The wholesale area of Tsukiji moved to Toyosu on October 11th, 2018 but its outer market stays at Tsukiji where we can enjoy good sushi and delicious Japanese foods.
I have a one day tour to Kyoto from Tokyo, but you have to pay the cost of about 30,000 JPY per person for the transportation of you and me.
This tour is limited version of the full day version under the same name.
Those who not accustomed to walk a long distance or don't have enough time may take this tour to save cost.
East garden of Imperial palace will be closed on Monday and Friday.
Most of shops and restaurant in Tsukiji will be closed on Sunday and Wednesday.
The wholesale market of Tsukiji opens to public from 11:00AM but there are not much fish to see at that time, so I recommed to visit the outer market only.
We use the subways to visit the places. The cost is about 500 per an adult. I will rend you an IC card for public transportation, please pay me the amount you have spent at the end of the tour.
The following is typical schedule.

It was our first visit to Japan and we were a little daunted by the language barrier as we only speak English at home. We are from Australia and were looking forward to our upcoming holiday in Japan when we decided to find out if we could get a guide to assist us early in our trip. That way we hopefully would have a grasp of how to use the train system in Japan along with any information for interacting with the locals. Yuki was a great guide for us and he was very freindly, helpful and patient with our two kids, particularly our 3 year old as the days could be quite long for the little ones. We found Yuki on Triplelights and we could not have been happier with another guide. Yuki was professional , punctual and very friendly. Yuki was very good and keeping us updated on his travel itine... read more
Dear Troy, Thank you for writing such a elaborate review of my Kyoto tour. I am very happy that your family enjoyed Kyoto with me. Best regards, Yuki
Yuki guided us on a garden tour. He communicated before our trip and kept us well informed. He was courteous and knowledgeable on the tour. We had an excellent experience.
Dear Bill, Thank you for writing a review of my tour. I was very happy to take you around the Japanese Gardens in Tokyo. Yuki
Yuki was an excellent guide for my whirlwind discovery of life and places in Tokyo and Kyoto Japan. My journey started with Yuki in Tokyo where we visited several locations introducing me to life past and present in Tokyo. He also gave me an exposure to the vast transportation system in Tokyo. I feel that I can now do more discoveries when I again visit Tokyo. Yuki and I started our Kyoto journey by riding the bullet train from Tokyo Station to Kyoto. This ride gave me a quick view of urban and rural Japan. Once in Kyoto Yuki took me on a path of discovery. We explored many examples of the Edo period of Japans history. Temples, castles, gardens and forests along with several unique culinary delights made the two days in Kyoto memorable. The hotel in Kyoto with an onsen bath was greatly ... read more
Dear David, Thank you for taking my tours of Tokyo and Kyoto. The tours went very well with nice weather. It takes time to use Uber for trial but I learned how it works. I am very happy that you have enjoyed my tour specially arranged for you. Looking forward seeing you again! Yuki
We wanted to visit Nissan Heritage Collection in Zama, because I‘m a big fan of all the cars from Nissan and its history. It requires an interpreter to visit the museum if you don‘t speak Japanese, so I contacted Yuki about this special tour. I told Yuki what we wanted and he organized everything. He contacted the museum, booked the tour and sent me the schedule. I told Yuki that this is OK and confirmed the tour. One week before the tour Yuki contacted me and told me where he will wait for us. On the day of the tour he called us in our hotel room when he arrived in our hotel and picked us up. At first we went in a traditional inconspicuous restaurant, where we had the best and lunch we’ve had the last two weeks here in Japan, and that for little money. After the lunch we conti... read more
Dear Patrick, Thank you for taking my tour. Their collection of 400 cars ever produced by Nissan was very impressive for me. I will introduce the collection to anyone being interested in Nissan cars. Please give my best regards to Merrisa, too. Yuki
Overall, found Yuri to be a very good tour guide. He met us on time at our hotel. He prepurchased train travel tickets for us. He knew the background and history of the Shrines and Temples we visited. The was kind and friendly, and opened to questions. He chose good places to eat, and got us back to our hotel in a timely manner. Anyone who is looking for a tour guide, I highly recommend him. Stuart
Dear Stuart, Thank you for writing such a good review of my tour. Kamakura is my favorite place and I am very happy you enjoyed my tour. Best regards, Yuki
