Lovely personality, great flexibility with the group and constant contact with everyone. Very good English, easy to understand. Very good itinerary, and she picked a great lunch place. Mt. Fuji Center and the special shrine we visited were fascinating. Would definitely use her again!!
Thank you Bob for a good review. I'm so happy to hear that you all enjoyed with me for visiting Mt. Fuji area. Only we could see a view of Mt. Fuji at the pier and on the local train. I also really had a good time with you all, so friendly persons. See you sometime in Japan.
I enjoyed two full-day tours with Yasuko visiting beautiful places in the vicinity of Mount Fuji. Yasuko was agreeable company and her well planned itinerary was responsive to the requirements I had requested as well as including surprises such as Mishima springs and vegetarian lunch (not so easy to find in Japan) at a small boutique restaurant.
Mark-san Thanks for writing a review. I'm so happy to be enjoyed these two-days tours around Mt.Fuji. Especially vegetarian lunch cafe named bain-marie in Mishima, because the chef, who worried about the dishes. So I will let him know about this. You will be back in Japan when you can see the view of Mt. Fuji. Thank you.
Our tour with Yasuko was a full day from Shimizu port to Mount Fuji. She planned every detail very well and made sure to tailor our itinerary to what we wanted to see. Yasuko is a charming, considerate guide who made the experience even more memorable. We got to see two important sights for half of what our ship tour would have cost.
I'm really happy to hear that you two could enjoy my tour to Mt. Fuji area. Of course, you were so lucky to have a view of Mt. Fuji very clearly on that day in this season. Will you come back in fall or winter? It would be much more beautiful scenery.
Yasuko designed a 6 hour tour experience for our group of 8 from the the cruise port in Shimizu. Her english is outstanding and she accommodated our needs very well making seamless adjustments to our program as needed. Highlights of our time together included - Learning about the upcoming festival featuring Samuri Warriors competing in a form of archery on horseback, A unique visit to the Duck Stationery Store, A visit to the wonderful Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha Shrine with its extensive buildings, garden, bridges and the cold clear waters of Watutama Pond, The Mt Fuji Heritage Centre. Although we had hoped for views of Mt Fuji, there was 100% cloud cover, so our visit to the Heritage Centre showed us the vision of what we could have seen. We also enjoyed the local noodle lunch at Fujin... read more
Thank you for writing a 5 stars review with my tour in Fujinomiya. On that day, it was not really good weather, so couldn't see a view of Mt. Fuji at all. But it often happens in this season. I'm so happy to hear that you all enjoyed it very much, especially visiting the stationary store with a duck manager. I hope you will be back in Japan again.
We only had 4 hours while ship was in port, but we did a lot! We stopped by a tea farm and then went to the Nihondaira plateau observation deck for a view of the gorgeous Mt. Fuji. We then visited the Kunozan Toshogu Shrine. This was very interesting but requires some stamina to climb up and down all the steep stone steps. Yasuko was an excellent guide and spoke very good English.
Dear Marla, Thank you for writing a review about my tour. I really happy to hear that you had a good experience. You're right a little tough to visit Kunozan Tōshō-gū shrine, but it was so gorgeous buildings. Have a wonderful rest of your trip in Japan. Thank you so much.
