“ So much knowledge ”

Our tour with Kashima was excellent. He was extremely well prepared with printed facts on so many areas of interest, and was able to inform us of a lot of background information that might otherwise have been missed. He was also very accommodating with our food requests and found a wonderful Okonumiaki resturant in Dotonbory street, a stunning area of countless food venues. I can thoroughly recommend Kashima as a guid and great value for your money invested

KASHIMA:

Lindsay san, Thank you very much for your great and utmost review for me. I am very much pleased that you selected me as a tour guide for your precious tour in Osaka. I was impressed that you, your wife and your friends have strong curiosity about Japanese culture, history , sports, both old-fashioned & modernized atmosphere with various architecture and various Japanese common information. We visited Osaka castle where one of the most important Japanese history background exists, Dotonbori food street where lots of flashy signboards at each food restaurants are inviting you by "drinking and eating luxuriously until you will be financially broken." And Umeda Sky building which used to be registered as one of top 20 excellent architecture by a famous England book maker. It was good that yo... read more

“ Fast to come up with itinerary but not attentive enough ”

Kashima san was very fast in responding with a one-day Tokyo itinerary and adjusted it twice before we agreed and paid. Prior to the tour, I had conveyed specifically that there will be 2 persons who are about 80 years old but Kashima san had to be reminded him several times to slow down his pace. It was rather hot in the day and Kashima san could have been more attentive to the elderly folks to make sure they were doing alright. On the whole, we did not think Kashima san did a bad job but we could certainly do with more proactive sharing of information on Tokyo on Kashima san’s part instead of me asking him questions all the time! Cheers,

KASHIMA:

Wee san, Thank you very much for your honest and helpful review for me and selecting me as a guide for you precious tour. During the mail communication with you before the tour starting, I was informed that two elderly people of your family will accompany with you. Therefore, we decided to make a tour plan in Tokyo by three spots of Sensouji Temple, Tokyo cruise & Hamarikyu and East garden in Imperial palace by taking ample rest time each between the spots for a full day tour. I am very much sorry that I could not enough to watch and care your father and mother so that they can walk more slowly and be relaxed to visit each site. And I should find more better places for your parents to take ample rest. I shared the information of Japanese history, religion and culture for each spots to y... read more

Kashima, thank you for your guiding over the four days last week. We caused you some inconvenience when we forced a change of plans on you but you were able to handle the new priorities brilliantly. We wish you the very best for the future. Best regards, Trish and Ed

KASHIMA:

Ed san, Thank you very much for your great review for me and selecting me as a guide for you precious tour. You requested me as a guide for four days tour guiding separated by one days in between. You preferred to visit the tour sites where you can go without spending long transportation movement and not into noisy crowded spots. I am pleased that you and your wife asked me to include very interesting sites that are not a crowded but feel us traditional Japanese atmosphere such as Omiya Bonsai museum & Bonsai village and experience of Toden riding from Waseda to Otsuka station that is a tram only survived here in Tokyo. Also, we visited Zojoji temple, Tokyo tower, Ueno Toshogu shrine, Tokyo cruise, Hamarikyu garden, Edo museum in Ryogoku, Samurai museum, Tokyo National museum and Omote... read more

“ Personalized & perfect tour ”

Kashima was an outstanding guide who listened to what we wanted to see and then he delivered on each part! In addition to our scheduled tour Kashima delivered us to Swallow stadium to see the Giants/Swallows Baseball game, helped us purchase a unplanned third person’s ticket so that they could sit as close as possible to our pre-purchased tickets. The trip to the Sumo wrestlers training stable was fantastic! Kashima followed that up with Sumo Museum that let us know how well connected to the most important Sumo Stable in Tokyo we had just visited! Kashima not only did everything he promised but more. Kashima exceeded our expectations! Highly recommend. Kelly & Steve
