No Sundays/Wednesdays/holidays for Tsukiji, Sumo session availability depends on the training house schedule.
Visiting today's most charming spots in Tokyo, feel the beat of this attractive city with a local private guide..
Pick up either Tsukiji fish market for professional buyers or Sumo training house morning session.
Additionally, through Tokyo's meticulously organized train/subway system, we will cover today's hot spots: Harajuku, Shibuya, Shinjuku, Ueno/Yanaka or Akihabara district.
If Tsukiji and Sumo are out of your interest, some other tourist spots can be substituted. I can adjust visiting spots according to your group's specific interest
Tsukiji fish inner market is not the tuna auction, and is closed on Sundays, Wednesdays or holidays. They are not open to public until 10am. No photo taking allowed.
Sumo training house availability depends on their schedule. Minimum 4 day prior notice is required. Also, patronage finance of 3000jpy per PERSON is asked by the training house..
Tsukiji and Sumo can not be arranged on the same day. Either spot requires minimum1.5 hours in total(arrive/leave) so we might have to skip some spots described above.
Indulge yourself in deep culture and subculture here in Tokyo!
Arti provided much in depth information for first timers taking the train from Tokyo which made it easy for us to purchase the right tickets and meet him at the meeting point. During the tour, he shared history and was quick to answer any questions we had. Touring with a local was an excellent experience, so different from the standard group tours and Arti brought us to shop from the source rather than souvenir shops. We totally enjoyed the tour with Arti and highly recommend him!
Akira was an excellent guide. We got to see everything that we wanted to see.
Excellent work! Everybody in the family enjoyed our tour - there was something for everybody. We've learned a lot about local culture, history and traditions. Our guide was very knowledgable and has excellent communication skills - it was very fun. Highly recommend!
Let's ride in the pure air of Mt. Fuji with the lake breeze. The experienced rider with English speaking guide license will take you to the branch roads which are known to the locals only.
