Visit Koedo Kawagoe, or little Edo. Kawagoe is small town that you can walk around.
You will find not only traditional Edo style houses, but also remains of Edo period, as well as Meiji, Tisho and Showa periods.
You would feel as if you slip back in time!!
We will walk the town either clockwise or anticlockwise, so that we can cover the main sightseeing spots, including Kitain Temple, Kawagoe Castle, Hikawa Shrine as well as Kurazukuri Zone where you can stroll around by visiting shops for souvenirs, Japanese sweets and Japanese traditional snacks.
So in one day, in addition to visit historical sites such as Kawagoe Castle, and Kitain Temple -where you could actually see the buildings and cultural assets from Edo period, you can also enjoy shopping and snacking while strolling at the Kurazukuri Street.
If it is too much to walk, we can also take city loop bus.

We went on an 8hr tour with 5 kids of all ages and everyone had a great time because Sachimi went overboard to make sure that the everyone's whim was catered for. What could have been a stressful experience turned out to be a wonderful, fun & culturally and historically educational tour. Make Sachimi your guide and you will have no worries.
Hi Adrian-san & family. Thank you very much for very warm review. It was lovely day to spend day with you at my favorite town, Kawagoe. I am so glad that everyone enjoyed the day, especially eating and shopping :) Please enjoy whole your stay in Japan for a month & lovely family get together. I wish to see you again in the future. best regards, sachimi
She was great for showing us places not rushed. I could take a time to photograph places as I wanted( I’m an amateur photographer). My family (3) enjoyed her guided tour.
Hi, Nancy-san Thank you very much for your kind review. It was really nice meeting you all and I am happy you enjoyed the tour with me. Also I feel great that you could take photo as much as you like and hope you have many great photos of the day. Please enjoy all your stay in Tokyo and Kyoto! Also please come back to Japan again! Thank you and have a nice trip. best regards sachimi
Sachimi was so lovely and taught us a great deal about Japanese culture. She showed us around Kyoto for the day and chose a wonderful restaurant for lunch. We would absolutely recommend her. We would definitely use her again as our guide.
Our experience with Sachimi was very fun! We visited Ueno Park and learned about the variety of museums present there. We also visited Nezu Shrine and Sachimi shared information regarding the historical and cultural significance of the architectures, and memorials there. When we went for lunch, Sachimi chose a very nice restaurant that fit our taste. She is a very knowledgeable and very kind guide. We highly recommend her for any and all travelers visiting Japan!
Hi, Ellen-san Thank you very much for your lovely review. I am so glad spending a day with you and your son. Hope all of your stay and experience in Tokyo are memorable one despite hot weather.. I am looking forward to meeting you again at nicer season:). Thank you again and best regards, Sachimi
Sachimi was an absolutely fantastic guide! She met us promptly at our hotel and took us through Ginza before starting the tour of Tsukiji. She explained everything about the market and each of the different things on sale we saw and also took us to the best spots for fish and other foods (instead of letting us buy them at the first stall we saw them). Having a Japanese speaking guide who was able to help us communicate was incredibly useful and Sachimi did an amazing job with everything. We would highly recommend her for a tour!
Hi, Juan-san, Thank you so much for your wonderful review!! I am so glad you enjoyed the market so much. I also had good time with you seeing all of your happy face while eating “Oishi” food! Hope you had great holiday in Japan, and would come back again! Best regards Sachimi
