“ A memorable morning ”

My daughter and I only had two days in Tokyo and since we have always enjoyed private guides, I decided Haruko seemed like she would fit right into our "girls adventure". We found Haruko to be very fluent in English, personable, informative, and patient. She did more than she had to do. I mentioned that we were interested in Japanese fabrics so she took us to her custom kimono tailor and they were very welcoming, although they obviously were busy with customers, and the visit was fascinating. Thank you Haruko!

“ Amazing tour guide - FANTASTIC! ”

Haruko is an excellent tour guide. Coming from the U.S. and only have three full days in Tokyo, we used her as our guide the first day. We knew we wanted to go to the fish market, but otherwise really left it up to her. She planned a great fun-filled day for us, seeing six different sites, and took us to a fabulous lunch and taught us how to use the Metro with ease. She is very knowledgeable about Tokyo and Japanese history as a whole. I would definitely recommend her!

“ Wonderful tour of fish market & trip to Asakusa ”

We thoroughly enjoyed our day touring with Haruko. Our group included my wife, our 20 year-old niece, and our 3.5 year old son. Haruko did a great job making things fun for our little guy, such as bringing bubbles to play with while we waited to board the water taxi at Hama-rikyu garden and finding a great shaved-ice spot at the fish market. Highly recommended.

“ Wonderful morning at the Tsujiki fish market! ”

Haruko is an outstanding guide and was extremely accommodating to our family’s needs. She was flexible and let us choose where we wanted to go and would recommend different shops and food stalls to stop. At each of these little vendors she encouraged us to try the different types of Japanese delicacies. We had sushi for breakfast and she took us to an amazing little restaurant that served the freshest sushi. Haruko was very engaging with our two boys (9 and 10) and knew how to make the experience fun for them as well. I even received an email from her afterwards with more interesting facts about the fish market, that she didn’t have time to explain to us on the tour. We really enjoyed our time with Haruko and are sure you will too - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

“ A fabulous guide! ”

Haruko exceeded my expectations in every way. She picked out the most important sites for me to see in a short time, as well as explaining all about their significance and their history. I asked for her to arrange a tea ceremony and she did. She is an absolutely delightful woman who is smart , educated articulate, informed and a delight to be with. I can't say enough about how wonderful she was and how she made my trip to Tokyo the memory of a lifetime.
