Mana arrived early and was very flexible as we changed some plans because of the rain and closures. She provided us with a fascinating day and we saw a lot - Byodoin Temple, shrines, a textile centre, and she even helped us find a restaurant where one of our party could eat GF food. Her knowledge of Kyoto and environs, transport and culture is very good. Thank you Mana for a wonderful day! Helen and Betty
Dear Helen and Betty. I was so relieved to get your review. Because I heard Australian Prime Minister had banned the nation to travel abroad as many people have the Coronavirus overseas. So I was worried about your safe return.Thank you very much for choosing to come to Japan and giving me beautiful souvenirs and a five star rating. It’s getting cold , take care of your health.
Mana was an excellent tour guide. She was extremely patient with our family of 4 (2 kids ages 15 & 12). I am still surprised at how much she was able to fit into our day. There is absolutely NO way we would've been able to see 1/2 of what she was able to share with us. While she is from Kyoto, she speaks English quite well. She made sure to cover all of our wishes despite it being a very busy day in Kyoto (Jan 2nd). We saw beautiful temples, shrines, bamboo forest, monkeys (she's in great shape by the way - we requested to see the monkeys and it was quite a hike up the mountain), shopping, Gion, etc. She knew the buses and trains very well. My husband and I were very relieved we didn't have to figure it out. She also, made sure we knew of the special local stores for matcha, treats, bambo... read more
Dear Michelle. Thank you so much for taking time and a wonderful review. It was very nice to hear from you because some shops were closed during New Year week. You have such a nice and fun family! I hope to see you again!!
Mana is efficient, helpful and completely professional. We had 5 tourist activities in Kyoto in 8 hours, including seeing the (snow) monkeys and she helped us accomplish them all and even more. She is knowledgeable and was helpful at all attractions, as well as recommended an excellent restaurant for lunch. Mana is extreme fit so be prepared for a brisk work out in trekking all around Kyoto.
Dear Daniel. Thank you very much for your great review. I enjoyed happy talking with you all the way to the end of the tour. Please come again Kyoto in autumn color season. MANA
Mana was our guide for two of us (Americans - father and 11 year old son). She came up with a plan to help us make the most of our one day in Kyoto and was great about guiding us through and teaching us about Kyoto sites! I found her English was fine and I would recommend to others! Thanks so much Mana!
Dear Chris.Thank you for giving me five stars. Although it was rainy and cold this end of the year, I hope you enjoyed your tour here in Kyoto despite of the crowd and time constraints. You are very much welcome with your son in coming back here with the 10 yen coin.
An excellent itinerary. Went at a good pace. Saw a lot. Mana showed good judgement on what to do, what to explain, and how to get around. Went on around 10 subway trains and buses. Kinkakuji temple and Arashiyama were highlights. As were the special streets in Kyoto one would struggle to find by oneself.
Dear Richard. You are full of positive energy and nice. I appreciate that very much.I could proceed my tour 1.5 times faster than usually. Also, I could enjoy talking to your daughters and son which made me very happy. The weather was very good, but it's winter so you could not see all the beauty of Japan.I am looking forward to seeing you in Japan in spring or autumn. Please come to us again. Thank you.
