What to Expect
This private one day tour includes must-see tourist spots in Nara and Osaka.
You will visit Todaiji Temple, a World Heritage Site in Nara, which was built in the mid 8th century. Its main hall is regarded as one of the largest wooden buildings in the world, and houses the Great Statue of Buddha, the largest in Japan. You will also walk about in Nara Park nearby, which still keeps the very Japanese quiet and elegant atmosphere. If you feed the wild deer in the park, you will make good friends with them. They love you with deer-crackers all the time. Sara has good underground water for sake. Let's go to Kasuga Grand Shrine and a sake brewery and try a little sake.
Osaka Castle and Dotonbori are located in the center of Osaka. Osaka Castle was build in the 16th century by Hideyoshi Toyotomi, one of the strongest and most popular feudal lords in Japan. From the top of the castle tower, you will be able to enjoy a magnificent view. I bet you will feel as if you were a lord. You will see what a Japanese castle was like by looking at a variety of displays in the tower.
Dotonbori has been a downtown of Osaka. As you might know Osaka is regaded as a food city in Japan. Let's stroll around. I suggest you try Osaka foods like Takoyaki and the like.
