Overview

Enjoy experiencing Noh chanting and dancing on real Noh stage by professional Noh player's teaching in the modern building of Tessenkai which is located in Aoyama, Minato ward Tokyo. Tessenkai is an important group of Kanze school in Noh world in Japan. They conduct Noh experience program periodically to spread its Noh culture in Japan.

What to Expect

Professional Noh players teach you attentively about the costumes, masks, stage constructions, the particular movements of Noh play, chants and other all of relevant to Noh play in two hours. This is a very special and exciting experience if you want to know Japanese cultures more deeply. Noh( Noh-gaku is a correct word) play was designated as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2008. After the tour, let's take a lunch nearby this venue. I recommend a bowl of vinegared rice topped with slices of fresh fish at the Japanese restaurant that is a very popular restaurant among an office worker around.
