Tokyo has a lot of attractions!! However, it may be difficult for international tourists to look around the city for a limited amount of time on their own. This tour is designed for first-timers to see some of the most popular tourist spots effectively within several hours.
I will take you to some of my best, favorite places in Tokyo, such as the lively Tsukiji Fish Market, the old temple Sensoji, Mecca of fashion Harajuku, and breathtaking city view from Tokyo Tower....etc. On the tour you can absorb various aspects of old and modern culture in Tokyo in just one day.
After the tour, you will get to know the overview of the transportation systems in Tokyo. That will help you to look around the city on your own for the rest of your stay.
*The itinerary can be changed according to your interest or preference.

Riko is a lovely Japanese woman who is very easy to understand, relaxed and knows about Japan in great detail. On our personal tour (Riko's Best Spots of Tokyo (8h)), Riko was super flexible and would change the day's agenda based on what we were interested in seeing. She provided great tips on how to survive in Japan; such as how to buy train tickets and the difference between the red and blue labels at vending machines. Her knowledge on the history of Japan is excellent and she shared it with us like a good story. She is also very contemporary, knowing about how the Japanese people and culture exists today; and she also shared this with us as part of the tour (I personally really liked Akihabara and the otaku culture there). Tokyo is a great city and I very much look forward to visiting again. Thanks Riko!
There were 3 friends travelling together and Riko found ways to reach out to each of us and our interests individually. It was an exceptional day and I think we mastered the underground system in Tokyo. We had an exceptional time touring the grounds of the Imperial Palace among other beautiful sites.
visit of 3 temple in Kamukura and nice experiment of this quite city.
We instantly took a liking to Riko the moment we met. She met us early and off we went. Touring Tokyo by train and subway was a new experience for us and it gave us a glimpse into life in this busy city. We saw all the major sites and got to tailor the tour for our interests. There is quite a bit of walking and stairs on the route; we're in our 60's and pretty fit so we had no problems with the pace. Riko's English is excellent and she described lots of interesting events and items along the way. An excellent day. Martin and Cindy Siegen Mexico
The day we had the Tokyo tour with Riko was unfortunately during a taifun event with heavy rains and win. We decided to go ahead with the tour since did not have time to reschedule for another day, although we had to alter the tour itinerary somewhat because of the bad weather. Riko did a very good job in adjusting and accommodating the plan according to our situation, and patiently addressed all of our questions about the places we visited or Japanese culture in general. She took us to one of the best sushi place we ever had at the Fish Market, and also helped activate our JR Passes for our Shinkansen trip to Kyoto. Riko spoke fluent and clear English which made things a lot easier for us. Overall we got the most out of what was otherwise a terrible stormy day. We will look Riko up again the next time we come back to Tokyo which will hopefully be under a much better weather condition. Irwan. Boston, Massachusetts, USA.
