Hi Dominique, South African team is going to participate in the finals. Congratulations! did you see Japan vs. Scotland game yesterday? I hope Japan and South Africa will meet in the final game, and XXXXX win. Thank you for you review. Please say hello to your husband, and take care. Best regards, Toshi
My husband, son and I spent half a day with Toshi seeing the Osaka Castle and visiting a couple famous neighborhoods. He was very knowledgeable, speaks very good English, and was also flexible in adjusting the itinerary on the go to accommodate my son's interest in anime. Toshi suggested several good spots for pictures and found a great restaurant where he helped us order local food. Although the scheduled time was up, Toshi made sure we were able to find a store my son wanted to visit and then got us a taxi. We had a great time with Toshi.
Hi Diane, Thank you very much for your review. I myself had a fun time touring with your family. Your husband is friendly and an interesting gentleman to talk to and listen to. I was wondering whether your son got something he wanted have at the Animate place and got back home alright. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed eating local food at the restaurant. Please take care and convey my regards to your husband and son. Best regards, Toshi
Toshi-san and I had a lovely day touring temples and gardens. Even though it rained most of the day, with his knowledge of Kyoto’s transit system we were able to cover a lot of ground in a short time. We spent the morning in Arashiyama then ended our tour at the Golden Pavilion. As a solo traveler he made me feel comfortable and even eased my embarrassment when I realized I hadn’t brought enough cash! Thank you for your graciousness, Toshi. I enjoyed my tour!
Hi Holly, How are you doing? Thank you for the review. You mentioned about your embarrassment. I just wanted you to forget that while we are touring together so that you can enjoy what you were seeing and experiencing during the rest of the tour. I simply wanted you to have a fun day. After reading your review, I found out I kind of succeeded in doing that. Thank you. Could you see the cultural performance at Gion Corner? Best regards, Toshi
From the start, with prompt email responses, personalized itinerary, to the full day of enjoyable experiences, Toshi was an excellent guide. He was knowledgeable about the sites we visited and patient with our requests to find specific items and kept track of us while we meandered through the crowded markets! Thank you for an excellent adventure!
Hi Sandra, Thank you for your nice review. Too bad, that your husband was unable to join the tour. However, I'm glad that we could find the food and the Sake that you were looking for. I was hoping that your husband was happy with what you had gotten. If you ever come to Osaka or Kyoto, please let me know. Best regards, Toshi
Thank you Toshi for a great day in Kyoto. Toshi was excellent at communicating with us prior to our visit, recommending an itinerary that included our wish list of visiting an area with an experience of old Japan and the possibility of seeing a Geisha or Maiko. Toshi met us from the cruise terminal in Osaka and took us with him by train and taxi to the Kiyomizu Temple and the Gion district. In spite of the rain we had a wonderful day. Toshi was very informative and has many interesting stories to tell about the areas we visited. He is also very kind and mindful of our needs.Toshi made sure we arrived back to the ship in good time and having such an experienced guide made our tour so easy and enjoyable. Thank you for the recommendation to visit the Hakutsuri brewery at our next port of Kob... read more
