Yokohama Minatomirai faces the ocean and overlooks magnificent scenery. It has many different museums, amusements, shopping malls, hotels and so on. First, we visit Hara Model Railway Museum, which features about 1,000 model trains including rare ones collected by Hara Nobutaro from worldwide. In addition, you would be amazed at the large-scale and extraordinarily elaborate diorama. Next, enjoy creating own original cupnoodles with favorite soup, ingredients and a cup design at Cupnoodles Museum. If you want, you can make chicken ramen from scratch (it takes 90 min. and needs a booking). Finally, we drop by Red Brick Warehouse, a symbol of Yokohama. The two structures were built about 100 years ago and now have shops of stylish selections. Yokohama is just 30 min. far from Tokyo by train and people of all ages can enjoy. Why don't you join me? (This is a walking tour, however we can take a bus if we get tired.)read more

Masako was early to meet us at our hotel, which was a good omen for me knowing she was punctual. She showed us how to use the subway system which seemed complicated even though we’ve navigated subways the world over. Masako’s English was very good and easy to understand. Her knowledge of Tokyo was extensive and informative. She knew where to go for whatever we were looking for and was good in suggesting a lunch restaurant. If we return to Tokyo, we would definitely use her again.
Dear Richard, Thank you very much for the lovely comment. It was wonderful to be with you. You two are energetic though you arrived Tokyo thd day before and might have had jet lag. You are friendly and open-minded about different culture. I was convinced to hear you do voluntary work in many countries and your wife runs her own company. I very much enjoyed chatting with you as well. When you return to Tokyo, I would like to meet you again, too. Please enjoy the rest of your stay in Japan! Best regards, Masako
Masako very reliable , fast reply any question you ask , patience with our group of 12 people A little disappointed can't go to 1 place in our itinerary , a little change with out notice But it's alright after all because the last place to visit very close to the hotel and after a long day walking all over different places happy to be back to the hotel Thank Masako for your time guide us walking in the rain special hiking at Mt. Takao
Hello Tina, Thank you very much for the kind comment. I was impressed all of you are good walkers and patient of the long tour. What's more, I heard the next day you would leave the hotel for Haneda airport in the early morning. You are very energetic! I would like to live like you. Thank you for your cooperation and patience. Best regards, Masako
We enjoyed our time with Masako very much. She was very organized and easy to understand. Our weather was not good and she happily made adjustments to our original itinerary. We had a relaxing morning and a delicious lunch before she helped us find our way to the airport for our flight home. Thanks again Masako, it was great meeting you. Margaret and Jeff
Hello Margaret and Jeff, Thank you very much for the lovely comment. I appreciate it. I am glad to hear you went back home safe and sound. Though it was half a day, it was wonderful to be with you. Your friendliness and kindness helped me for all uncomfortable weather. It has still been raining here since then. When you return to Japan sometime in the future, I would like to meet you and show you around our beautiful country! Best regards, Masako
Masako did an excellent job guiding our group of 10 seniors to the major sites of Tokyo. She skillfully guided us through the complex subways and streets of the city while making sure that all of us had our questions answered and needs met. All 10 of us highly recommend her as a choice for your guide. We thank her for a great experience.😀
Hello Steven, Thank you very much for the two days and such a kind comment. I appreciate it. You are all friendly and cheerful, which helped me a lot. I thank you for your cooperation and patience. Please enjoy Kyoto and the cruise tour! Best regards, Masako
We had a 5 hour tour with Masako which we customized ourselves but Masako did all the organizing and travel arrangements. We went to a Japanese Tea Ceremony which was amazing in a small village called Yanaka. We were given lots of history/information from Masako during the tour. Masako was a lovely and funny lady and we enjoyed her company very much.
Hello Perry, Thank you very much for the kind comment. I am glad to hear you enjoyed the tour. You must have been very disappointed because the rugby game you were supposed to watch was called off due to the typhoon. However, I am most grateful to you that you listened to my explanation eagerly. I was happy to accompany you. Give my regards to Sarah and your cultivated sons. Best regards, Masako
