It is a unique place where you can find a variety of delicious Japanese and international foods.
The magnificent Shrine is dedicated to the god of entertainment and has mysterious Golden-Gai streets just behind it.
Over 200 tiny shanty-style bars and clubs are squeezed into the old and narrow streets.
The area is famous as one of the busiest entertainment district in Japan.
A life-sized Gozilla head looks out over the city from the eighth floor of the building.
It is famous among tourists for its free observation decks which provide good panoramic views of Tokyo and beyond.

Arigato Chiaki-san! We had such an amazing time these two days with Chiaki-san. She was a perfect guide and we loved spending time with here and enjoyed the various locations that she took us to. She provided us with a detailed schedule and also gave us perfect directions to get from Haneda airport to our Asakusa hotel. She knew all the in-and-outs of the public transport to shortcuts to costs. She was always on time and ensured we spent ample time at our sightseeing spots. At the same time, she was cognizant of the time. Both our daughters immediately gelled with her. She was caring and she became part of our family in those two days. She also took us to various food spots and it was all delicious. It was a great experience and we are so glad and honored that we met Chiaki-san and spent t... read more
