As a large group of 10 we just loved our day with Kaori in Kyoto & she was so relaxed & easy going it was just like she was one of us. There was no pressure to hurry, she let us enjoy the sights until we were ready to move on. We absolutely loved the Otagi Nenbutsuji Shrine & each statue had its own personality. We then enjoyed wandering down through the old housing village & shops to the bamboo forest while she shared lots of local knowledge with us. Our only regret is we didn’t have more time to explore this beautiful area with Kaori. Would highly recommend her for anyone wanting to do a tour in this area 😍
Hi, Wendy! Thank you for your great comment for our day! To be honest, I was a bit nervous to handle 10 pax,,, but you all great behave and manner, full of respect for my country and culture! I really appreciate! I enjoyed time with you all, too! I wish you had enjoyable trip in Japan, be happy always!! Thank you very much! Kaori x
STOP LOOKING NOW!! KAORI IS THE PERFECT GUIDE FOR YOU !! We had the most wonderful day with Kaori she listened to all the things we were interested in and planned the perfect day for us. She was fun to be with and we loved her bubbly easy going personality. She also knew some great secret off the main tourist route parts which we absolutely loved. Thanks for a great day Kaori. Prue
Hi, Prue! Thank you for strongly recommended comment lol I had wonderful time with you and your lovely family, too! I’m glad you love the place where I love the most in Kyoto. I believe you could enjoy Nara next day, too!! Thank you for sharing your time in kyoto! And wish we can meet again some point on our future! Kaori
I booked Kaori because of her experience and her reviews for my girlfriend, sightseeing around Kyoto. My girlfriend had a wonderful time with Kaori, fantastic personality, patient, and highly knowledgeable. She arrived at our hotel early ready to get going on the itinerary. It was the first time in Japan for my girlfriend so it was a blessing that Kaori was her guide. To say that Kaori lived up to her reviews and our expectations is a gross understatement. I would highly recommend her to anyone!
Hello Huong! Thank you for your lovely comment! It was such short time but I really enjoyed the time with Helen :) She is so smart, funny, very easy to communicate and really kind person. I wish we have more time to spend together :)) And I wish you have had good rest, too!! Hope to see you next time, or when I will visit to Vietnam!! Kaori
Kaori was very responsive from our initial message exchange. She went through the extra mile straight away on my points of interest and pointed out to me places that do not open during the Japan New Year Holiday. She was patient and very responsive throughout the booking process. She was flexible on her time, always arrive ahead of schedule. She took care of grandma and my teenagers, catered to different needs. She detoured so my daughter could pop in her favorite BTS singing group pop up store in Osaka. Everyone loved her enthusiasm and flexibility. She took us to great spots for pictures, pointed us to best stalls for local foods, adapted to our timeline for lunch and rest, showed us how to use the subway for our last day. We feel very lucky we found her.
Hello Jenni! Thank you for your beautiful comment :) It was such a wonderful time to share with your family! Especially I really surprised grandma’s strong physical strength!! I love 3 generations tour! Coz all has different interests and abilities but taking care of each other very well! It’s soooo sweet! And another thing! I am really happy you decided to join Samurai experience! I wish you have full of great memories in Japan! Kaori
We had Kaori show us around Kyoto and Nara on our recent trip and she was a fantastic tour guide that we all loved, especially our 8 year old girls! She was punctual, organized, interesting and considerate and knew her away around very well! Her English was great which made learning about Japan a breeze! Kaori was very easy to communicate with before our trip and helped plan a perfect itinerary for our days together based on our interests and needs - and she was very flexible when we wanted to switch a couple of things around while on the tour. Highly recommend booking Kaori as your tour guide, we're so glad we did!
