“ Excellent and patient guide ”

Yuki did an excellent job showing up around Meiji shrine and Senso-Ji temple as well as taking us on a day trip to Hakone to view Mt.Fuji (includes many different forms of transportation). He was very helpful with helping us navigate the metro, trains, buses particularly with having a stroller and needing to use elevators at times. He was also very patient with our almost 5 year old who was holding Yuki’s hand by the end of the tour.

Yuki:

Dear Katherin, Thank you for taking your time for the nice review. It was Saturday, so Hakone was still crowded at the end of the autumn color season. I tried to make the tour easy and we were lucky to see the gracious Mt. Fuji. Please give my best regards to your family. Yuki

“ An insightful and energetic guide! ”

If you want to make the most of a short visit, I highly recommend hiring Yuki. This was my first trip to Tokyo and of course wanted to see everything, which is ridiculous. Yuki patiently fielded my many requests and crafted an itinerary that let me sample places I was most interested in. He kept us moving along on schedule, though I never felt pressured and enjoyed my time. He also took me on short detours that gave me a more local perspective. An intelligent and charming travel companion, Yuki sports a dapper homburg that is easy to spot in a crowd. I could never have accomplished this visit by myself. Thank you Yuki for an enjoyable introduction to this amazing metropolis!

Yuki:

Dear Carol, Thank you for writing a review of my tour. I am very glad that you have satisfied with the tour. It was a great challenge for me to cover so many places within a limited time. Please enjoy your cruising from Yokohama. Yuki

“ A perfect Fall day trip n Kamakura ”

Yuki is a wonderful, warm, and very knowledgeable tour guide. He took us on a day trip to the historical coastal town of Kamakura which is a village dating back to Yoritomo’s shogunate government in 1192. Kamakura lies amid wooded hills filled with ancient Buddhist temples and Shinto shrines. Yuki took us to see the amazing Great Buddha, beautiful Hasedera Temple, and the Hokokuji Temple with an interesting serene bamboo garden. Along the way Akira told us history and stories of the temples and the Goddess of Mercy (Kannon). We also had a delicious lunch treat at a local restaurant with home cooked meal. We really enjoyed our lovely Fall weather day trip in Kamakura with Yuki. Thank you very much, Yuki!

Yuki:

Dear Mandy, Thank you for the detailed review of my tour including your understanding of Japanese history. I was very happy you enjoyed my story of each place. Sorry for the poor autumn colors in this year because of the salt deposit due to the windy typhoon which is very rare. Please give my best regards to your husband and friends. Yuki

“ Excellent, thoughtful guide. ”

Extremely thorough and well planned. We would highly recommend Yuki to anyone visiting Japan. Yuki made our first Tokyo and Yokohama experience so enjoyable, allowing us to navigate our desired locations without having to stress about the confusing train routes, signs, language issues, etc. He also found us popular-priced wonderful restaurants that we all enjoyed. He also helped us buy tickets for the high-speed rail line, making the purchase process much easier for us.

Yuki:

Dear Linda, Thank you for your nice review of my tour. It was a new experience for me to look around high end shopping malls. It is difficult to find a good restaurant in Harajuku area during week end. I was glad you liked the place. Please give my best regards to the others, too. Yuki

“ A great a la carte day in Tokyo with Yuki ”

My family and I had a wonderful day with Yuki seeing the three main sights of Tokyo that we were keen to visit: Meiji Shrine, Imperial Palace East Garden and Senso-Ji Temple. Yuki kindly greeted us at our Disney Resort hotel and helped us with our tickets and train choices throughout the day, and ensured we finished the day on the correct train back to Maihama. Although we were a little slow due to sore feet and blisters from a few prior busy days at Disneyland and Sea, Yuki allowed for this and made sure he minimised the additional miles that can come with walking tours. He had a very calming demeanour and was really quite knowledgeable about the history of the places we visited, and our ramen lunch was excellent. Thanks again to Yuki, we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him for a grea... read more

Yuki:

Dear Grant, Thank you so much for writing such a generous review of my tour. I was very happy when you and your family listened to my explanation of the history and culture of our country. I hope those kinds of information make your trip to Kyoto and Nara more interesting. Please give my best regards to your family, too. Yuki
