There is another gardens nearby named Kyu-Furukawa-tei Gardens, coupled with a rare combination of the Western and Japanese style gardens. Western style gardens was designed by a British architect, Josiah Condor. Both of these two are cultural heritage gardens.

We were lucky to have Akira as our guide for Tokyo and would highly recommend. Our plans were changed by the typhoon and luckily we were able to reschedule for a different day with Akira at the end of our trip. He was in constant communications leading up to our day with him and very thoughtful and understanding of the changes. Getting around the mass transit was very easy and accessible. He gave us lots of great information and a local's perspective everywhere we went. He took us to an incredible sushi lunch which had some of the freshest, most delicious sushi we experienced throughout our entire trip. We enjoyed traditional Japanese gardens together and he was very helpful with getting us back to our hotel. He gifted us a souvenir with Mt Fuji to remember our time in Tokyo and it was ver... read more
Dear Anna-san. Thank you for your marvelous and brilliant message that has got me more motivated to do this job. I really had a good opportunity to spend a nice day with all of you and share some stories in Tokyo and me although the typhoon changed your schedule. I’m very glad you enjoyed the tour. I appreciate everyone listened to me with curiosity. I hope the tour gave you a favorable impression to Japan. I very much look forward to seeing you again if you have a good chance to be here. Say hello to Mathew and everyone. Thank you very much again. Best regards, Akira
Mr Akira met us at our hotel lobby and brought us to Tsukiji. We had a scrumptious sushi breakfast based on his recommendation. Thereafter, we explored the outer market with Mr Akira showing us and explaining the different veggies, fish and produce. Then we headed to Asakusa. We had an enjoyable time with him. He is knowledgeable, caring and very proud of his culture. Highly recommend!
Dear Karen-san. I’m so glad to have your nice message. I had a very great time with you because everyone of you is quite amicable. This message made me more motivated to being a guide. Thank you for everything again. If you have a chance to visit here, I definitely hope to see you again. Take care. Best regards, Akira
Akira is a fantastic tour guide and an extremely nice person. We went to kawagoe to see the storehouses and go on a soy sauce factory tour. The town was charming with great souvenir options (and much less crowded than some of the attractions in Tokyo). Unfortunately my daughter developed a stomach ache from the night before but Akira was able to help so much. He assisted us in getting her safely back to the hotel in Tokyo and was so helpful in caring for our family. I can’t imagine a better person to work with.
Amanda-san, Ed-san, and Sarah-san. I’m most grateful to you that you sent me such a marvelous review that has become wonderful incentive to me! Although it’s a shame that we didn’t go through the original schedule, I myself had a good time talking with you on the train. I’m impressed that while I was speaking, you were earnestly listened to me. Hope you could touch unique atmosphere of Kawagoe. This was a great experience to see such nice people like you. Ed-san, you’re such an energetic and fascinating person. I’d like to keep contact with you from now onward. *PS: I checked “Harper Trout 2020” Hope you have a good day! Best regards, Akira
My family (husband and two teenage daughters) and I had a wonderful time with Akira exploring theTokyo Station, Tsukiji Fish Market, Hamarikyu Gardens and Asakusa. He was well-versed in the background of the places we visited and especially wanted to show my husband who is an architect, Tokyo Station and another building in Asakusa. He brought us to a delicious restaurant where my husband said it was the best sashimi he had throughout our whole trip in Japan! His English is excellent and was able to educate us on Japanese culture and was curious about life in America so we had many great conversations. I would definitely hire Akira again the next time we are in Tokyo. Thank you Akira for the lovely gift for us to remember our travels in Japan.
Dear Cezanne-san, Matt-san, Hanah-san, and Emily-san. I hope you’re well! Thank you very much for your encouraging message! Sorry for being late for reply. I’m most grateful to you that you sent me such a marvelous review! I’m happy that I myself had a great experience during one-day tour with your family. I’m glad that you enjoyed your stay in Japan. I’m looking forward to helping you again if you happen to have a chance to visit Japan some day. I hope you have a nice day every day in San Francisco. Best regards, Akira
Akira was lovely to communicate with in helping us reach a destination in Tokyo which was difficult as a foreigner. He responded quickly and clearly at all times. When the day of the tour came, he was promptly on time, helped us with exactly what we needed, and even helped us for how to get back into Tokyo afterwards after the tour was done. I have nothing but positive things to say.
Dear Chris-san & Chris-san. Thank you for your quick and wonderful review which is motivating me a lot. I myself had a nice experience thanks to you. I had a good opportunity to learn about Metropolitan Outer Underground Discharge Channel. I hope you enjoy the rest of the tour in Japan. Take care. Best regards, Akira
