I needed help with navigation and language in Osaka and Kyoto for two days, and had very specific ideas of what I wanted to see and do in a very tight timeline. A few places I wanted to go were not typical tourist destinations, and a few places involved arriving very late night or early morning. Kaori seemed happy to take on the challenge of guiding me, even if she had not taken other tourists to some of the places I wanted to go. She even went out of her way to learn more about the things I was interested in, and was able to suggest additional stops that enhanced my trip. Kaori was very organized and knew the Osaka and Kyoto areas very well. Her conversational English is exceptional - she is very easy to understand and communicate with. She has a high level of energy and is very fri... read more
Ah, the Osakan Lotus named Kaori! She had great communication with us early on and was able to customize a tour for my husband and I in celebration of my 40th birthday. She was easily able to organize our tours based on our interests and was efficient in doing so. She had alternate plans for us in able to beat the heat and suggested we meet early and finish early, then go out to explore on our own in the evening when the temperatures were cooler. She took us to tour every site we wanted to see without hesitation and was so kind in doing so! She had many tricks up her sleeve and we were able to go with the flow and trust her with our bookings/reservations. Some of the best times we had were doing things we would never have otherwise chosen to do! She helped me explore my foodie ... read more
What an amazing day we had in Osaka with Kaori. We were there for only a day and we feel like she showed us everything we had to see (and more). Kaori is very funny, warm and friendly and she makes you feel very comfortable. If you want to see Osaka for a day, do youself a favor and hire Kaori. She was so efficient that we were able to see SO much. Thank you Kaori and let us know if you ever come to New York

Hello Matthew! Thank you for leaving me a warm comment :) I am glad you could enjoy the time in Osaka and Kobe! I love you and your mom’s full of curiosity :D Thank you for inviting me to beautiful lunch, too! I wish you safe trip! Kaori
One sentence... Kaori is awesome! Seriously. I can not recommend her enough. Even before the tour, the day before I was looking to go to a live house/music show and couldn't find any. I sent Kaori an email to see if she had any recommendations. Within a short time she had emailed back with a list of some awesome places that she recommended. My wife and I went to one and had such a good time. She met us the next day and took us to so many cool places that were for locals that were delicious. It was definitely my favorite night in Japan. She is super nice and knows the entire city since she grew up there. She went above and beyond what I would have expected for a tour guide and if you have the chance, you should let her take you around.
Hello David! Thank you for leaving me a great comment! It was very much fun night for me, too!! I am really glad you could enjoy local music show at a little live space!! It is not a common experience at all!! I wish you had great B-day at Tokyo with Nina ;) I am sure we will have another chance to hang out together in the future!! Thank you so much!! Kaori
