Miss Kioko was very keen on understanding our interests, describing very well details of the visited sites, history and up dates of Tokio city. During the tour we visited Tukiji fish market where we had a very nice coffee, tried oyster and sea urchin and learn about the market. Then, we moved to Tokyo Sky Tree. This place was a surprise visit with wonderful weather, where we could see Mount Fuji!. Then we went to Asakusa and visited Sensouji temple , Tokyo's oldest temple. We saw beautiful huji carps. Then move to Tokyo station and Imperial Palace outer garden, Hibiya Park, for a very peaceful and enjoyable walk when we got to know the whereabouts of Japan history. At the end , we said good by in Ginza. Miss Kioko was full of energy and got us excited to a enjoy our day in a very nice way.... read more
Thank you Arianne san for writing a concrete and wonderful review for me! You are such a kind and wonderful couple that I enjoyed a lot while spending time with you. The day had a perfect winter weather to see Mt Fuji from Tokyo Sky Tree. So , I am extremly happy that we could suddenly decide to go there and jumped out of the train we were riding. Thiago san loves fish so much , so I wanted to have a lunch in Tukiji's sushi restaurant but due to timing , we had lunch in Asakusa's famous Japanese restaurant. I like the place but it is not a sushi restaurant. What I worried was he might not eat nicer sushi there than authentic sushi restaurants in Tukiji. This is why I recommended he should eat the most expensive sushi there. He was very kind to listen to my advice and had it. I was m... read more
Wow - what an awesome guide. Kyoko was a very hospitable and courteous hostess. The almost two days together were great. One day we don’t approx 45 mins South of Tokyo city where we stopped at Kamkura. There we spent the day visiting shrines, temples, shopping, Big Buddha and then return trip to Tokyo. The second day we spent in Tokyo city. WD started at the seafood market where I tried sea urchin & eel. Then onto, a beautiful garden in the city, Ueno park. Then onto Tokyo National museum.
Thank you very much for writing a wonderful review, Roz-san. I could spend comfortalbe 2 days due to nice weathers and your kindness. Beautifully colored leaves welcomed us in Kamakura. Maple trees were red and ginkgo trees were yellow which gave us nice shutter chances. Ueno was also beautifully colored but the atmosphere was different from Kamakura. In Tukiji , we luckily had a chance to see tuna opening show. I clould learn a lot from your excellent camera skill. Anyway, I also enjoyed so much together with you. Looking forward to meeting you and your family again in the near future!!
We engaged Kyoko-San for 2 days to show us around Tokyo. It was very easy to connect with her, understand what we could do, work out the logistics and so on. As our trip approached, she got in touch regularly to confirm final detail on logistics from our side. On both days, she was very prompt - arrived early so we didn’t have to wait, took good care to make sure that we felt totally comfortable as we navigated through Tokyo subway and streets, have us a lot of information about the sights, Tokyo, Japan and so on. She made it possible for us to get the most out of our first trip to Tokyo with limited time (as we were just breaking journey on our way to Australia).
Thank you very much, Ravikumar-san ,for writing me so nice a review! I am also very happy to have been able to walk with you and your beautiful family!! You quickly enjoyed Shinjuku, Asakusa, and Odaiba in those two days (half days each). But you are very accustomed to traveling , so I didn't care so much about your plan most of which had been already reserved by you. I especially liked your daughters' calligraphy class. They not only wrote Japanese Kanji characters beautifully but also behaved very well whole through the tours. I easily understand how much love their parents poured to them! I also loved the ramen restaurant which you found. It was my first experience to eat vegitalian ramen which tastes unbelievably good. This was your very short and hasty visit ,but I believe y... read more
I had an amazing day with Kyoko exploring Tokyo. I learned so much about Japan's history, she really knows her stuff! She was very flexible when I was deciding where I wanted to go and is just a very lovely person. Highly recommended
Thank you very much for your excellent review, Emma-san! I am very happy to have been with you , especially your request of Happy Pancake. I had never heard of it and if you hadn't been here, I would have never waited in line for a pancake. But we were rewarded! I am impressed by you young people's ability of catching new information. I am also happy that you could get a cute lucky charm in Hanazono Shrine. I hope you will come back to Japan again and we can meet again in the near future!
