Whether you just got off the plane and you want to get acquainted with the city or you are in town for a very short time and you want to take in as much as possible, this
tour could just be your best solution. By moving around Tokyo by train and on foot we will be skipping back and forth from the quiet neighbourhoods to the crowded
spots, from small wooden houses to skyscrapers in just 8 hours.
Feel free to personalize this offer with Fulvio.
Kiyosumi Shirakawa's garden gives you a taste of traditional Japan more crowded spots just can't convey.
At the temple of Monzen Nakacho it is possible to attend the daily ceremony, expect drums, chants, fire and a quite intense atmosphere.
The ceremony is held four times a day and lasts about 30 minutes.
Akihabara is called the Electric City, Tokyo's hub of electronics, anime and manga. The kind of crowd attracted to this area is quite a colourful one:
prepare to see the kind of things that will make you say "only in Japan!".
After the subdued atmosphere of AkiOka (closed on Wednesdays), the former postwar black market of AmeYoko will show you the kind
of bustle you probably expect from Tokyo.
Food stalls aplenty here, the underground chinese food market is worth a visit too.
Ueno park hosts some of Tokyo's most important museums and the zoo but the Toshogu shrine and the face of the big Buddha statue are its hidden treasures.
It takes about 20 minutes on foot from Ueno park to Yanaka but it is definitely worth it. It is 5 minutes by train, but then you lose the feeling of slow
transition to the old town. Anyway even from Nippori station it is always a pleasure to approach the market street of Yanaka Ginza and its iconic staircase.
Guide fee is included. Hotel pick-up within Tokyo's central area is also included.
Guide and guests' transportation fee is not included (a rough estimate of the train tickets would be 1500 yen).
Meals are not included.
Entrance to Kiyosumi Shirakawa garden is not included (150 yen per person)
For tours within Tokyo's central area guide's transportation fee and hotel(or another place of choice) meetup
are included. However for more distant locations an extra-fee (2000 yen) is charged.
The only entrance fee is the one to Kiyosumi's garden (150 yen).
Taking pictures is not allowed at the temple of Monzen Nakacho. Also visitors must take off
their shoes when entering the premises.
AkiOka market cannot be visited on Wednesdays.
Large part of this tour is actually a stroll through the city, for those who find extensive walking taxing or unpleasant
a mild-paced route with more train transfers can be followed.
Along the way other spots can be added to this route (the Fukagawa Edo Museum, Tsukishima, Tsukiji, Ginza, Ochanomizu, Nezu...),
also some of the featured places can be skipped: just let me know what interests you the most and
we can devise a route that suits your expectations more fully. read more

El tour fue muy divertido y dinámico. Fulvio contesto a todas nuestras preguntas y con él conocimos lugares que seguramente no hubiéramos podido conocer solos. Super recomendable!
Really great tour guide. Did tour in Speanish and English. He’s quite knowledgeable about Japan, has great insights into less touristy areas, and a great sense of humor. Appreciated his willingness to check on the comfort of everyone as we were a mixed-aged bilingual group. Thank you Fulvio for a great day.
Fulvio cumplió todas nuestras expectativas y más. Su español es excelente y tiene disposición de adaptarse a las necesidades y requerimientos de los clientes. We had a great experience with Fulvio! Muchas gracias!
Gracias a vosotros para compartir sus experiencias con mi. Y para la crema de tequila!!!
We had a wonderful time with Fulvio, he took us to very special places in Tokyo, answered all our questions and tryed to satisfy all our requests. We would recommend him to anyone travelling there.
Grazie mille!
Grazie Fulvio!!
