I was travelling alone and hired Kazuo for 8 hours tour of Tokyo. It was my first day in Japan. He customized my day so that I got to see all the sights that were not included in a group tour that I was going to join the next day. He was very knowledgable and shared detailed information on the sights and day to day Japanese culture and ways of life. It was nice to interact with a Tokyo native and see the city through his perspective. Even though I was younger and travelling alone, he made me feel comfortable and safe. I was very very pleased with the whole experience. Even after continuing on to a 9 day group tour. I still feel that my first day tour with Kazuo was my best experience. Thank you very much.
Thank you for your wonderful comment. I also enjoyed the tour too, especially,Sakura of Shinjuku gyoen garden and maid Cafe at Alihabara . I am looking forward to seeing you again.
Kazuo was our guide for our first day in Tokyo. We had a wonderful day with our 3 teenage boys and we were all absolutely exhausted at the end of it! Kazuo was very cognizant of what would be interesting for them at the same time being very informative regarding the history of the sites we visited. His advice re navigating the train system will ensure that we’ll be confident by ourselves now. We’d highly recommend his services.
Hi Jane Thank for your wonderful comments. I also enjoyed your tour. Tomorrow I recommend you go to Okatimachi and enjoy shopping at Ameyoko street. Today You took Yamanote line and various type of subway.
Awesome guide! We booked Kazuo the day of our tour & he communicated very well with me while I was trying to booked him. He was good at making sure we were comfortable as we were touring with an elderly person so we had to take our time waking and going up and down subway stair cases. He was very patient & friendly through out the tour. Really enjoyed having to tour us around and we will definitely hire him again! He was also nice enough to give us instructions on going to other places for the remainder of our stay in Japan.
Thank you for your nice comment. I also enjoyed the guide with you. Please continue to enjoy your tour. I'm looking forward to seeing you again.
We had a private tour with Kaz-San on our first day in Tokyo. Kaz was very prepared with maps and a detailed itinerary of where to go and also giving us the flexibility to choose our destinations. He helped us with some common Japanese phrases and local history of all the places we went. We are still working on our “gozaimas” :) arigatogozaimas Kaz, we appreciate the extra time and attention you took to make our tour a great experience. Jay
Hi Jay thank you for your good review I think you enjoyed Shinjuku walking tour We ate famous niboshi ramen noodle in the golden street. Next I would like to bring you to my favorite ramen restaurant, seafood soup. I was impressed by your positive learning of Japanese expression. I think you master phrase,〜San,〜gozaimas,〜deshita. Please continue your nice trip from kazu-san
Our small group of ex-pats hired Kazuo-san to take us around to some shrines and temples and explain the differences between the two main religions here in Japan - Shintoism and Buddhism. Kazuo-san was a excellent guide and very prepared for our tour. He even made a notebook for each of us with explanations of all the different aspects of both types of religious buildings and what goes on there. Our whole group learned a lot about religion in Japan and will be great guides for our guests when they visit.
Amandaーsan, Thank you for your wonderful comment. I also enjoyed your guide. I am surprised that all of you have good knowledge of Japanese religion. Amandaーsan already know that the ashes of Buddha is enshrined at the five story pagoda, may be better than ordinary Japanese. I am looking forward to seeing you again. Kazuo
