Kazu took care of all our travel arrangements in Kyoto. He is very well informed about sights, venues and history. Itinerary was all by walking, bus and taxi.
Dear Mr. Richard I appreciate your feedback. I’m very pleased that your nice couple enjoyed the tour in Kyoto. I had great time as well showing your couple around Kyoto. Moreover, you could enjoy staying at Japanese style hotel ("Ryocan") and you could enjoy Kyoto local dish. You have seen many buddha statues and beautiful pagoda which is symbol of Buddhism. I hope that these bring you good fortune. I'm sorry that I made you walk a lot in high temperatures and humid. I sincerely hope this experience was memorable and you visit Japan again and if so I would be glad to guide you again. Thank you!! Best regards, Kazuhiko Goto
Kazuhiko (Kazu) was an excellent guide for our five days based in Kyoto, from which we toured that city, plus Nara, Osaka and Mount Hieizan. Kazu was always prepared, punctual and well organized. He was unfailingly polite and always helpful. He has an easy manner and a quiet sense of humor. Kazu researched each day thoroughly and provided interesting historical context for all that we saw. While seeking to give us the widest experience in the time we had, he was mindful of the pace we wanted to keep and the things we wanted to focus on. He has a quiet pride in his country's heritage and is knowledgeable about its history. My wife and i thoroughly enjoyed our time in and around Kyoto. That was made possible in many ways by our guide, Kazu. We would recommend him highly.
Dear Mr.Malcolm I appreciate your feedback. I’m very pleased that you and your wife enjoyed the tour. I had great time as well showing you and your wife around Kyoto, Nara, Osaka and Mt..Hiei. I'm sorry if I made you walk a lot in hot and humid weather. I was concerned about you getting tired. I'm glad that I was able to show you Japanese countryside. I hope you also enjoy the tour in Tokyo. I sincerely hope this experience was memorable and you visit Japan again and if so I would be glad to guide you again. Thank you!! Best regards, Kazuhiko Goto

He showed us how to use the subway and bus systems, provided excellent information about the places we visited. He also gave us valuable historical feedback. His research and level of communication was excellent. We thoroughly recommend Kazu as a tour guide.
Dear Ms.Joy I appreciate your feedback. I’m very pleased that your nice couple enjoyed your tour. I had great time as well showing your group around Nara. However, we changed trains several times to go to Nara. I have to apologize for the inconvenience Moreover, I'm sorry that I walked fast. In Nara, you have seen one of largest wooden building in the world and huge Buddha statue at Toudaiji Buddhist temple, 3,000 Japanese lanterns in kasuga Shinto shrine and five story Pagoda at Koufukuji Buddhist Temple. After that, you enjoyed Conveyor belt sushi. Moreover, I am glad that you have bought suitable ”Hou-Chou" (Japanese kitchen knife) at Nishiki Japanese Traditional Market in Kyoto. I sincerely hope this experience was memorable. I sincerely hope you visit Japan again ... read more
We were a large family of 13 including 2 seniors and 3 children. We toured Kyoto and Nara with Kazuhiko Saan over 2 days. He really helped make our trip memorable and kept our big group engaged. His English is easy to understand and he offered great print outs for the major sights. We really appreciate his advice to get a van for our tour and also helped me get connected with the van service. The A/C van/mini-bus was very comfortable especially as the weather was extremely hot and humid. We had a great time over the 2 days and covered all the major shrines and temples that we wanted to. The kids loved the paper cranes that Kazu Saan handed out at the end of the 2 days. Thank you very much to Kazuhiko and Triplelights.
Dear Ms. Shruti I appreciate your feedback. I’m very pleased that your nice family enjoyed their tour. I had great time as well showing your family around Kyoto and Nara. I'm sorry that I could not take your family to all spots you had requested, because we had no time to visit all spots. Moreover, I'm sorry that I made your family walk a lot in the heat and humid. I sincerely hope this experience was memorable. I sincerely hope your family visits Japan again and if so I would be glad to guide your family again. Thank you!! Best regards, Kazuhiko Goto
We were traveling by cruise ship arriving in Kobe. Kazuhiko-san provided us with train schedule and met us at the Hotel lobby near the trains station. We visited all the temples and sights promised in record time. We took taxis to get around each site. This can add a substantial amount to the day; make sure to bring enough cash as taxis do not take credit card in Kyoto. Kazuhiko-san was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable. His recommendations of what to visit in the short amount of time we had in Kyoto were excellent. We made it back to the train station earlier than expected, but considering the weather (38C/98F), we didn't mind. We would recommend Kazyhiko-san as a guide.
Dear Ms.Patricia I appreciate your feedback. I’m very pleased that your nice couple enjoyed the tour. I had great time as well showing your couple around Kyoto. I'm sorry that you paid much taxi charge than expected. Moreover, I'm sorry that I made you walk a lot. Because of hottest day, your couple got tired. I hope that your couple can get rid of tiredness soon. I sincerely hope this experience was memorable. Moreover, please have a nice trip. I sincerely hope your couple visit Japan again and if so I would be glad to guide you again. Thank you!! Best regards, Kazuhiko Goto
