Tired of Tokyo's busy streets? Then let's enjoy Tokyo like locals by Toden Streetcar! "Toden Arakawa-sen(line)" is a streetcar system running through the northern area of Central Tokyo where there is a nostalgic atmosphere. Along this line, there are various spots, such as temples and shrines, old shopping streets, parks, Japanese gardens and more. By using this line, let's enjoy strolling the town. This is a flexible tour that you could choose 3-5 spots of your interest along the line. Some of the attractions are: Kishimojin Shrine in Zoshigaya (It enshrines Kishimojin, a goddess who protects children, Zoshigaya Cemetery (There are many graves of notable people), Sugamo Togenuki Jizoson Temple & Sugamo shopping street (Sugamo has been popular for elderly people and called "Grandma's Harajuku". Recently it's also popular for young generations for its uniqueness.), Asukayama Park (Historical park famous for seasonal flowers and plants and the lowest mountain in Tokyo with the height of 25.4 meter), Oji Shrine, Oji Inari Temple , Arakawa Yuen (Tiny & nostalgic local amusement park) and "Joyful Minowa Shopping Arcade" (400 meter-long local shopping street with a history of more than 60years)... *Toden Arakawa Line is a local line which cars are very small. Please note that it's sometimes very crowded and you are not always able to get a seat.
*We can walk or take a taxi between each site. If you would prefer taking a taxi, please pay the taxi fare.
