What to Expect

This tour takes you another face of Tokyo. Tokyo is not only heated hectic metropolitan area but also it has full of nature in suburbs. The tour provides you an opportunity to enjoy cool fresh air, truly greenly scenery, clear water of streams and a lake thorough out the tour.
First destination of the tour is Hatonosu Ravine. Beneath an approximately 40m long cliff, the Tama river runs amidst the huge crags and rocks Hatonosu Ravine. We take walking trail along the ravine with gorgeous views. The walking trail is about 2km (1.5 mile) long or 90 minutes.
Next destination is Lake Shiromaru where we will enjoy kayaking for one to two hours. The lake is calm, so if you are first time, you not necessary to worry.
After kayaking we will move to Sawanoi where traditional Sake brewery is located.

“ Adventure to Kamakura ”

Ryuta provided an excellent journey to ancient Samurai capital of Kamakura. Meeting us in Tokyo provided a stress free day of travel all the way to escorting us back to Tokyo. One of us is a vegetarian and Ryuta went to extra efforts to find the perfect lunch spot. Overall a terrific day outside of Tokyo.

Ryuta:
Kurt san Thank you very much for your kind message. It was really fun with you and your mother in Kamakura. Please have a enjoyable trip to Kyoto and Kanazawa. I am looking forward seeing you again.

“ Great visit and tour of Tokyo, Wonderful guide in Ryuta. ”

Ryuta was wonderful! I was traveling to Tokyo with wife and young child (2 years old) and was looking for a more intimate and personal view of the city with emphasis on history and culture while also taking into account the needs of my young child to be a little boy and have fun. Ryuta did an excellent job of balancing my desire for history and culture while also incorporating fun activities for my child and wife. Ryuta is extremely knowledgable regarding Tokyo, culture and Japan's history and easily answered my questions and was able to expound upon them in great depth. He also anticipated with great skill my anticipated questions and desires and worked them into our tour. Ryuta was prompt and on time for our tour, spoke excellent English, and clearly went out of his way to make our visit of Tokyo a truly wonderful and memorable experience. Would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone seeking a guided tour of Tokyo.

Ryuta:
Thank you very much for the finest comment on my tour. It is really really enjoyable tour for me with you, your wife and your child. So many Japanese who saw your child said cute or KAWAII in Japanese. I am eagerly looking forward welcoming you all and your new child in Japan in the nearest future. Thanks again, Ryuta

“ Great Guide for Introduction to Japan ”

Ryuta took me to Kamakura for a tour of beautiful, historic temples, shrines and a lovely soba noodle lunch. Ryuta helped me design a perfect day introduction to Japan that included traditional green tea at a beautiful tea house, an overview of the subway and rail system and a little Japanese politics. His national certification allows him to be well versed in all the sights and he has a keen understanding of the traditions of Japan as well as the modern dynamics of this great country. I would thoroughly recommend Ryuta as an expert guide who will give you a memorable introduction to Japan or deepening of your understanding of its history and historic sights. I had a great day and the money was well spent.

Ryuta:
David san Thank you for your generous message. It was really enjoyable tour with you and learned a lot of knowledge about flowers and plants that you expartized. And Jazz, of course! Please visit Japan again. I am looking forward seeing you soon. Best regards, Ryuta
