East Gardens of the Imperial Palace is one of the Must-See spots in Tokyo, I believe.
The gardens are quite beautiful and there was the castle of the Capital approximately four hundred years ago and now around there is the business center of Japan.
After visiting the East Gardens, we will visit Ueno Park, which also has some historical buildings and wonderful museums.
What to Expect
You can see one of the most beautiful Japanese gardens in Tokyo and have an overview of the capital Tokyo and about the Shoguns and the Imperial family.
We will visit many Instagram spots in the East Gardens, Tokyo Station and Ueno Park.
If you would like to visit the Tokyo National Museum or Ueno Zoo, I will guide you to the entrances and give an overview where to go to see the things of your interest, so you could take your time on your own if you would like to.
TNM has an excellent collection of Buddhist statues, swords, Ukiyoe, woodblock paintings, kimono, paintings etc.
Some people spend the whole afternoon at the museum.
No Mondays or Fridays, because East Gardens are closed
No Mondays and Fridays tour, because East Gardens will be closed on Mondays and Fridays and the Tokyo National Museum will be closed on Mondays except National Holidays.
