What to Expect

Let's feel a tranquil atmosphere of Shinto Shrine in the midst of metropolitan Tokyo and after that, you are going to visit Asakusa, which is in downtown Tokyo. Asakusa is a place of hustle and bustle. It always gives a festive atmosphere, quite different from the silence of Meiji Shinto shrine. I would like you to touch the difference between them. I also would like you to enjoy Japanese cuisine such as sushi, tempura, or soba and so on as you like.

I've been working as an adviser teacher of public junior high schools. I've been interested in guiding Japanese popular sightseeing spots to visitors from abroad. I'm really looking forward to meeting many tourists interested in Japanese culture and history. I really hope many people to know Japanese culture, including Japanese dishes.

“ Educated erudite tour guide in Tokyo ”

Met Akira online. We had only 2 full days on our visit so we opted for a guide both days all day. No car so we took many expensive taxis to save time. Akira was terrific. A retired English teacher with good language skills. He was so much more than a simple tour guide. We peppered him with a questions from history to current events. He took us to fish market and usual sights, we were there during peak cherry blossom season. Ate sushi with him for very first time in his fav place. Outstanding. Highly recommended.

Akira was very informative. Met us promptly at our hotel with a nice sign printed with our name on it. This helped us identify him. He took us to all of the sites as planned and shared lots of information regarding the history of the sites and the customs. Patiently taught me over and over how to say thank you as it took me a couple of times. Had a delicious lunch as well! Definitely money well spent!!
