What to Expect
Ueno Park : One of the most popular cherry blossom viewing spots in Tokyo. The 800 cherry blossom trees that line both sides of the park’s path are simply wonderful. You can enjoy not only cherry blossoms but culture here, as there are some shrines, temples and museums.
Ameyoko :It’s a shopping street in Ueno area. It used to be a black market, but now, 520 stores sell everything from foods and products for everyday life to clothing, watches and health goods. It has a very inexpensive image with many shops that offer products that are cheaper than usual.
Sumida Park : One of the most popular cherry blossom viewing spots in Tokyo. More than 600 cherry trees along the Sumida river.
Asakusa Semsoji Temple : This temple is Tokyo's oldest and most popular temple with a big gate and 5 story pagoda. Nakamise-Dori is a pedestrian street leading to the temple lined with many traditional shops and souvenir stands.
Rikugien Garden : A Japanese garden with a three-hundred-year history. Weeping cherry blossom in this garden is a must-see.
