What to Expect

Your 7-hour walking tour takes you to some of the city’s best-loved neighborhoods, Tsukiji, Tsukishima and Monzen-nakacho, to get a real feel of Tokyo's old towns with its charms. Sample a variety of different delights, from fresh seafood, okonomi-yaki, and Japanese sweets. The stops include the world biggest Tsukiji fish market, an old town of Tsukishima by the Sumida river, and a Buddhist temple with the fire ritual.

Let’s explore Tokyo’s nostalgic, old town areas and experience Tokyo from a side you’ve never seen before. The area is located in eastern Tokyo. You'll enjoy exploring backstreets and learning about how people have lived here since the old days.

Also, If you could add an extra hour, we can explore a beautiful Japanese garden nearby, called "Kiyosumi Teien" - It has a natural landscape that is recreated and stylized with a central pond with rocks and trees arranged upon the rolling or small hills. You can enjoy a peaceful atmosphere at the end of the tour.

“ Not Like a Stranger. Like a friend ”

Eriko was very attentive and responded to every request. She was really well prepared and very spontaneous. You can talk to her very well and you feel like you're traveling with an old friend and not a guide. I would choose her again every time. Thanks for the nice time.

Lisa! Thank you for taking the time to write a great review. I really enjoyed our day together (especially wearing a kimono together!) and I'm grateful that I met you. Keep in touch and hopefully we'll see each other again in the near future :)

“ World class tour in Tokyo ”

Eriko was tour guide for our family in Tokyo for 2 days in late July. We were delighted with her proficiency in English, her knowledge and her skillful perspective of Japanese matters to the world we know. She was very adept in changing plans according to our wishes as we were going along so we got a truly tailor-made tour including a nice mix of traditional and modern Japan. Obviously Eriko is a beautiful and stylish young Japanese woman. She is also charming, serviceminded and very easy to talk to. We quickly got to feel as if she was part of our family. I guess the only hard part was saying goodbye after the two days. Arigato, Eriko.

Thank you Karsten for taking the time to write a great review. I really enjoyed sharing my love of Tokyo with you all and also learning about your wonderful culture! So grateful to have been part of your visit to Japan. Arigato and see you again in Copenhagen :)

“ Excellent experience ”

We had a one day private tour with Eriko. We communicated through the Triole Lights website several times before our tour and she was very accommodating as to what we wanted to see and do on our tour. Eriko met us at our hotel beautifully dressed. She helped us navigate the subway/rail system and took us to the fish market, a Buddhist fire ceremony, Harajuku, a wonderful little restaurant where we had a private room, and the Kawaii Monster Cafe. She was delightful to speak with and we had a great time with her. Her English is excellent. Thank you Eriko! -Jennifer & Gail

Thank you for taking time to stop by and leave such a great review. I had an amazing day full of fun and laughter with you ladies! Thanks Jennifer and Gail for the wonderful memory! Enjoy the rest of your trip in Japan :) Eriko
