Tsukiji Fish Market is popularly known among visitors from abroad. The market has two areas; one is Inner Market , Auction Hall and the other, Outer Market, shops of allied traders. You are not scheduled to see Tuna Auction because it is held so early in the morning.
But you can enjoy an atmosphere of vigorous marketplace and also enjoy shopping at the outer market shops. After that you visit one of the most famous gardens in Tokyo, Hama-rikyu Gardens, designated as cultural heritage of the state or Tokyo. Touch the harmony between the modern Tokyo and old Tokyo. Then let's enjoy water bus to Asakusa along the Sumidagawa River. Lunch is sushi,or as you like.

Akira picked us up at our hotel and personally guided us through the subway and took us to the fish market, walked us through the inner and outer market and showed us many interesting foods and was very informative. Then he took us to an outstanding sushi restaurant for lunch, which was not expensive. He took the group to Asakusa and then a boat ride. He was very informative and caring. We would recommend him for this tour.
We were in Tokyo for company team building and hired Akira to be our tour guide for a half day tour in Tokyo. We also booked bus from another bus company since we're a large group of 11 people. We learnt a great deal from Akira who kindly explained Tokyo's incredible history (as we drove around imperial garden), Japan's religions (as we visited Asakusa Temple and Meiji Shrine). We also went to Tokyo Tower in the evening where we were greeted with a beautiful night view of the city. Coordination was tough at first because I only had sporadic internet access while in Tokyo and was not able to reply consistently. I would like to thank Akira for being patient with us! I highly recommend Akira to anyone interested to learn a great deal about Japan's rich history and culture.
Akira was very informative. Met us promptly at our hotel with a nice sign printed with our name on it. This helped us identify him. He took us to all of the sites as planned and shared lots of information regarding the history of the sites and the customs. Patiently taught me over and over how to say thank you as it took me a couple of times. Had a delicious lunch as well! Definitely money well spent!!
You were really helpful and we liked geting around Tokyo as locals by train and bus, you showed us Tsukijuku inner and outer market, Hamarikyu gardens, Asakusa and Meiji Shrine in one day, a great tour. thankyou
This trip was a last minute request to which Akira responded to quickly with what was a wonderful itinerary. Communications were excellent. Unfortunately, due to a family illness, we were unable to go on the trip as we had to fly home early. I wished that I had discovered TripleLights and Akira earlier on in my planning though as having a personal guide is so much better than going on the huge tours with a more comprehensive narrative, less wasted time and more relaxed pace. The pricing for TripleLights and Akira's trip were very reasonable. When I return for another visit to Japan, I will first check with TripleLights and Akira for my tours.
