    Shwedagon Pagoda

    It is not only one of the world's wonders but also the Land Mark in Myanmar. Shwedagon has another name as Four Relic of Shwedagon, as the relic of four former Buddhas were enshrined. This 100-m tall glittering Pagoda is believed to be built over 2600 years ago and was renovated many times over the centuries by various Kings of Mon and Bamar.
    If you've been to Myanmar, but never have been to Shwedagon, then your trip is not fulfilled.

    Kandawgyi Garden & The Royal Lake

    It is located in the center of Yangon, a walking distance from Shwedagon Pagoda. Now, Kandawgyi Garden is upgraded comprising of the education zone, relaxation zone and recreation zone. In the garden you can have pleasure to visit restaurants, Timber walkway, Rock Garden, Rock Tower and so on. Karaweik, restaurant built with traditional architecture is carried by two mythical floating birds. Karaweik restaurant is the Land Mark of the Royal Lake as well.

    Bogyoke Aung San Market is not only about colonial buildings but also the best place to shop every items and souvenirs such as Myanmar handicrafts, jewellery, clothings, lacquerware, and modern items. Over 2000 shops display the different commodities competitively.

    National Museum

    It is located on Pyay road and it has five floors of exhibits. The 8m-high Lion Throne of King Thibaw, the last Myanmar King, the Royal Regalia of 19th century, the artifacts of various ancient periods, manuscripts, traditional dresses of various ethnic groups, traditional musical instruments, paintings, etc are displayed in the museum.

    Downtown area
