and Dmitry are a wonderful couple and it was an unforgettable day of April! You are very easygoing and open minded, so I could fell comfortable to talk and show you around. Also since we are not native English speaker, it was easier for me to understand your needs. Public transportation in Tky, specially subway is not that hard to use as long you have time to be familiar with stations’s name, lines, destinations and exits! Definitely, in the US I’d get confuse at the beginning. As for your birthday, we were so lucky and blessed! Thank you for the review and I really miss you guys! See you again some day!
This was great. Mitsuru took me to places I couldn’t find myself. He’s done his research and has spent time finding the best spots not just the most famous spots. We went to the fish market and had the most amazing freshest sushi and sashimi ever from a tiny restaurant tucked between two other shops. I can not believe it how good it was. I loved all the bustling side alleys and streets and products for sale and to try! Massive contrast to Akihabara. But even in Akihabara, we didn’t just go to the main electronics shops on the main road we went to the smaller lesser know (but still massive) shops in the sides/back streets. Not to mention more amazing food from a tiny 10 seater ramen restaurant hidden away in a side street. Thanks!
Hello Ashley, thank you for your kind review! You just chose the right tour for that and we just found the things you were looking for.. it was so nice to guide you, you are open minded, so we had fun! Yeah, space is pretty valuable in Tokyo, so alley ways are common! I am glad the tour matched exactly to your needs. Thanks a lot and hope to see you again!
I am very glad to have book my tour with Mitsuru. He took me to the places described in this tour and was pretty helpful, friendly and flexible. It was ok for me to decided where to spend more time, and I could enjoy my time perfectly with his knowledge about the places! Great markets, neighborhoods and shrines we visited. He pointed some interesting museums and other places in Tokyo, where I could go afterwards or other days. And enjoy tokyo fully! Moreover, he explained me about Tokyo’s geography and how to go almost everywhere in Tokyo by subway, cultural differences and tips for a foreigner who are beginner in the complex Japanese society. Thank you very much, was a pleasure to meet you and do your tour. Aconselho... read more
Hi João, boa noite! It was my pleasure to show you a little of Tokyo. Above of all, I am very happy to know that you have enjoyed the tour. It was so nice to learn from you some different Portuguese words used in Portugal, some sounds so funny! I am sure you can get used to Tokyo’s transportation system as time goes by or even on the road! Hope to see you again in the near future! Obrigado e até mais!
