“ Tokyo fish market ”

Akira picked us up at our hotel and personally guided us through the subway and took us to the fish market, walked us through the inner and outer market and showed us many interesting foods and was very informative. Then he took us to an outstanding sushi restaurant for lunch, which was not expensive. He took the group to Asakusa and then a boat ride. He was very informative and caring. We would recommend him for this tour.

Akira:
Hello, Charles-san and Karen-san. Thank you for sending your review for the tour. I'm so happy to read your too many nice things about me. I myself had a good time guiding the nice people like you. I understand everyone of you has a high interest to Japanese culture. All of you enjoyed freshly made sushi just in front of the sushi chef. That was so good, wasn't it? I felt sad when I had to say goodbye to you and you hugged me tightly in the middle of the tour at Tsukiji Fish Market, but I enjoyed the latter half of the tour with the other people including your brother. They seemed to be enjoying Japanese Gardens, match-tea with Japanese sweets, cruising along the river and Asakusa Kannon Temple. I hope to guide you to some nice spots in or around Tokyo if you have a chance to visit Japan again. I have to live up to your nice words as a guide. Thank you again. I really appreciate you. May you and your family and your friends be happy. With my best regards.

“ Awesome Afternoon with ”

We were in Tokyo for company team building and hired Akira to be our tour guide for a half day tour in Tokyo. We also booked bus from another bus company since we're a large group of 11 people. We learnt a great deal from Akira who kindly explained Tokyo's incredible history (as we drove around imperial garden), Japan's religions (as we visited Asakusa Temple and Meiji Shrine). We also went to Tokyo Tower in the evening where we were greeted with a beautiful night view of the city. Coordination was tough at first because I only had sporadic internet access while in Tokyo and was not able to reply consistently. I would like to thank Akira for being patient with us! I highly recommend Akira to anyone interested to learn a great deal about Japan's rich history and culture.

Akira:
Hello. Germaine san. How are you? I've missed you. I really appreciate your compliments. All of you listened to me very eagerly and with a lot of interest when I was explaining Japanese history, culture, and other miscellaneous things. I'm very happy to have this opportunity to guide 11 international people and meet a nice person like you. I definitely would like you to call me and I'd like to guide you if you have a chance to visit Japan and have a tour again. I must live up to your wonderful compliments from now on. Thank you very much for your review again. Please take a look at that porcelain-crane sometimes. May your work be full of much excitement and success!

Akira was very informative. Met us promptly at our hotel with a nice sign printed with our name on it. This helped us identify him. He took us to all of the sites as planned and shared lots of information regarding the history of the sites and the customs. Patiently taught me over and over how to say thank you as it took me a couple of times. Had a delicious lunch as well! Definitely money well spent!!

Akira:
Thank you, Jill, Eric, Cole, and Casey. I'm sure it was torrid in Kyoto. I hope you had a good trip all the time. I'm happy to read your words. I really had a good time with you. All of you listened to me with friendly and warm attitude. You always gave warmhearted words. I'm very happy to meet nice people like your family. I really appreciate it. I wish to guide you to other places as well. If you have a chance to visit Japan some day again, I would like to help you. I'm looking forward to seeing you again. By the way, did you happen to remember "You're welcome" = "Doh-itashi-mashite" ? I better live up to your compliment by doing a good job. Take care!

You were really helpful and we liked geting around Tokyo as locals by train and bus, you showed us Tsukijuku inner and outer market, Hamarikyu gardens, Asakusa and Meiji Shrine in one day, a great tour. thankyou

Akira:
Hello, Polo and Mercedes. Thank you for your cordial words. I really appreciate your openhearted attitude. I really enjoyed the whole day, including Fish Market walking, strolling the Japanese Gardens with tea and confectionary, soft breeze on the boat, and eating delicious soba and tempura. I was lucky to meet friendly persons like you. I'm happy to read that you enjoyed the tour in Tokyo. In the evening, it started to rain, but I had a good time even in the rain, when we walked along the Omite-Sando Street. If you have a chance to visit Japan again, I really hope to be helpful for your tour. Thank you again. See you soon.

This trip was a last minute request to which Akira responded to quickly with what was a wonderful itinerary. Communications were excellent. Unfortunately, due to a family illness, we were unable to go on the trip as we had to fly home early. I wished that I had discovered TripleLights and Akira earlier on in my planning though as having a personal guide is so much better than going on the huge tours with a more comprehensive narrative, less wasted time and more relaxed pace. The pricing for TripleLights and Akira's trip were very reasonable. When I return for another visit to Japan, I will first check with TripleLights and Akira for my tours.

Akira:
Hello, Lynn-San. I was really looking forward to meeting you at the hotel in Shinjuku, and introducing you to some nice places. But this time, unfortunately, due to a family illness, I was unable to do so. While we were exchanging e-mail, however, I was happy to have a good communication with you. After you were back to America, you responded to me very politely. I felt your sincerity in your response. So I had a very good experience to exchange mails with a nice customer like you, even only by e-mail. Next time, if possible, I wish you to have a nice one day tour in Tokyo some day. Then I definitely would like to be helpful for you. Tsukiji Fish Market, nice sushi lunch, Gardens, water bus and Asakusa are waiting anytime for both of you. Thank you very much.
