“ Like Family! ”

Our first 2 days in Tokyo would not have been the same without Toshi! Toshi took us to many of the highlights in Tokyo from food tour of Tsukiji Market to shrines in Asakusa to shopping in Harajuku and more shopping in Akihabara. She was very accommodating (and patient!) and flexible with all of our requests and any last minute changes. Most of all she felt like she was part of our family! We never felt like she was a tour guide but more like a family member showing us around. She is kind and knowledgeable and fun to be with! We miss Toshi already!

Toshi(T-chan):

Thank you so much, Elaine! I had a wonderful time with your family. Just like you, I also felt like a member of your family and I quite enjoyed your company. So glad that we managed to hit all the food you wanted to try in Tsukiji Fish Market. Harajuku was fun, wasn't it? Also, Purikura photos from the cute selfie photo booth are particularly good souvenirs. I was impressed that your 5-year-old son was very well-behaved. I already miss his smile, especially the one he showed us right after he got a rabbit-faced ice cream. Please come back, as Tokyo is an ever-changing city. Matane! (see ya in English)

“ Wonderful host ”

We spent two days with Toshi (T-chan). Her English is excellent. She was very gracious and accommodating, adjusting the sites we visited and the pace of the tour to our needs. She was very knowledgeable on Japanese history and culture. The high points of our included the observatory deck of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government building, the Shinjuku Gyoen Garden, the Samurai Museum, the Golden-gai (bar streets) of the Kabuki cho area, Odaiba, the Imperial Palace gardens, and matcha ice cream. We would definitely hire her again!

Toshi(T-chan):

Arigato, Ellen-chan and Jeff-chan! (Thank you!) We were very lucky to have seen quite a wide variety of cherry blossoms in Shinjuku Gyoen Garden. You're such a lovely couple! I hope the selfies you took with the cherry blossoms in the background came out well. We certainly had a lot of fun talking about Japanese culture: "herbivorous" young men , ladies' clubs (bars where good looking men serve and flatter women), sake, etc. We barely even scratched the surface of Tokyo! Let's explore more of it together sometime soon!

“ Fantastic Day In Tokyo with Toshi! ”

My parents and I had such a fun day on the 6h tour with Toshi. She showed us some of her city's highlights, mixing the old with the new while keeping us well-informed without being inundated with too much info. We thought she presented things in an engaging and totally enjoyable way. She's clearly passionate and experienced in doing tours; if we had more time in Tokyo we'd have loved to do more of her tours. Toshi is also very patient and allowed us to slow our tour down a bit for my dad, who doesn't walk well. Overall, great day. Nothing I would change about it. Thank you Toshi!

Toshi(T-chan):

Hi Jordan! Glad to hear you and your family enjoyed our tour as much as I did. It was fun to get to know you all. The scenic train ride was a pleasant way to get around, wasn't it? Odaiba was an exciting mix of the futuristic buildings and the wide variety of flowers on the ground. What a treat to still have some of the cherry blossoms this weekend! It was so gratifying to see you all enjoy checking out the small shops in Asakusa. Please come back to see the autumn foliage in late November! Let's explore the area further!

“ Great Tokyo tour ”

We had a lot of fun with Toshi. She showed us a great over look of Tokyo from the very new to some of the oldest sites with history of those places. She was very easy to understand. She also gave us some history of the culture and customs. Arigatogosaimas Toshi hopefully we will see you on our next trip to Tokyo.

Toshi(T-chan):

Thank you, Dmitry! We had a wonderful start yesterday as we visited the East Garden of the Imperial Palace. The atmosphere was so peaceful in the early morning hours that it felt like it was our private garden. Of course, we couldn't end the day without going to the Shibuya Crossing. Actually crossing the street looked more difficult than it was. It was exciting to be part of the 3,000 pedestrians (approximately) crossing the street at the same time, wasn’t it? Hope you enjoy the rest of your stay in Japan! Please come back soon!

“ Very Professional Guide ”

Toshi was a substitute for a different guide that canceled due to illness. I had also mistakenly scheduled our tour on a travel day so we weren’t sure what to expect. Toshi arrived with maps and written literature on how to navigate Tokyo. She guided us to two special events that we would have missed otherwise. We got a late start and Toshi stayed with us into her dinner time. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time with her and recommend T-Chan highly.

Toshi(T-chan):

It was a pleasant surprise to meet you both, Karole and Tom! We were indeed lucky to have seen two seasonal events as they were only available on our tour date. The Hanamatsuri festival in Zojoji Temple was something, wasn't it? The parade of monks, supporters, traditional firefighters, children, and Buddhist choir was a sight to see! The kimonos they were wearing are special ones just for the occasion. Another lucky coincidence was the fact that they opened the Imperial Palace to the public for the hanami (cherry blossom viewing). We're usually not allowed to go inside. It was fun to stroll the the streets within the palace grounds. Did it make you feel like royalty? (I certainly did!) Hope to see you soon!
