This tour, I will show you my favorite area in Tokyo. I live in about 15 minutes by metro from this area, so I visit quite often there.
This tour features sections of urban bustle and peaceful quiet zone with different personalities coexisting side by side.
Meiji-jingu is grandest Shinto shrine in Tokyo situated in a 700,000 square meter forest in Shibuya.
It is a special oasis in the midst of all the big-city hustle and bustle.
Omotesando, Aoyama area,it's a fashionable strip lined with high-end boutiques. Those designer shops come in designer buildings so also one of the best places in the city to see contemporary architecture.
Nezu museum in Aoyama designed by Kengo Kuma who designs 2020 Tokyo Olympic main stadium.
This museum preserve and display Japanese and East Asia antique art from the collection of it's founder, Kaichiro Nezu.
Finally, we move to Shibuya and cross one of the world's busiest intersection, guaranteed to give you a "I'm in Tokyo!" feeling.
Great guide! She will take you to some really nice (old Tokyo) places you will probably not find without a local.
Atsuko showed us so much in a very short time, it was interesting and fun.
Atsuko spent a lot of time preparing for my custom tour and did a wonderful job. Here English is very strong, and she is truly charming. She took care of every detail and did a superb job. I recommend her to anyone without reservation! Perfection.
Mrs. Atsuko is an amazing guide! I really enjoyed the visit of Daiba with Atsuko and the great lunch at the Japanese restaurant that Atsuko arranged for me. The water cruise was also a fun experience since we lucked out to get on board to the coolest ship. I want to thank you again for everything you did during my stay in Tokyo. I will keep on learning Japanese and hope when we meet next time, I can speak more. Best wishes to you and your family.
This day was the highlight of my Tokyo trip. It was my first visit to Japan. Thanks to Atsuko, I got to know Tokyo and the main attractions. She was waiting for me at the hotel reception even before the time. We went to different places and areas using the subway which helped me to understand the subway system in Tokyo. She was very keen to explain the background of all the places we visited. She even did the effort to find a traditional Japanese restaurant with HALAL food. To make long story short, the day tour with Atsuko was very enjoyable and helpful. I recommend anyone- specially first time vistors- to go with Atsuko. That will give you a very good highlight of Tokyo.
This tour covers Tokyo's popular sightseeing spots. You can enjoy Japanese culture through sightseeing, delicious seafood cuisine made from freshly caught fish. Then cross Tokyo Bay with a view of Rainbow Bridge on cruise. Odaiba is New Tokyo Waterfront Subcenter and huge amusement zone.
