“ Tour of Tokyo ”

Very flexible and open. Originally we already had a schedule but since we already covered some sites she was very flexible and accommodating to change and tried to solve all our problems.

Toshi(T-chan):

Thank you, Hanna! It was great to meet you and your family. You made a good choice in Odaiba. It's both family-friendly and wheelchair-accessible. Perfect for your kids and your mom! It was hard to leave the pet shop, wasn't it? The sweet 2-month old puppies were calling your name! Did you enjoy exploring the digital art museum on your own? We were lucky to get tickets at the door. (They must have been leftovers from online sales.) I hope you can all make it back in either the spring or the fall. Both have its unique charms--cherry blossoms in the spring and chrysanthemums in the fall. Hope to see you again soon!

“ Book Toshi ASAP for your trip to Tokyo ”

Toshi met me at my hotel (where she was early) and we sat to plan the day. She presented me with maps (to keep) and off we went. She was exactly what I was looking for in a guide. She was very knowledgeable and pointed out details that I would have missed like why there are fish on top of the Imperial Palace buildings to which store Lady GaGa bought a costume from and how to correctly cleanse and bow at the temples. We crammed in a ton and she even worked longer than our scheduled tour to make sure I made it back to the hotel. I wish I had booked Toshi for my entire stay, she was fantastic.

Toshi(T-chan):

Thank you, Colleen! I'm humbled by your glowing review. It was quite an enjoyable day for me too! We managed to see both the traditional and edgy parts of Tokyo in 4 hours. The East Garden of the Imperial Palace was so serene, we could hardly believed we were in the center of Tokyo! In Harajuku, the high-tech sushi train was a lot of fun even for us grownups, wasn’t it? The chirping sound the iPad (which takes orders) gave off was a surprise. The sushi we ordered arrived via shinkansen (bullet train). So cute! Please come back soon! Let's explore the area more! Each season brings something different to Tokyo! Hope to see you soon!

“ Best tour guide we ever had ”

My family of 4 really enjoyed T-chan as our tour guide in Tokyo. Being this was our first trip to Tokyo, we wanted to make sure we had the best experience and T-chan really made sure of that. She went above and beyond for us. Explaining the history of each place as we went through. She was very informative and easy to understand. In addition she was very accommodating to our needs. Thank you T-chan for the best tour we ever had, we definitely will come back to Tokyo and request for you again.

Toshi(T-chan):

Hi Jacob! Glad to hear you and your family enjoyed our tour as much as I did. It was fun to get to know you all. Lucky you! We could catch a glimpse of a wedding in Meiji-jingu shrine. It's a rare sight to see on weekdays. Then we enjoyed window shopping in Harajuku. So many unique stores to check out! Don’t you think so? Everything looks so colorful and cute! Who would have thought such decorative and cute ice creams are available there? What do you think about the chicken-mango and unicorn-mint shape ice creams taste like? It's picture perfect, right? Hope you enjoy the rest of your stay in Japan! Please come back soon!

“ Perfect Tokyo experience ”

Tchan was the perfect guide for our family. Warm, kind, and informative, T-chan both took us to parts of the city we would not otherwise have visited, and gave us an insiders view of those places that are frequented by tourists. Her restaurant selection both days made the experience even more memorable and her ability to communicate her deep knowledge of the tradition and culture of each place we visited helped our kids grasp the significance of this opportunity.

Toshi(T-chan):

Arigato, Paul! (Thank you) So glad to hear you enjoyed our two-day tour. It’ fun to walk around Kagurazaka, wasn’t it? The amazing parts were the preserved traditional wooden houses and establishments in narrow back alleys. And who would think we would find a gem – a classic Japanese restaurant, at the narrow end of one of the alleys there. The guest room that we were ushered into was unexpectedly beautiful because of its decorative alcove. The whole place was undoubtedly Japanese, thanks to the female staff in Kimono, wasn’t it? Please come back soon! There's so much more I have to show you! Matane! (Hope to see you again!)

“ Very friendly guide ”

Toshi was always on time for our meeting. She asked us what we wanted to do and made good suggestions. She was always responsible and accomodated my mother's needs.

Toshi(T-chan):

Thank you, Theodros and Fantaye! The weather was indeed very cooperative on our tour dates. We were quite lucky to see the traditional festival (Sanja Festival) and portable shrine parades in Asakusa. We had so much fun shopping! Please come back so we can explore more of Tokyo together (on a different season perhaps?). Hope to see you again!
