“ One day tour of Nikko ”

Aki met the group at Keio Hotel, Shinjuku and proceeded to the train station which Aki got our train tickets to go to Kikko.. Aki was very informative and the group enjoyed the information that he provided to the group. He was very knowledgeable of the area. The group really enjoyed him. “ Tokyo in a nutshell ”

I highly recommend Aki as a tour guide. 😀 Even with the limited time we had in Tokyo, he was able to introduce us to all the important sights in Tokyo (Tsukiji Market, Imperial Palace, Meiji Shrine, Omote-sando & Harajuku). We didn’t go to Shibuya anymore because we already went the night before our tour. He also brought us to a very nice ramen restaurant for lunch. We all loved the broth of the ramen. He was very organized (mapped out a very logical itinerary for us), courteous and patient (specially since we had hard-to-handle kids and we were late in meeting him at the start of the tour), thoughtful (he even gave us a very nice and heartwarming token gift to greet the new year), considerate (always thought about our convenience by looking for elevator/escalator options, specially ... read more

“ Peaceful Tokyo ”

It was my first day in Japan, and after a mind-numbing flight I asked my guide Aki for the chance to have a calm and peaceful day, plus an opportunity to learn about culture and how to get around. It was excellent. Began the morning in a temple observing a ceremony. Visited quiet parks, temples and smaller museums. Yes, we had some busy areas but overall it was a calm and beautiful day.

Aki:

“ Mt. Fuji: A Trip of a Lifetime ”

Aki is immensely a kind, caring and knowledgeable guide. He speaks English fluently. He made everything comfortable for our family from arranging the bus booking in advance for us to fetching us to our hotel going to Mt. Fuji. He also provided me with the weather update at Mt. Fuji so we would could prepare well for everything. Best of all, Aki made our Mt. Fuji tour priceless! The itinerary he arranged for us was great, from our cruising on the Lake Kawaguchiko to the Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway and our relaxing walk around Oishi Park. Even our lunch in one of the restaurants in Oishi Park was really delectable. In the evening when we returned back to Shinjuku, Aki still assisted us even if it was past his schedule with us. We were asking him of the direction going to one shopping... read more
