Can I make changes after I book?

Yes! If you need to make changes such as removing or adding someone to your booking or changing the date or time of your tour, contact us by phone or email

What happens after I book a tour?

After booking a tour, the guide will accept (or decline) your booking within 24 hours. Then you will be noticed by email from Triplelights.

The price is charged per group. Which means that you make a one-time payment for your entire group and the price will not change if it is less or more people.

Can I add more people to my booking?

Some guides accept extra people (more than the specified number) for an extra charge. Please check for the extras on the tour or booking page, or contact your guide directly to clarify.

Will there be other tourists in my tour?

No. Your tour is private, only for you and your family or friends, there will be no other group of tourists together in your tour.

Can the guide pickup me at the airport?

“ Great family tour of Tokyo ”

Arnold was the perfect guide for my jet lagged family. We arrived and hit the ground running. Arnold took us to all the best spots and accommodated the kids perfectly when they were getting tired. We saw the fish market, shrines, temples and the shopping in Shibuya. His recommendations were great and he was very personable but still professional. It was a great way to learn the transportation and feel of the city before we went out on our own. Arnold went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our day. I’d highly recommended him for any visitor to Tokyo.

“ Great Day in Tokyo with Arnold and my 14-year old son. ”

Arnold was fantastic. I picked him because he was younger and figure he could relate to my 14-year old son better and take us to some of the younger great spots and shopping Tokyo. We really enjoyed our time with him. He was very detailed in his itinerary he created for us based on the areas we wanted to see. His energy was upbeat and fun. Great Day!

“ Great Guide for First Day in Japan ”

In addition to wanting a guide to show us some of Tokyo’s temples we also thought it would be useful to have someone with us on the first day to help teach us to use Tokyo’s transport systems so we could make the most of our visit. Arnold advised on the best way to get around (not just Tokyo but Kyoto too) advised on the best payment method for travel and helped us purchase our IC cards. We visited 2 temples, both of which Arnold was knowledgeable about and gave us a deeper appreciation of than if we had visited alone. He also made additional suggestions of places to visit based on the conversations we had on the day of the tour and adapted the schedule so we could fit in other locations that interested us. “ Fun day out with Arnold ”

Arnold's English is impeccable! My children, 12 and 7 seemed to connect with him immediately. He was on time for hotel pick up and navigated the subway system with ease. He kept us on time. We went to Tsukiji market, Kabuki, Sengakuji temple, Harajuku and Meiji shrine. He saw to it that all of us enjoyed our day and let us rest when the little feet were tired. We had a great day with him.
