What to Expect

-In Taishakuten, you will see its famous Japanese garden and the adornment of intricate wooden carvings, portraying a scripture of Buddhism.

-On the Edo River, you will experience Yagiri No Watashi (a rowboat that takes passangers across the Edo river) which has been designated as one of Japan's 100 soundscape selections.

“ Greatest in Tokyo!! ”

I would definitely recommend Koichi for first time visitiors to Tokyo. He takes care of every small bit to make you feel comfortable. He explained us so much about history . Great experience. Best of luck to him:) he is a star

Koichiro:

Bala, thank you for the great words! I'll do my best to live up to them. I'm honored that I could guide you Tokyo on your 1st day in Japan. Also I'm glad that I could introduce you delicious vegetarian ramen and sweets in Asakusa and Tsukiji, a rainbow cotton candy and a cat cafe to your daughter😁 It was a priceless experience for me that I could learn about Buddhism from a viewpoint from people in India. Thank you for everything and I hope you'll have a memorable trip to Kyoto👍 Koichiro

“ First class Tokyo tour ”

This is my first time in Japan and I cannot speak highly enough of Koichiro. Extremely professional yet relaxed and friendly, he could not have been more helpful and reassuring (I have never travelled alone before and I'm generally quite an a anxious person especially in places I haven't been before). He is flexible with the tour itinerary and very kindly accommodated my need to find a very specific shop which he was not obliged to do. I couldn't have hoped for a better guide and he made sure I had the very best day I could wish for. 100% recommended.

Koichiro:

Hi Joanna, I'm glad that I could guide you Tokyo's finest places (Tsukiji, Hamarikyu Gardens, Asakusa, and Akihabara)! Because I knew it was a important trip for you, I'm more than happy to know you enjoyed the time and I hope now you like Tokyo more than before. Thank you for the positive words and introducing me to some culture in England that I was not familiar with which has been always precious experience for me! Hope you have a enjoyable trip on the reminder of the days😁 Koichiro

“ Hanging out in Odaiba ”

For our last full day in Tokyo, I decided to book a guide to somewhere less hectic. I saw that Koji had spent some time in Southern California, where most of our group were from, and decided to contact him to see what we could put together. I'm very glad that I did; I suggested we go to Odaiba (I had heard about it from a friend), and even though PROBABLY NOBODY EVER hires a guide to go there, Koji put together a great itinerary nonetheless. Everyone had a fun time, and Koji improvised as we went along in order to maximize the number of things we could do while keeping the tour as relaxed as we'd hoped. He was extremely good at reading the mood and interests of our group in order to suggest what we might do next, but still led us smoothly to places at the right time, such as precisely miss... read more

Koichiro:

Hi Seth, thank you for taking your time to write a great review, I'll do my best to live up to it👍 On the day, we spent a whole day in Odaiba. Because I knew it was especially special for your daughter Evie, I'm happy that she could ride on the Ferris wheel at about sunset and could have a front seat on the monorail to have the best night views of the city and Rainbow Bridge! There were lot of special things to mention... Thank you and I hope all of us will keep cherishing the day😁 Koji

“ Great Introduction to Tokyo by Koichiro! ”

We were very fortunate to have Koichiro guide us for the afternoon in Tokyo. He is informative, helpful and a great guide to navigate us through the countless streets of Asakusa to find the best spot! It was Jonny's first time in Tokyo, so Koichiro was very kind and patient with him to make sure Johnny didn't miss a spot! Koichiro took us to a very unique Sake tasting spot that we would have never found on our own. Ended up in Akihabara where we again ended up at a spot for great beer under an old train station. We truly enjoyed his company and was sad to say farewell. Johnny was soo appreciative and felt spending time with an old friend. We truly had a great afternoon. Thank you!

Koichiro:

Hi Lisa, it was great pleasure that I was able to guide you and Jonny Asakusa, Akihabara and to have an awesome time, food, and drinks together😋 Both of you reminded me of the feeling when I was staying in Southern California that I'd forgotten and was reminded everything is possible if we don't give up.. Thank you for your willingness to enjoy the time, I wish you both a happy life together, and hope to see you soon😃 Koichiro

“ One day tour of interesting site places ”

Koichiro it’s a wonderful guide. I was on a business trip and had only one day to tour the city it took me wherever I wanted to go he was very polite and easy to talk to and made me feel really comfortable he was also very knowledgeable about the places we visited and navigating through Tokyo I would highly recommend his services to anyone who wants to have a personal experience it was well worth the money

Koichiro:

Hi Diane, thank you for taking your time to write a positive review of me😃 I'm glad that I could take you to the places - Teamlab, Asakusa, and Harajuku - that we previously planned for your first day in Asia. It was a privilege to have been able get to know how your living is in New Jersey. I hope your daughter will like the jacket you bought in Harajuku, you'll keep liking the experiences in Tokyo, and hope to see you again. Thank you!! Koichiro
