“ Enjoyable day in Yokohama ”

Toshi met us at the cruise terminal for our 4 hour tour. We walked a lot along the area near the ship. She adjusted the itinerary per our request and took us to a traditional Japanese dance competition. We then set about 2 hours in Chinatown where we had lunch and walked the streets stopping at one temple. On our way back to the ship we walked through a pretty gardens. Her English is excellent.

Toshi(T-chan):

Thank you for the kind review, Sandi! It was indeed an enjoyable day! So what do you think of the Yosakoi dance? Wasn't it grand? Who would have thought traditional folk dance could mix well with rock’n roll? Can you remember the clothes of each of the dance teams? They wore their own distinctive modern Kimono. Next time, let’s explore Yokohama Sankeien garden together! It is like an antique architectural themed park. You would love it! Hope to see you again!

“ A perfect guide to show us Tokyo ”

T-Chan (Toshi) was so knowledgeable and professional ... Even before we arrived in Tokyo she answered our questions and helped us create an itinerary perfectly suited to our interests. Once we arrived, she was so accommodating - and her kind, generous personality made the trip even more fun. My highest recommendation !

Toshi(T-chan):

Thank you, Debbie! It was lovely to meet all of you. We, girls, had a great time shopping at Asakusa. Two hours was not enough to see all the stores there. It was good to see your husband having fun "fighting" against the sword master at the Samurai Museum. On a different note, I hope your father's book (which you co-wrote) is well-received in Japan!

“ Had a fantastic trip in Tokyo with Toshi!! Great Guide! ”

Great guide. Knows subways and can find elevators/escalators when available since I have a bum knee. Very knowledgeable about sites and restaurants. She is on time and communicates. Cant go wrong.

Toshi(T-chan):

Hi Sherrie! I quite enjoyed our two-day tour, too. Thank you for bringing beautiful sunny weather with you! The view from Tokyo Skytree was made more breathtaking by the clear skies. It gave us a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji's perfect cone! I was happy to see your photographer husband taking photo after photo in Odaiba. The many unique buildings by the Tokyo bayside were a sight to see, weren't they? It's an even richer experience in the spring. Temple and shrine grounds are reanimated with cherry blossoms in full bloom! It would be another wonderful photo opportunity for you and your husband. Hope to see you again soon!

“ Once in a lifetime experience ”

Toshi’s tour was amazing! Not only did her tour give my family and I an excellent understanding of Tokyo and the Japanese culture, but it also gave us extensive knowledge on the Imperial Palace, Harajuku and Shinbuya districts. I would suggest that you book Toshi at the beginning of your holiday as she really helped up navigate around Tokyo and arrange “must sees” for our trip. Truly a once in a lifetime experience that we will Never forget! Thank you 🙏🏻

Toshi(T-chan):

Thank you, Trish and Simon! I had a wonderful time with you, too! Wasn't Harajuku fun, particularly for your two teenage daughters? There are so many shops and animal cafes to check out. It was so hard to leave the puppies behind! So sweet and tiny! The Shibuya crossing was a sight to behold, wasn't it? Being one of the thousands of people making the crossing was quite an experience! WHEW!!!! Please keep in touch. Hope to see you again sometime soon!

“ Perfect guide for first day in Japan! ”

Toshi took us out on a half day tour in Tokyo on our first full day in Japan. We went to the Imperial Palace, Tsujiki fish market, and Asakusa. She also taught us how to buy tickets for/use the metro system and order sushi in a sushi restaurant! Toshi gave us lots of tips for the rest of our stay in Tokyo and we really appreciated all of the historical knowledge she was able to share about the sites we visited. We'd definitely recommend her as a guide!

Toshi(T-chan):

Hi Brendan! I quite enjoyed our tour, too. It was a miracle that there was no queue at the Tsukiji outer market restaurant. The counter seats right in front of the sushi chef was the best way to see him at work. Let me show you the new fish market in Toyosu next time! It opens in October 11. Hope to see you again soon!
