What to Expect

We go to Nasu by motorway and stop at Sesshoseki (Killing stone) and then to Nasu Heisei-no-mori Forest. We walk there around a couple of hours and have lunch.
There is no restaurant in that area so that you should buy your lunch at one of the covenience stores on the way to Nasu. After lunch if the weather permits we go to the ninth station of Chausudake mountain by ropeway. We enjoy spectacular scenery from there. Then dropping off at the visitor center to learn about Nasu. We pass through Nasu Imperial villa and we will drop by some souvenir shops if you like.

“ Friendly, resourceful and knowledgable ”

I was looking a few specific things that I couldn't find on triplelights so I posted the plan we were looking for. A few guides contacted me with alternatives but Jack was able to arrange exactly what we were looking for. Through the planning process and the tour, Jack was friendly, professional, resourceful, knowledgable and patient with our questions. We had a fantastic time with him and hope to have another chance to visit some places with Jack.

Jack:
Hi Evan, Thank you for your nice words. I throughly enjoyed taking you to the workshop and Toshogu shrine. Hope to see you again next time you come to Japan. Jack

“ Nikko Tour ”

Jack brought my parents to Nikko. Even though they were not proficient in English and were apprehensive about taking a train from Tokyo to Nikko, Jack was patient and took pains to make sure they arrive and depart safely. The tour was pleasant.

Jack:
Thank you for your evaluation. Hope your parents enjoyed the tour.

“ A great tour guide in Nikko ”

Jack made our 2 days' stay at Nikko a very pleasant experience. He was patient with my two noisy kids and flexible with our requests. The time at Edo wonderland was well spent with his guidance. We also enjoyed the waterfalls very much. He is a great local tour guide to recommend.

Jack:
Hello Hellen, Thank you very much for your nice words. Your kids must be enjoyed spending time in Disneyland. Jack

“ Very fruitful and pleasant walk ”

Glad that we engage Jack-san (you have to ask him how do he get his english name, haha) for the walk, he knows very well on the habitats of the park and very knowledgeable, although is a raining day (drizzling) however is a really fun walk. My personal opinion, should visit here during autumn and spring, will be very colourful. cheers!

Jack:
Hi Rdichard, It was a nice walk from Sainoko Iriguchi to Sainoko and Senjugahama. We heard another bad news yesterday. One old lady who went into the mountain to take bamboo shoots was killed by bear even she carried her two bear bells. Anyway we really enjoyed walking in the beautiful settings, didn't we? Thank you very much for your rating. I will send the photo by email soon. Best, Jack

“ Superb guide ”

We had a spare day in Tokyo and found your site and booked for the next day. We had a great day touring Nikko. Jack will go at your pace.. we wanted a relaxed day. His insights into Japanese culture are excellent. A memorable day. Thank you ever so much Jack. Matt Helga and Steve from Sydney.

Jack:
Thank you Matt, Helga and Steve. I had a lovely day with you all. Nikko offers both nature and man made beauty. You told me you wanted a relaxed day so I didn't take a lot of places you must see in Nikko. There are a lot of nice places to see in Japan but Nikko is one of the best. Thank you for your business.
